Girls in the Summertime

  • @ Matty Mullins
Wait, I decided not to cover the sleep over part, only the beginning... since I spend so much time on the graduation. So is it okay for you to cover the sleep over, Sara? You can make our characters confess or do whatever you want, and you can format your chapter to however you like.

EDIT: I finished the chapter and it's posted now.

Btw. how old are the girls? :D
    July 6th, 2012 at 10:16pm
  • @ Matty Mullins
Well... maybe Blake's birthday is like April or something... so she is eighteen

  • @ Fast Girl
Okay, I just wouldn't want to make Allison too old or too young.
I guess I'll make her seventeen and turn eighteen in December.

Lucy's birthday is in May. :) She's eighteen, going on nineteen. XD

    @ Fast Girl
OMZ, Lucy and Blake have birthdays that are seriously close!

Jesus no! I meant she's eighteen and turn nineteen in December :b

Well, Blake JUST turned eighteen and will be nineteen two months before she completes her first year of University.

And I hope my chapter isn't too boring or anything... I wanted to get to the sleepover but I didn't realize that I would be writing so much and developing the relationship between Blake and her brothers.

I loved your chapter, personally. :) So funny. I love funny chapters. Can we keep Ronnie and Patrick? If not, then I'm legally adopting them. AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME, LACEY! YOU JUST CAN'T!

Lacey I eabsolutely adore your chapter - I adore both chapters that's up :D
Anyway I still find it funny when people write about going to Europe on vacation like it's a huge thing - which I understand it is, but it's still so weird for me to read, especially when they talk about going to Germany seeing that I only live 20-30min from Germany! Haha :D
    - Sorry I just had to tell it :P
But hey Lacey it's no fair, you totally just stole my idea about having some family members coming home from England, I had that planned, but nevermind I have another plan then :P

    @ Dreamer's Aly Cat
    I WANNA ADOPT THEM TOO!!!

  • @ Matty Mullins
We can be co-parents. I'll get them one week, and you get them the other week. Deal?

  • @ Dreamer's Aly Cat
    Yeah, that sounds good.

LMFAOOO!!! Stealing Blake's bros??? Well I can imagine her, "yeah girls, you can have em' I don't want them anyway" like in a teasing manner or something.
OMG thank you. I thought that as long as Ronnie is around, a bit of humor should be involved (although I don't think it was as funny as I would have liked).

    @ Matty Mullins
I understand what you mean, about the Germany thing. To me, Europe is extraordinary, so I guess us Americans find Europe a big deal. It's another continent to us and Europe is sexy, so yeah! Well when people freak out over NYC, I'm just like, yeah yeah... cool story bro.. because I live there and I'm used to everything about it. It is a bit strange for me when people freak out over NYC, seriously. So I know exactly what you mean.
And OMG! I'm sorry. What I had in mind was that Patrick attends school in Cambridge University and he lives in London for college and his girlfriend. But maybe you can stick to your ideas. Maybe it'll be beneficial for all of us.
Like if Allison has relatives there, they can like live close to Patrick and whenever Patrick goes to a certain part of England, he can turn to Allison's relatives. And maybe that's why Blake's parents are so close to Allison's (hence them talking in my chapter). Maybe Allison and Patrick can have this friendship that no one understands or something?
Also, the plan for Patrick's surprise return can be Allison's relatives' idea? The arrangement could be made to surprise both Allison and Blake?

  • @ Fast Girl
So, we're not going to be able to legally adopt Ronnie and Patrick?
    July 6th, 2012 at 11:04pm
  • @ Fast Girl
Exactly. But even people in Denmark (from Zealand which is a part of Denmark) can be all like; "OMG, it's so crazy that going to Germany is a normal thing for you", which I find kinda funny.
But yeah, it's just like that the United States is extraordinary for people in Europe.
I actually like that idea of yours! I was thinking about her cousin who have been there for her, her whole life, would live in Chelsea which is a part of London, so that'll fit perfectly. And yeah Allison and Patrick can have this weird friendship because maybe they have hung out with each other because of her cousin?

I'll try to update as soon as possible, though this is going to be a rough weekend, but I'll do my best! :)

LMFAO... you ready to fight for it??

On another note, I realized when one person updates the character page, the other author's characters disappear... I just did an experiment to prove that right. And do you guys want me to make the characters' profile for you on the character page? Just link me a picture of the character, full name, and the description, sexual orientation, and age/gender.

Wow, yeah... I guess it's just the culture and the way we are raised to see and perceives things, nationalities and countries included. Well and another thing is, we Americans find a lot of Europeans (British, French, Irish, etc.) accents to be the most attractive while the European countries are just like... oh yeah American accents, um okay? Like our accents aren't even sexy or attractive... haha.

Anyways, so Cambridge University is in Cambridge, England and Patrick lives in London, England because of Allison's relatives, particularly her cousin (how old is her cousin?) and because of his girlfriend, Mia. So I'll just say that Patrick takes the train to Cambridge in order to attend to his classes, so 45min to one hour from London to the University.

Also, another idea. If Allison's cousin is like 20 or 21ish, then maybe I can include a little side plot thing where Mia freaks out and gets extremely jealous of Allison's cousin... like she's always been jealous of their friendship. (Mia can feel threatened by Allison's cousin). I have plans for that to threaten Blake's career.

    Okay, I'm lost.

Also, I don't have links to any of my characters pictures...but I can make them. *thumps head* idiot

Anyway, I'll go make those links. XD

Wait, you're lost about what? Fighting for the bros?

And okay :) Yeah because IDk why can't all THREE authors add their own characters.

Oh gosh British, Scottish and Irish accent - I could die for these accents! But yeah you're definitely right! Though if you go to Zealand in Denmark, they have like THE worst English/American accent - Gosh it's terrible, haha.

Well first off, I thought of her cousin to be a male, but I can definitely make it a female so that your plan can go. You thought of her cousin as a female, am I right?
But anyway, I can make her cousin 21, which I actually already thought about doing, so yeah that's fine with me :)

  • Lucy Elsner: Shy, quiet girl. She lives with her loving mother, Karrie, and younger sister, Jessie. Her father left them when Lucy was nine, and she hates him for that. (Also because he got married to the woman he cheated on her mother with, and became instantly famous without so much as paying child's support.) She likes writing songs that express her feelings. She's the kind of suffer on the inside type.

Jessie Elsner: Lucy's adorable, innocent little sister who she would do anything for.

Chris Garrett: Clumsy guy with a big brain, and lots of potential.

Nick Cannon (Nah, just kidding. His last name will be Noble! Ha, got you again! His real last name shall be...Williamson: He's addicted to heroin. His parents are filthy rich, so he can buy as much of the drug as he wants without even leaving a dent in the family fortune. His mom and dad are never home. The only thing that keeps him alive is his camera. Nick comes off dorky at first, and kind of is a HUGE nerd, but he doesn't let it show with his tough-cool-guy attitude. (Yeah, like anyone believes it.) He has a lot going on. (Too much for me to say.)
