@pulmonary archery.: Yep, Max is back. But Monte is taking a break from touring. He's still with the band, but not on tour.

So pissed, my Uproar date got canceled, so looks like I'm missing them this time around :/

That's cool. I'm seeing them at the end of next month, I guess Monte won't be back then?

I really need to get up to date on my music news, I seriously have no idea what's going on with any bands.

^ I don't think he'll be back. I think he's taking the whole tour off.

I hope so. I was just really happy because most of my favorite bands were on that tour.

I pretty much get my news about bands from Tumblr. I'm on there a lot, so its convenient for me.

Yeah, I think you're right about Monte missing the entire tour... Anybody know why? Seems odd that there's always someone missing lately, haha.

The rumor I heard is he's tired and wanted a break so he went back home for a bit.

Hey everyone. I saw Escape The Fate Saturday and thought they did a really good job. Now I want to buy their cds. ^_^ I bought their first one from CD Tradeshop, but haven't given it a listen to yet.

New song by the guys, Ungrateful. I dig it a lot. Craig is such a beast, I swear.

I used to be a huge fan but I'm basically done with them now that Max is gone. I dunno, the band just kind of sucks now. Their third album I feel was the best one, that was the album that was TRULY Escape the Fate, but now they're taking steps back to This War is Ours, cutting their hair, changing EVERYTHING... just... no. and did I mention Max is gone? He was the one I looked up to and find an inspiration as a musician, I'm just going to wait until he joins another band. They'll be better than this garbage ETF has become, that's fo' sure....

....I should have listened to that song before writing my post... This reminds me of like, Cannibal Corpse and Cradle of Filth-type music ( the stuff I REALLY like >D ). Is this what they're going to sound like now? Or like This War is Ours where there were like, 3 heavy songs and then the rest all pop? :O

I'm not sure myself. I hope the album is more like this. I just loved everything about the song. It's amazing.
It's heavy, and Craig's vocals are just out of this world. I really hope the new album will be more like this.

I know, right! I heard them say something to the effect of, "It's going to be like This War is Ours" In an interview and it kinda disappointed me. I like the album, but it can't hold a candle to their last one, or even the first one. That and I don't like "Punk-pop" much at all. >.>

I actually really liked This War is Ours.
But I am hoping for something heavier from them. And once I heard Ungrateful, I was super happy. So, lets hope they keep this up!

I want to see more heavy stuff from Escape the Fate because they just have all the elements that a great heavy metal band does. Monte shreds AMAZINGLY, Craig is a great singer and Robert is a great drummer. I really want to see them pull it back together, I don't want to *not* be a fan because they are really awesome :3

Agreed completely. They do have what it takes, it's just what are they willing to do. A lot of fans want to see heavier stuff from them, so hopefully they'll listen.
I did read that they left their old record label and went with Eleven Seven Music, I guess with the old label they didn't have much say in they stuff they did so maybe it'll be different this time.
