I have to say I like the old Mibba way better. It was easier to find stories. Personally I'm the person that likes to read completed stories just because if it's good I get impatient if I have to wait. Sometimes I end up forgetting if the person doesn't update regularly. I liked the option of choosing completed stories vs newly updated ones. Now it's all mixed in together and I can't seem to find anything.

It is possible to only search for completed stories on New Mibba; click the plus button next to the 'search' button on the stories overview page, you'll be taken to the Advanced Search. There you can refine the types of fiction, or the genres you want your search results to show. The last option you can tick is 'completed'; tick that and only completed stories will show up.
Also, if there's a 'tick' in the top corner of the story as it appears on the story overview page, that indicates that the story has been listed as completed, also.

I thought New Mibba was confusing at first, but I've really come to love it. Although navigation is different, I think once you find your way around, it's much better than old Mibba.

I honestly like the new Mibba, besides the layout maker. I hate, hate, hate, hate it. It's really frustrating, and I write to relieve stress, not to cause it and that's all it's done so far. :(

    I miss the old Mibba.

I will say this new Mibba is very confusing and I am having a huge issue with going back to my daily mibba updates because I can not find my way around but this mibba is more organized and helpful. I do not know how to work it yet but I am very willing to learn. The old Mibba had multiple errors, and I was always annoyed I could never put a layout on Poems... Now we can!:)

I think New Mibba is easy enough to figure out once you get a chance. Overall I prefer new to old, though I do miss a few things from the old Mibba. And, yes, the layout generator thing is so annoying.

More questions: What does the little number in parenthesis mean? Is that the number of chapters a story has? What's with the little check mark at the corner?

The check mark means the story is finished, and the number in the paranthesis is the number of chapters. :)

I wonder what happened to the star system? Didn't that tell us which stories supposedly sucked vs the ones that people enjoyed?

It told us what stories were popular, not necessary which stories didn't suck. On the new system, users will be able to rate the story themselves and they'll rate it in different areas like original, characterization, etc. (I'm not sure what the actual categories are, but it will create a rating that is more likely to reflect the story and not just it's popularity with readers who may or may not know what they're talking about.)

My friends told me today about the Mibba change since I haven't been on in awhile. To be honest I like the old layout better.... I mean... it looks cool, but there are some things I just don't like about it. Like my profile page... gone! I worked hard to make my own profile layout and now it's gone. I know there is a custom, but mine is still long gone I wish they could have just kept the layouts and if you wanted to change it you could..... I mean we all had our layouts for a reason. Plus everything looks more complicated.... and it feels very .... facebook-y :/

However, there are some things that are nice. But if I could keep it the way that it originally was... I would. They should have an option where if you want to see the new layout you could and if you wanted the original layout you could have that too. :)

Why is your profile gone? I can see this one right here.

To get to a custom profile, you click the little icon on the right of the person's username (in the box on the right where all your info is) or you can press the blue "Profile" button on the person's main profile.
