Don't Forget Me

Marley smiled lightly and nodded her head, squeezing his hand. "I'm glad." She said with a laugh and sighed. "It's been too long... I've missed you so much." She hugged him tightly, holding her arms around his middle and she cuddled into his chest.

Ethan smiled at her and nodded his head. "I know... It will be perfect." He kissed her forehead and wrapped an arm around her, holding her tightly. He sighed. "Aw, you shouldn't do it... I don't want it to be a burden for you to plan our picnic."

Jon smiled slightly as he held her tightly to himself, nodding slightly. "Everything's okay now," he assured her quietly. He might not have his memories entirely, but he had her and he decided that she was more important than his memories and that he wasn't going to let anything ruin what they had now.

Claire smiled slightly as she buried her face against him, shaking her head slightly. "It won't be a burden," she told him softly, glancing up at him for a moment before she returned her face to its buried position. "I want to, after all. I think it will be fun, so don't worry."

Marley smiled and nodded her head, resting her head down on his shoulder and relaxing. "I know - I'm glad." She said softly and played with the small hairs at the back of his neck. "I'm glad I have you." She kissed the side of his neck softly.

Ethan smiled lightly and rubbed her back, shaking her head. "You sure about they? I don't want you to think I'm a lazy boyfriend when I should be planning it or something." He said, pecking her forehead before she relaxed completely against him.

Jon smiled slightly and nodded. "I'm glad I have you, too," he murmured, smirking slightly at the feeling of her kissing his neck as he ran his fingers through her hair gently. "Far more than you can imagine." He wanted to make her happy, needed to, especially since he had made her so sad earlier with not remembering her.

Claire smiled and nodded to his words. "I'm sure, don't worry," she assured him quietly, "If you really want to help, though, you can just choose where we have the picnic at. I haven't been here in so long, I don't know if there are any new places or anything that's changed."

Marley smiled and nodded her head, hiding her face into his neck so that he couldn't see the happy smile that was plastered on her face from what he said. She didn't care to point out that her feelings were much more important since she had never forgotten him, because it was petty. "I want to plan our date. Something special."

Josh smiled lightly and then nodded his head. "Okay, okay!" He said happily and pecked her lips. "I have the perfect secret place. I've never taken any other girl there before. It's a special place." He smiled and pecked her lips again. "It can be our place."

Jon smiled slightly and nodded to her words. “As you wish,” he assured her quietly, running his fingers through her hair. “What all do you want to do, anyways?” He arched an eyebrow, genuinely curious as he eyed her carefully. He wanted everything to be perfect for them and he planned on doing his best to do so.

Claire smiled slightly after receiving each peck, a slight blush on her cheeks after hearing his words. He hadn’t taken any other girl there? The thought made her feel rather special and she nodded to his words. “That sounds wonderful,” she told him quietly before kissing his nose with a grin.

Marley giggled lightly and shrugged, playing with his fingers as she thought. "Oh... I don't know - something good." She smiled and looked up at him. Maybe she could show him their old places... Not to jog the memory or anything - just because it meant something to her, because she fell in love with him there. "Somewhere special... At least, special to me. And we could spend time out there and then go get food, or have a picnic or something..."

Ethan smiled as her lightly and nodded her head. "It is wonderful - I've always thought of it as my place - but I want to share it with you." In truth, it was a place she knew too. A place where they had often played together - it was their place. It was a beautiful place in the back of the park, behind some woods. A little lake was there and they had even built a fort long ago. He didn't remember any of that - just that he often when there when he was sad or frustrated nowadays.

Jon blinked to her words, nodding as he listened. He held her all the closer to him, resting his head against hers as he thought about it. “Special to you, huh?” he asked with curiosity, a little surprise tinting his tone as well. “Well, I’m all for that.” He smiled slightly, glancing down at her. He wondered if the place she was talking about what special to him, too; he assumed it probably was, since it seemed they had been inseparable when they were younger. “We’ll have fun. If we don’t, then I’ll do everything I can to make it up to you.”

Claire smiled slightly and nodded to his suggestion. “I like that idea,” she mused in a sing-song voice before she shifted to bury her face against him, closing her eyes as she relaxed fairly easily. “Where is this place? Or are you going to keep it a secret from me?” It would make sense if he chose the latter, she supposed, but she couldn’t help but wonder what the place was – where it was.

Marley smiled at him and nodded her head lightly. "Very special." It would be special to them both - but mostly for different reasons. He wouldn't know that though... Maybe he would just remember it without her. It would hurt her, but she wanted to show him. She wanted to go back to that place. "We will have fun - I'm sure we will." She promised, pecking his lips.

Ethan chuckled and nodded his head. "I like it too." He smiled as she shifted into him and he ran his hands over her back, liking holding her and relaxing with her. "It's going to be a secret. I like keeping it a secret because I want it to be special for you." He teased lightly and kissed her forehead gently.

Jon smiled at the mention of it and nodded to her words. "Of course we will," he mused quietly, moving to kiss her forehead as he held her close. "I'll make sure that we do, no matter what." Because she was important to him and he wanted to make sure that she was happy.

Claire smiled slightly to his words and nodded. "I guess I don't have much choice in the matter, huh?" she asked jokingly before she let herself relax. She knew it was getting late, though, and that her parents would be back from the catch-up dinner with his parents soon.

Marley giggled and nodded her head. "You don't have to worry too much about it - I always have fun when I'm with you." She whispered happily and cuddled into him, leaning her head on his shoulder. "As long as I'm with you, I'll be happy."

Ethan smirked and shook his head. "Nope - you have no choice. No choice at all - it's all my choice!" He winked lightly and kissed her cheek. He sighed and leaned back, relaxing with her. "Man, our parents are really taking their time catching up, hmm?"

Jon smiled to her words and nodded. "Good," he murmured before hugging her close to himself, resting his head against hers as he relaxed with her. "I'm glad that I make you that happy." It made him wonder if it had always been like that. He wished he could remember.

Claire giggled quietly before rolling her eyes a bit. "That's hardly fair," she joked before relaxing and nodding. "Well, can you blame them? They have a lot to catch up on?" Shrugging, she closed her eyes, perfectly content and relaxed there.

Marley smiled lightly and nodded his head. "I know... Me too... And I'm glad that we worked this all out... I thought you would hate me forever and I would never get you back..." She blushed lightly and cuddled into his side so softly. Tonight turned out to be perfect.

Ethan smiled and shrugged. "Sorry - can't help it!" He teased her and kissed her quickly. "I know... More or less than we had to catch up on, you think?" He asked her teasingly, holding her in his arms. It seemed like they had a lot to catch up on... It was crazy.

Jon nodded as he held her close before burying his face in her hair. "That would never happen," he whispered, "Even when I thought you were crazy, I still wanted to talk to you." And it was true; he had been curious about the girl, not understanding how she knew so much about him. "I'm glad things are cleared up now, though."

Claire smiled slightly up at him before she closed her eyes and rested her head against his shoulder. "They probably have a lot more to catch up on," she murmured honestly, knowing that she couldn't exactly 'catch up' with Ethan due to him not remembering her. Either way, she was still happy.

Marley giggled lightly and nodded. "Me too - I'm so glad that's all cleared up!" She said happily and kissed his cheek, holding him tightly to her. He made her heart pound like crazy... The words he spoke were so good... And she hoped that he was actually telling the truth.

Ethan smiled a little at her and nodded his head. "Oh right... I guess that's sorta my fault, isn't it?" He asked her teasingly. He did feel bad about it though. He should've remembered her... He was sure he had always had feelings for her - why didn't he remember it?

Jon smiled and nodded to her words as he held her closer to himself. It was hard to believe how easily it was to be this happy with just having her close to him. "At least we can focus on us now," he decided quietly, though part of him wanted to focus on regaining his memories as well - more for Marley's sake than his own.

Claire offered a small, almost sad smile to him and shook her head. "It's not your fault," she assured him before closing her eyes and resting her head against his shoulder. "Let's not think about it anymore, though, okay?" She didn't want him to feel bad or guilty for forgetting, after all.

Marley smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah - focus on us." She said happily and then pecked his lips. She was glad she was able to be with him. Their past didn't matter as much as their now did to her and she was just glad that they had a now and a future. It was so good.

Ethan smiled and kissed her cheek happily. "You say that, but i don't know. Are you sure? Are you sure you're okay that I don't remember it all...? Because I'm not sure that I'm okay with it. I'm not - I hate myself for it!" He frowned.
