New new Mibba

I love new NEW Mibba, but it would be really awesome if we could get the preview option back before you post a story/chapter. But besides that, everything is really great (: I love the recommendations and the saved searches :p Those are both really cool, and I really love the new layout! It looks a lot more professional now (:

Emails: when I get an email about a story update or forum update, it goes straight to my junk mail in Hotmail. I figured when the first unnecessary change happened this would be the case, so adjusted my settings accordingly. When the second unnecessary change happened, same thing. I adjusted my settings again. But even though I've adjusted my settings (understanding that not all update emails have been received depending on updating schedules for stories), stuff still goes to my junk mail. Does it come from a generic URL each time? I kind of doubt it, but that's the only explanation I've got so far.

Alex Davies: you're not alone in your dislike. The rest of us have just stopped posting about it for the most part, since apparently no one wants to hear that people don't like it. But, know that you are not alone, and there are plenty of us who don't like the changes that have happened.

If you want to express your dislike about something on Mibba you can go to the Things You don't Like About Mibba thread. Just because someone doesn't make the changes you're demanding doesn't mean that "no one wants to hear that people don't like it".

Beating a dead horse, dear. Took my complaints there *and* to Dujo. I did get dates back (more or less) for chapters posted, so that's something good that happened. But I still see people going "oh, just because *you* don't like it..." when someone states an opinion that's negative about the changes.

Do you have contact@mibba.com added as a contact in your email account? I use gmail and I don't have that issue, but if you add it to your contacts, Hotmail should realize the emails are coming legitimately.

The Things You Don't Like thread isn't designed so that everyone who posts there will have their dislike sorted out for them. There are over 300 pages, most of those have not been "fixed" for anyone. The suggestions forum is where you can make suggestions. But making a suggestion doesn't equal it being changed.

If you're having trouble with Mibba e-mails being sent to your junk box, add Mibba's e-mail address to your contacts - - contact@mibba.com.

I use hotmail and I haven't had any problems with receiving email notices from Mibba, so I think it's a problem with your spam filter.

Speaking of saving searches...can we x out of that save box? It's adding another scrunch to my page (I have a 14" laptop monitor...) and I never save my searches anyway. Or is this a permanent thing? I'm running out of room for the size of my monitor and the number of "bars" being added to the pages on Mibba.

I will check and see, because there's a good chance that I don't. I'll add it and see if that solves the problem.

I really dont like the new layout at all, It's still taking me a while to get used to it. I much prefered the old mibba.

the new-new mibba has a lot of bugs, bro. it's seriously pissing me off.

It looks simpler but it looks a little boring. I still love Mibba so I'll get used to it.

Oh, I'm not used it yet yet, either. Haha. But I definitely feel like one day, everyone's going to wake up and be like "What did Old Mibba/Old New Mibba even look like?"

I prefer Old Mibba as well. And I'm among those not getting used to it. I've got one story going and unless things change around here (either get closer to the old version or at least lose all this bring blue and white, "let's be FB jr." crap) I might just exit quietly.
