When I make a story layout it'll look okay but like when you go to read the chapters everything I write will just be all jumbled up together and like you can't read anything, is there a way to fix that?

Go to Text >> Text and set the line height to at least the font size.

So for the Custom Profile Layout, I'm completely confused. I haven't been able to get it to change, no matter what I do, my profile stays exactly the way it is. A little help, please?

I'm trying to change my profile in Custom profiles (My mibba>Profile>Custom Profile, I believe I'm in the right place.) to anything but what it is.

What's not working? It's not saving or...?

(Can you post the code you're using?)

It saves, and when I go back it's still there, but it doesn't change anything on my profile.
I'm not using any specific code, I've been going through random codes the whole time, even attempting my own, which I suck at.

I don't understand what you mean – you need code to even have a custom layout in the first place.

If you don't know anything about HTML/CSS, messing with whatever codes you have probably won't turn out well. There's a tutorial here, or you could use pre-made layouts from a Mibba layout website or request a layout.

There was an Add Profile button I didn't know about. I clicked it and it showed my profile.
I feel a bit slow now. With the whole Add Poem, add story buttons, why wouldn't a Add Profile button be there? -_- lol. Thanks for trying to help.

I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with their custom story layouts. Yesterday, I made a layout for my story, Draco Dormiens (Sleeping Dragon) and everything looked fine, and today, I went to look it over before posting a new chapter, and the summary is fine, but the chapters are completely messed up, the text is scrunched into one line, all jumbled to the point of no words, and I haven't been able to fix it.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

It's your line height. Go to Text >> Text and change the line height to at least the same as your font size.

That is probably what was wrong. Thanks.
I went to go fix it and completely erased the whole thing, but I'll remember the line height while I remake it. lol. I used to be good at layouts, now I kinda suck. It's been too long.

Ok, I feel like a total idiot, but I've tried saving a few layouts on here, how do I view them?

Hey, I was trying to create new layouts and correct old ones on the new layout maker and it isn't working on my Mac browser. Like, the boxes near the color changers won't load. The layout maker is completely useless in my browser. Help?

What browser are you using? I've used both Safari and Google Chrome on my Mac and it works.

What type of layouts? If you go to My Mibba and hover over whatever you made layouts for, a menu should come up with a "Layouts" link. That'll take you to a list of the layouts you've made for stories/poems/blogs. Just click "Edit" for the layout you want to view and it'll take you back to the layout maker with all the settings you saved in place.

    @ Farce.
Are you using an old version of Safari?

I was using Firefox on my Mac. I tried Safari but it still isn't quite the greatest. My version gets updated every year.

Whichever browser you use, updating to the latest version is your best bet. A lot of the compatibility problems have been solved, but the solutions are geared towards the latest version so there are still problems with older versions.

Okay, this is probably a dumb question. For story layouts on the old Mibba, you could choose where you wanted your story to be on the page, as in on the left side, center, or right side. With this new layout I can't figure out how to do that, nothing I try seems to do what I want (which is basically put the whole story area on the left side rather than the center, which is the default). Can I still do this? How? Confused
