My best friend bought a hookah two nights ago and we've smoked almost an entire bag of Melon Blue shisha. I hate to admit that I liked it but I don't think I'm going to continue doing it because I'm pretty sure smoking shisha is just as bad as smoking cigarettes. I don't want to take a chance with my lungs since my Dad died of lung cancer. I just don't.

My mom smokes at present; dad quit 3 years ago.

I'm worried that my mom won't stop. She said it's incredibly hard to quit. My dad makes it sound that it's easy to quit. Her doctor said that quitting should be 'gradual' and that she should stop slowly and not just abruptly. That's true but I feel as if she's taking too much time. Well, at least she smokes 4 cigarettes a day. Before she used to go beyond 6.

Let me just say that your mum is doing a fantastic job and this is coming from a smoker. I smoke a whole 40 pack in 2-2.5 days. It is going to be so damn hard when I quit which I plan to one day. I could never go cold turkey. The person quitting needs the motivation to quit otherwise they are going to go absolutely no where and probably take it up once again. Be there for your mum and give her the motivation she needs to quit. I am sure some day in the very near future she will not be smoking or wanting to smoke again Cute

    We do! We have 20's, 25's, 30's, 40's and 50's

Some brands like Holidays have 22's and 44's
    John Player Special have 26's

is all really confusing lmfao I tend to stick to the cheapest pack which is John Player Specials in 40's cause they are only $23. Prices have jacked up so high here considering they were only $19 last year

We only have packs of 20 around here and they cost around $5-8. I usually buy a couple of packs for a week, but they're cheaper if I drive to the next state over. D: They're quite an expensive habit though. lol

They're really, really cheap in the Philippines. My cousins were making fun of me because I was snubbing one out to save for later. Over there it's like... $2 or less. ._.

There are quite a few reasons why people should not smoke.
    1. Costly - Smoking isn't cheap and if you have a family to support, you are taking a big percentage of the total income away. And that is selfish and mean.
    2. Health - Smoking leads to cancer and other diseases. People die everythday from preventable causes, like smoking. Is 10 minutes of "fun" really worth a lifetimes of pain?
    3. Smell - Smoke smells really bad to people who don't smoke. When you are walking by to enter a shop and people are smoking right out front, you are disgusted and wondering why these people can't go somewhere else. Why can't you? It's unfair to everyone else who has to smell your smoke. And secondhand smoking isn't good for your health eiher. Plus it doesn't come out of your clothes, ahir, home or car. Now whever you go people will know you smoke.
Sorry if this is offensive to anyone, but it is the truth.

Okay, I've gotta put my two cents in since I am a smoker

My aunt and uncle smoke, yes you are taking income away, but most budget around that. Their families come first before smoking. Yes I do understand that there are families who don't do that, but they are the ones who should not have a family. I budget around fuel, bills and other things I need before I go ahead and buy smokes. If I can't afford smokes, I don't get them until my next pay. We are not being selfish or mean. This is an addiction that is hard to kick.

It is not ten minutes of fun. It is fun when you are drinking and underage just because you are experimenting. Most people do it. We don't smoke because it is "fun." I started smoking because I was influenced by my boyfriend. I barely smoked, but the more I smoked the more I grew addicted to it. IT IS NOT FUN. Yes, smoking may lead to cancer and other diseases, but that is in the future after years of smoking, but just because you smoke doesn't mean you are going to die because of that. My pop smoked since he was 15 and yes we all thought he was going to die from smoking, but he didn't. His death had nothing to do with his years of smoking.

Yes there are some idiot smokers who stand there to annoy people while smoking, but most are respectful. If I have a mother and a child walk past me while I am out in the smokers area, I blow my smoke in the opposite direction so it doesn't go there way. Why can't we stay there and smoke? If we can smoke in that area, why can't we stay there? In Australia we have to be 4m away from an entrance to a store and we do that respectfully. We don't stand there to annoy other people, we are there cause we need a smoke because we are addicted. It is harsh to tell us just to move because you don't like the smell. The only reason to do such things is if they are being a twat and purposely blowing it in your direction.

The smell of cigarettes does come out of your hair and clothes, we do spray ourselves with deodorant after each smoke so people don't have to smell it and that is mainly while working. We don't care if people know we smoke if they come into our houses or cars because they already know, but most of us ask if it is okay to smoke while they are around. WE SMOKE, WHO REALLY CARES? I do not care if people judge me if I smoke. It was my decision to smoke and I do not blame my ex boyfriend for being my influence because it was my choice.

i was always the one who absolutely detested cigarettes. out of all my friends, i was the one who never picked up a cigarette. (the green stuff though, that's a very different story).

however, when i was 16 and at a new year's eve party, i contradicted myself. back when k2 was a huge thing, i was high off of that, and my now-ex gave me a cigarette to "try". i was "meh" about it afterwards. i still preferred weed over it, still do. every now and then, i'd bum a smoke off someone at a show, and eventually started having my friends who were 18 at the time, buy them for me. needless to say, i haven't dropped the habit yet. i love smoking. as stated above, gives me something to do with my hands, and i love the feeling of smoke in my lungs. i normally smoke anywhere from 5 cigarettes, to a pack and a half a day. when it's time for me to work hospice charity events, i go through about 3 packs. lately, i've stayed at about 5 cigarettes a day because i'm trying to quit before my daughter realizes what i'm doing and starts to think that it's okay. I don't smoke cigarettes. Well, I can't say I don't, but when I do, I'm usually extremely stressed out, but I can't honestly say I'm addicted because I smoke very far and few between. I smoke Camel menthols when I do smoke. Now the things I actually smoke is hookah and a lot of weed. I can't help but laugh at mentioning I smoke weed.

Now, my hookah is by far the most expensive smoking device I have, and I even got it on sale for about $120, but it's by far the best hookah I've ever owned (I've had two other ones) and also the biggest one (It's approximately 3 feet and 3 inches tall). If you ever purchase a hookah, I highly recommend buying a Khalil Maamoon one. The hookahs at the hookah lounges don't even compare to my hookah. I asked the employees at the hookah bar I frequent if I could bring my own hookah, and they said it was okay as long as I still pay the price for the bowl, which doesn't bother me because I understand they have to make money somehow!

Now when it comes to the marijuana, I smoke usually out of this bong my friend made out of a large Voss botttle and a sharpie with some duct tape. It's pretty impressive, and every friend who's smoked out of it says that it's one of the best bongs they've smoked out of. I also bought a glass pipe that's red, white, and blue, and I named it Columbia after the floating city in Bioshock: Infinite since it's a really patriotic city, and if you've ever played Infinite, you know that the city is a little violent, and that pipe can for real destroy you since it has a really deep bowl.

My parents smoked when they were younger. My mom quit the moment she became pregnant with my sister, her first born. I'm not entirely sure when my dad quit, but I know it was some time around the time my mom did for the same reason; he didn't want a pregnant woman around the smell whatsoever. Neither of them have smoked ever since.

As for myself, I started smoking "socially" (absolutely ridiculous term), like when I was drinking. But then I began to smoke every time I got stressed, and then it turned into a regular, daily thing. This all happened within about a year. I didn't want anyone to know, so I'd spend more money on perfume and hand lotion than I did on cigarettes. I realized very early on that it was a stupid, unhealthy habit and quit cold turkey. I'm thankful that I was able to come to my senses so soon, because I know the effects can be deadly.

I actually really enjoy the smell of cigarettes, too, and I think it's because my very first boyfriend smoked religiously. I must have just associated the smell with him.

My boyfriend's father smokes quite a lot. He used to go through at least two packs a day, and with them being from New York City and the prices being even higher there, it cost him about $200/week. It really bothered me that he smoked inside the house because his wife had quit when she was pregnant with their son, and they also have five cats and a dog. I just think it's very inconsiderate. Not to mention my boyfriend is very small (~100 lbs) and I always had it in my mind that the smaller you are, the more prone you are to lung cancer, or some other disease you can get from smoking, or secondhand smoke. While I'm not sure if that's true at all, it's always been in my mind. Thankfully, his father has moved on to E-cigarettes and is eventually going to quit. It's definitely a step in the right direction for him.

The store I work for has stopped selling cigarettes as of November 1st and even customers who came in solely to buy cigarettes from us have said things like, "It's about time!" It's kind of amazing how many people are happy we have stopped selling them. Not everyone is happy, but the majority of people are.

Overall, I just think it's stupid that cigarettes are available to the public. NYC, and possibly other states, raised the legal age from eighteen to 21. My great grandmother died of lung cancer from secondhand smoke - she never smoked a cigarette a day in her life, but her husband did. Her husband did not die of any cigarette-related problems.

If you want to smoke, alright. But to do it inside, I think, is inconsiderate.

Both my parents used to smoke. My mom quit a few weeks ago and my dad quit cold turkey when he found out my mom was pregnant with me.

I hate smoking. I hate what it can do to your health and I hate the smell of it. Depending on what the brand is, the scent can make me sick to my stomach. I also don't like how the scent hangs around. I hosted an exchange student who smokes. She was living with me for a week and after she left, the scent of her cigarettes lingered in my room for a month and I tried everything to make it go away.

I also don't like that feeling of not being able to breathe. Whenever I pass by someone who is smoking, I start coughing up a storm (not intentionally).

What secondhand smoking can do to a person freaks me out too. I know of many people who have gotten lung cancer from secondhand smoking. I've done a lot of secondhand smoking from being with my mom and other family members when I was younger.

Overall, I do hate smoking but I'm not going to force you to stop or intentionally cough obnoxiously when walking by.

I used to vow that I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER smoke when I was a child.
But when I was 13, I was pressured into to take a drag off a cigarette. I did, & I hated it. Then at 15, same thing happened, but it went down smoother. So I just didn't stop.
Yes, it's bad for me. Do I care? Not really (not now that is).
All I'm going to say is that it's MY body, & MY decision. We're all going to die anyways.

I started smoking when I was around 11 or 12. I had a few older friends who were smokers, and I just picked up on the nasty habit. I have tried to quit multiple times over the past five years, but it's rough and I usually end up smoking after around three months or so. Not smoking when I'm stressed is the most difficult. Whenever I'm stressed, I just have the need to pick up one. It's more than just a habit. I can taste the cigarette before I even put it in my mouth.

I smoke marijuana too, but not on a regular basis. I think the last time I did so was a couple months ago, before the new year. That I've only ever done with friends or at a concert or something. ::shrugs: Everyone is different I guess.

I smoke because I enjoy it. I don't do it often though...it's more of a treat for me. I used to smoke daily when I was 16 but I got scared about all the effects so I quit cold turkey. But then I realized ah fuck it, we're all going to die of something, you just have to pick your poison. No one guarantees you won't die tomorrow. I mean I had a friend that took care of himself beyond belief. He practically ran away from smokers, didn't drink, worked out, spent all his money on health food but he was hit by a dump truck and passed away at 21. Meanwhile my grandma smoked [heavily] since she was 12 and the lady's still perfectly healthy at 91.
Same with my grandpa: smoked since around 11, lived to be 87 but died of something unrelated.
I might die next week, or in five years, or in 20, even maybe in 100. I don't know so I might as well enjoy the ride.

As long as I'm outside and don't bother anyone, I don't see the problem.

I also like to enjoy hookah. Everyone blam that hookah is more harmful, But the positive part of hookah smoking is spending time with friends. I believe in enjoying life rather than living stupid life. Absolutely, cigarette smoking is a kind of addiction where you haven't the option to come back into social life. My personal experience on hookah smoking is approximately 8 years, without any health issues. It doesn't mean smoking all-time shisha makes you relaxed, It brings laziness into your life. I believe in smoking for some enjoyment without too much. Hookah session in depression is a good part to keep yourself active. I have a collection of the Best Hookah and their accessories. Own hookah sets help to get a party at home. It's more flexible to enjoy because there was no crowd to disturb my gang. I'm a big fan of blue mist, to get a great refreshment experience I like to use it with some mixed flavors.

Due to the fact that I spent a lot of time studying, I did not sleep very much and from this I had problems in my studies. But then my friend advised me this site https://delta8.mjcbdd.com/products/mj-delta-8-vape-juice/. On which I could buy CBD and felt much better! I recommend you to try it if you feel tired!

I don't really like these gummy bears because they have a lot of sugar. https://neurogan.com/blogs/news/benefits-of-cbd-gummies I prefer to use natural oil, which I buy on . I find that the use of this oil increases my appetite and cheerfulness. I'm very pleased that I started using this product in the morning before work because it increases my productivity.
