There's No Place Like Home

Morgan felt herself blushing madly as she realized what she had done. What she realized even more was that she had meant to do it... With everything in her, she had wanted that contact between his skin and her lips, and after having it her body was on fire! "Yes, I guess it was," she said weakly, fueling the fire of her blush.

Chris frowned a little as he looked at her. He could tell by the uncertainty in her face that she wasn't so sure of this place yet. "What?" He asked, after she uttered a simple 'oh.' "Are you not satisfied yet? Tell me what you want - i could do anything for you."

Tyler smiled slightly and nodded, taking notice of the blush on her cheeks. Leaning over, he pressed his lips to her forehead, hoping that it would express his attraction to her. "Well, unexpected things are usually the best," he told her softly; after all, it was unexpected that such a wonderful girl would randomly show up from another universe, yet it seemed to be the best thing in the world to him.

Leigha shook her head quickly at his words. "It's not about satisfaction, Chris," she muttered softly. "How can somebody not be satisfied with this place?" She let out a sigh, feeling rather horrid over her own behavior. Why couldn't she just let herself be happy here, instead of worrying about home? "It's just that this isn't home. That's all."

Morgan smiled at the way that Tyler's lips touched her forehead. It felt so soft, and she enjoyed the way that it made her heart beat faster. "Yes, I think they are!" Damn, she was really falling for him... She bit her lip nervously and looked away. She couldn't fall for him... They were from different worlds!

Chris sat beside her and grabbed her wrists so that she turned to face him. When he heard her words, it lifted his spirits...and then it crushed them all the more. "This could be home..." He said weakly. "I know it's not what you want, but I don't want you to be unhappy here either." He frowned and turned away from her, sighing.

Tyler smiled to her words, though frowned a bit when he noticed her look away. Had he taken it too far? Perhaps he had; he wasn't sure. "Are you okay?" he asked hesitantly, unsure of what really to do. He wasn't sure if her sudden nervousness was because of him or something else. That made him realize something: what if she had a boyfriend back home? Had he really just ruined whatever was between them?

Leigha listened silently as she let her eyes cast downward. After a moment, she moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around one of his arms, resting her forehead against his shoulder. "I'm sorry," she murmured quietly, "I didn't mean to upset you." She knew that she liked him, more than she'd care to admit, but she also knew that liking him would only get the both of them hurt in the end.

Morgan noticed the frown and nodded her head. "I'm fine," she said in a weak voice, trying to convince him. "I was just thinking about home...and here... It's all so overwhelming right now." The only thing that seemed right in this world was Tyler, and that could only be temporary... Someday they would be going home. She couldn't let herself get attached - even if she wanted that more than anything.

Chris was slightly at the sort of embrace that she rested against him. He didn't know if she considered it an embrace, but this was the closest they had ever been...and he really liked it. "You didn't upset me!" He said, running a hand through her hair before he rested the side of his head against the top of her head. "I just want you to be happy... Whatever I can do to make you happy..."

Tyler nodded slowly to her words, letting himself absorb them. He wished it hadn't have been this way, that she would have just been born into Telous, rather than that Earth that she was from. Then, things wouldn't be this complicated. Reaching a hand out, he brushed a few strands of hair away from her face, tucking them behind her ear softly. "Don't think about home," he murmured softly, a slight desperation in his voice.

Leigha closed her eyes as she let herself relax for the time being. "I think I'm as happy as I'm going to get," she told him softly. She couldn't allow herself to be any happier here. She couldn't keep falling for him and she couldn't grow attached to this place. It wasn't where she belonged. She kept telling herself this, despite still being as close to him as she was. Uncertainty overwhelmed her and she didn't know what to do.

Morgan sighed a little and fell back against the bed. All of this tension just made her want to cry. She had this sinking feeling of falling for Tyler, and a problem that she was in a world that wasnt her own - and she was bound to have to go home sooner or later. "And what should I think about, Ty?" She asked in a pained voice. He seemed good to be comforting her right now... He made her feel giddy and happy inside.

Chris sighed exasperatedly and shook his head in dismay. Why couldn't he make her seem happy here? He wanted to convince her that he would take care of her... That she belonged here. "Just give it time," he promised, "I'm sure I can make you even happier than you think you can be here, Leigha." He knew she was determined not to fall, but maybe he could get her to.

Tyler frowned at the pain in her voice as he moved to lay down beside her. "You should think about what would truly make you happy," he told her softly, "Would returning home really make you happy? Or would you rather stay here with me and all the wonderful things in Telous?" He hoped his words wouldn't cause her more stress. He just wanted her to know that she did have a choice, as far as they knew, but he didn't want her to choose something that wouldn't make her happy.

Leigha sighed softly to his words, but offered little more of a response. What could she say to that when she wasn't even sure what she really wanted anymore? Not only did she want to go home, but now she wanted to stay and be with Chris. Her choices were limited, but she didn't know which was better for her in the end. "We'll see," she muttered softly, figuring that it was the only response that she could really offer at this point.

Morgan turned on her side to look at him and sniffled a little with the nonexistent tears that she wouldn't let fall. The words "with me" made her heart start beating like crazy, but she didn't even know if she was interpreting it correctly. "What do you mean with me?" She asked softly. She knew what she wanted it to mean... She didn't know what would come of it, but at least it could be out there...

Chris sighed and wrapped an arm around her tightly, wishing he could give her the best option - but also knowing that his choice would be slightly biased as well. To her words, he smiled and nodded his head. "No, you'll see," he promised. "I promise to show you why you should stay here in Telous... And then you can make your decision. I'll make it easy for you."

Tyler offered a smile to her words, soon wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. He didn't care about being cautious right now - not when he was trying to prove a point. "I mean, with me," he told her softly, "In any way that you see fit, I want to be near you. Whether that's just as the guard that I'm supposed to be or as something more."

Leigha offered a small, hesitant smile before she let herself relax against him. She might as well enjoy this contact while she could, right? "Well, good luck, then," she murmured quietly, wondering if he really would be able to get her to choose this place, rather than home.

Morgan gulped as he slid closer to her and nodded her head. As much as she hated to admit it, she liked hearing those words... That meant that he was probably feeling the same attraction to her as she was! "I understand," she said as his arm went around her. "I don't know what that means yet..."

Chris smiled and nodded his head. "I don't need luck!" He teased, knowing she was rather skeptical of him. "I will show you that I can make you much happier than you could ever be on your earth!" He knew it sounded harsh, but it was true. He would make her happy... He would make her never want to leave.

Tyler smiled slightly before he nodded. "You will understand," he told her softly before resting his forehead against hers, needing that closeness between them. "I'll make sure of it." He was going to do his best to get her to choose him and Telous over Earth. There was no way Earth could beat what he had to offer.

Leigha offered a small, hesitant smile before she rolled her eyes slightly. "You're so sure of yourself," she murmured quietly. It was an attractive thing, in her opinion, though she hoped he wasn't overconfident in himself. Overconfidence wasn't nearly as attractive.

Morgan giggled and smiled weakly. There was something about him that made her want to accept right away, but that wasn't a good thing either. She needed to think rationally about this... The closeness was intoxicating, so all she could do was nod her head to him. She knew it would be enough too.

Chris heard her words and smirked lightly before disagreeing. "I am not so sure of myself," he responded. "I am terrified that what I have to offer you isn't as great as what earth has for you. I am physically and painfully terrified of something like the happening." He sighed, holding onto her.

Tyler smiled slightly when he saw the nod and was tempted to hold her even closer to himself, wanting to have her as close to himself as possible. He stopped himself, though, figuring that there was no need to press his luck with this - not when he was still trying to convince her to want to stay there. "You'll love it here," he murmured softly, "I'm sure of it."

Leigha blinked a few times, wondering why he thought things like that. She gave a small smile, though, and relaxed against him. "Well, don't think like that," she murmured softly, "There's no guarantee that I'll even have a choice after all." There was, after all, the possibility that they wouldn't be able to return home.

Morgan bit her lip, trying not to smile as they sat so close to one another. It was making her heart beat speed up, and she was desperately trying to stop her mind from thinking about kissing him, but she just couldn't. "How can you be so sure?" She asked softly, giggling. "I'm kinda hard to please!"

Chris sighed and nodded his head. He wasn't exactly thrilled with her answer. Even if she was stuck here, he was hoping she wouldn't be too upset... That would give him more time with her! But she seemed to not enjoy the thought very much... "No, there's not," he said weakly, "but if there is, I want you to choose here."

Tyler grinned as he shrugged. "Because I won't give up until I'm sure that you're completely happy," he mused softly, running his fingers through her hair gently. Being this close to her tempted him far more than he had been aware was possible. Something about her was just so intoxicating and lovable.

Leigha closed her eyes as she let out a sigh. She wasn't sure what to say, because she almost wanted herself to choose here as well - not because of the place, but because of him. She pushed the thought aside, though, knowing that it would only bother them both more. "We'll just have to wait and see," she murmured.

Morgan giggled softly, biting her lip as her eyes slipped shut to the feeling of his fingers in her hair. She always liked when people played with her hair - especially when those people were so good looking. She leaned into him. "Fine, if you say so..." She said weakly, "I'm sure you'll get sick of me!"

Chris shook his head again at her response and then fell backwards onto the bed, pulling her down with him. "You will see," he promised softly. "I'll make you happy here and you won't ever want to leave!" He chuckled slightly at the thought of holding onto her like that. It would be amazing...

Tyler smiled slightly, his arm wrapped around her as his other hand continued playing with her hair. "There's no way I would ever get sick of you," he assured with a grin. He was completely sure of it; he already adored her and there was nothing that could ever possibly change that. Everything about her was just perfect.

Leigha giggled quietly as she found herself curling up against him, despite how she was mentally scolding herself not to. She was falling for him and she wasn't sure whether it would end up being a good or bad thing. "You're so determined," she murmured in a teasing tone.

Morgan's heart was beating wildly as they sat together like this. It felt so intimate - what with his fingers playing with his hair and his other hand pulling her closer. She was trying to resist the way that he was making her feel, but she seriously couldn't... "I don't know," she said softly, "I guess we'll just have to see about that."

Chris smiled. He could tell that Leigha was sliding even closer to him and he really liked it... That meant that maybe she was having as much of these feelings as he was! He turned to kiss her forehead and just shrugged to her teasing. "Well, yes!" He teased. "And it won't be that hard," he glanced down at the way that she curled into him. "You'll see!"

Tyler smiled slightly to her words before moving to where they were both laying down, his fingers still playing with her hair. "No, you'll see," he told her softly. He was far more determined about this than he had been anything else before and there was no way that he would give up.

Leigha offered a small smile, rolling her eyes in the slightly. "Okay," she murmured quietly, a light blush on her cheeks. She refrained from saying anything else, too concentrated on trying to get rid of the blush now. Closing her eyes, she let out a slight sigh of content, honestly enjoying his presence.
