Girls in the Summertime

Hello, fellow co-authors! Here's an easier way for us to stay in touch!

So, let's get to work on making an amazing story!

So as a catch up, my character's name is Lucy. She has red hair, freckles, and dark brown eyes that are nearly black. She lives with her ten-year-old sister, Jessie, and mother. Her parents are divorced. Lucy likes to write lyrics that reflect her emotions, and perform them at a local café.

My love interest's name is Nick. He has dark hair and dark blue eyes. He'll be lean and muscled. He comes across as the shy, nerdy type, but is secretly addicted to heroine.

Okay, Sara isn't on yet, but I'm back, so yeah.

So my character is Blake. She has long blonde hair, very tall and athletic. She has two older brothers, Ronald and Patrick, both off in college (and only visits during vacation). She strives to be a business woman and a future CEO of a company because of the influence from her business-driven family. During the summer, she will be hired as an office manager by one of the big companies around the area (she will use this job as something on her resume & to gain more experiences in the business industry). Usually, she is carefree and loud (sometimes obnoxious) but when she is working, she is more stressed and concentrated (sometimes boring to onlookers).

Blake's love interest is Daniel. He is a first rate asshole, but is lovable amongst many (mostly people who work with him). He is very straightforward and speaks what is on his mind, and sometimes people think he is too offensive for his own good. He will be working in the same office as Blake, also as a summer job but he is already in college (maybe 20?). He leads a group of co-workers to believe that Blake cannot survive the business industry because women shouldn't clash with business. Daniel will always try to prove his theories right while Blake will always try to prove him wrong. They are rivals and they bond through this relationship.

Nahh don't feel like that! I just have an obsession with developing my characters. That is all there is to me.

LOL. Well, it's a somewhat healthy obsession, I suppose. XD

Sorry it took me so long!

My character is Allison, she has long blonde hair as well, she have an average hight, and she loves horseback riding, she also have her own horse. Her eyes have a green color with a bit brown in it. She love music as well and during the summer she will get a work in the local music store. She lives in an apartment with her older brother Austin. She is a open minded person and she is nice to everybody, but when it comes to love, she is really shy and quiet.

Allison's love interest is Logan, he have semi long brown hair and green eyes. He is tall and have a lot of muscles, and then he have a lots of tattoos. His best friend is Allison's brother and he often lives with the two of them. He act like he don't care about anything towards people he don't know, but for the people he know he is all sweet. What Allison doesn't know is that he secretly do drugs and is a pretty known drugdealer.

Any suggestions/help would be great, guys. I'm looking for something dramatic, but fun.

Okay, so, if you think that your brothers are going to be in the story then I'm also going to need pictures of them. (But they have to be frequent characters: They can't just show up once. They have to repeatedly show up in the story.)

Sorry for the extremely late reply.

But anyways, so how do we start the story before each individual girls go on with their lives? Maybe the first chapter can have the three girls united together doing something simple together. Wait, I have a better idea. If neither of you want to do it, I'll take the first chapter. Maybe we should start the first chapter with their high school graduation, their friends and family all attending. I can take on the graduation chapter!!

Well, I was thinking that maybe we could have a couple of chapters with the girls still being friends.

Since your character is so obsessed with her job, maybe she could drift first. Then as Sara and I try to get you to stop working and come hang, you just get all cranky from a bad mood that Daniel put you in.

Then maybe I'll get a little too involved with Nick (and I wanna meet him at the beach or something... You'll see why). Next thing you know BANG! We're not friends anymore because we all get in one heck of a fight.

Also, I want my character to have three jobs: Babysitting, dog walking, and working at the local bookstore in the mall.

Wait, so they will all eventually drift apart??? Okay, and I have this idea where after the trio drifts apart and Blake's relationship with D intensifies, she creates a reunion for everyone, bringing him along to introduce him to her friends. And Daniel, being the judgy, overly honest person that he is, says something wrong to one of the girls, and then they fight again. (Because that could happen on later in the story-- since my idea was for D's insult hurt one of the two girls, creating a feud between the trio, but we want them to drift apart before that, right?)

And the video is cute <3 I love Kat Graham since she kicks ass in TVD.

Thanks :) So I'll try to come up with a summary:

On the summer of 2012, three best friends set out on their final summer together before going their separate ways. The girls will no longer have each other close by as they plan to scatter to different parts of the country for college. After going through the journey of their lives as a united team, they have to mentally prepare to drift apart for the sake of their future.

As the events of their summer intensifies, the pressure of their future arises, and the love life of each girl buries them under; the concept of drifting apart is no longer a challenge.

Watch as Allison, Lucy, and Blake attempt pull through for one more summer as friends and disregard the demands of their future that could separate them for the rest of their lives. With their friendship put to the test, they try to prove fate wrong.

Even if they are destined to go their separate ways, their friendship is still together, linked as one.

And I am obsessed with The Vampire Diaries. I live and breathe that show!.
