I got Nausica for my birthday. Awesomely awesome. Spirited Away is yet another example of Miyasaki's amazing work. The anime in these films is simply breath taking.

I like the book a bit more than the movie, but one can't hate a director as good as Miyazaki.
Anyone read the sequel to it though, 'Castle in the Air'?

I saw this two days ago for the first time and I saw Spirited Away the day before that.

I have to say Howls Moving Castle was my favourite, I loved it. It was amazing.

And I have to agree with Rowan DeadRotten's Mum, Howl is attrractive for an anime character!

It's such a brilliant anime movie. Just magic.
I love how he's more thoughtful about what he put's into the movie though, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke have the nature of what man is doing to disrupt the enviroment. Both are brilliant films.

Ohmygod, this such an amazing film and it needs more credit!
I mean when people say Anime movies they think Spirited Away, but this has so much more depth than that film I think! Yay for the fans!

Sorry to post after this thread hasn't been active for so long.

But I was wondering if it was worth it to read the whole series? :cute:

But yeah, definitely my favourite Studio Ghibli/Miyazaki film.
