    Summary:
She was a sinner but so were other people. The only difference between her and them was the willingness to repent. They were considered as wolves preying on God's precious flock. And as to repent for her sins, it was up to her as His faithful servant to eradicate those wolves from the face of the Earth.

She would graciously give them atonement for their sins.

    Excerpt:
He considered himself as a god and acted that way. But he was no god - nor would he ever be one.

There was no use for people like him in the world. He must be eradicated from the Lord's flock and it was up to her to deliver his atonement.

Summary: The actually summary is on the story but it boils down to Ian being dead for 15 odd years, Sean has been alive 15 odd years. Sean and his family (older sister and younger brother) move into Ian’s old home after their parents were killed, and things escalate into a nightmare. Sean is plagued by nightmares and visions of the dead Ian while Stella’s new boyfriend, Aled, hits their younger brother, Jay. Things go wrong with Sean’s boyfriend, and as soon as it sorts itself out, he winds up having sex with a dead boy. Just a few chapters left until it’s done.

    Excerpt:
My mind began to wonder like a lost puppy. I found myself imaging a dark house that creaked. At the top of the stairs Ian stood waiting, slightly less blood soaked though as neglected as ever. His greasy hair stood on all ends and his frame was so skinny he couldn't hold himself upright. He coaxed my wondering puppy-like mind up the stairs to him, where he crouched on all fours and ran a bony hand along smooth fur. He smiled and chuckled as the dog rubbed its back against his hand. It felt so real, so vivid, I could almost feel his hands brushing through my hair. The puppy rolled onto it's back, legs in the air, tail wagging. Ian smiled and tickled its belly, laughing as it wiggled in appreciation. Ian looked down and sighed. "They'd never let me keep you." his soft voice was melancholic and lost. "But then again, you probably don't want to come and play, do you, Sean?" His eyes filled with mischievous tint and the puppy had gone. Instead, I lay where the puppy had been, Ian's hands on my stomach. Sudden desperations burst inside my stomach. I wanted to be away from him in fear of my life, but I wanted him to touch me some more. Maybe we should play a little game sometime. Just you and me." His voice was too sexy to be real. His hands began to make spider like motions up my chest to my throat. Suddenly he grabbed me and his gorgeous face became a blur. "A little game that only one can win."

Summary: They nicknamed her Bambi because she reminded them of innocence and childhood and because she had these big doe eyes, she didn’t really mind the nickname, she knew from a young age she was a strange child, she would talk to shadows and things people couldn’t really see.

Bambi never stopped believing, she believed that when she slept fairies would dance across her nose, she believed that dragons guarded castles and she believed that ghosts waked the earth, she believed because she didn’t want to face the alternative.

No one is really sure of Bambi’s name and no one has really bothered to get to know it because Bambi is strange and no one likes strange little girls.

Excerpt: Bambi was seven when it started, at first he would just come and talk to her, say sweet little things and whisper compliments into her hair, she didn’t really understand it was wrong, she thought he was just being an uncle. When she was 7 and three quarters he climbed into bed with her, she tensed at his touch but he did not stop. When she was 10 he took her innocence, Bambi would squeeze her eyes close as tight as she could and picture pretty things, her uncle was a dragon and she was a princess just waiting to be saved.

Bambi is 16 and still waiting for her knight in shinning armor, although the dragon has gone away the memories still haunt her. Bambi is fidgety and needs to get out, she needs some air, the room is too small and she cannot breath. Bambi hates herself for remembering, she hates herself more than anyone else, why can’t she just think of pretty things like tulips blossoming and butterflies flying high above her, it is okay now, she feels better. Bambi smiles, she is happy thinking of pretty butterflies.

Summary: Sometimes, something's too good to be true. Other times, the sky can cave in because it's not even bad; it's unthinkable. But it happens.
Excerpt: They were big, brown doe eyes. The type of brown that somebody drowned in. Eyes that gave away everything the owner wanted them to, and not an emotion more. The girl who possessed these eyes was letting her emotions out. Hurt, confusion, a sense of falling that she didn't quite understand. He, however, understood it perfectly. She was lost.

Story Type: Fan Fiction | Paramore | Hayley Williams and Josh Farro
    Rating: PG-13
    Genre: Drama
    Status: Chaptered | Active

    Summary:
Josh Farro and Hayley Williams finally meet up after Josh listens to Paramore's fourth album.

    Excerpt:
Before he was really aware of what he was doing, he lifted a hand up and reached for it. His fingers gingerly touched it and when he did that, he immediately pulled his hand away and glanced around. Josh then shook his head and let out an exasperated sigh, wondering why he was acting as if he was committing a crime. All he was going to do was look at it. Just look.

After finally taking it away from the shelf, he held the plastic case in his two hands, yet only by his fingertips as he still felt like he couldn't fully touch the item. He stared at the faces again, but mostly focused on hers and he was unable to even look away. To get out of this ridiculous trance, he quickly turned the case over to look at the back, deciding to read over the track list. He read each song name slowly and mouthed them, but not too loud so other people could hear him.

So many things were going through his mind. This was really the first album without him and Zac. After that whole event of why the two brothers had left, there was no doubt that Paramore was going to address that. Just by reading the song titles, Josh could already tell it was going to be the main topic of some of them. He wondered what she could've written and then he started to wonder what the songs sounded like and how much their sound had changed. Would they sound any different and would they even sound good? Maybe they'd sound worse or even better than they did before. With all these thoughts filling up his head, he knew he couldn't just put the CD back down and walk away like it was nothing because he was now curious. He had already formed these questions and the only way for him to find the answers was to listen to this album.

    Sam broke her heart.
    Completely and thoroughly destroyed her.

There was nothing special about Alex.
He just happened to be at the right party.
After she had indulged in just the right amount of alcohol.

Excerpt:He grinned broadly and took a sip of his water, before leaning forward. “Look,” he said, “I'll tell you what, forget the fan meet-up thing tomorrow, I'll help you write. You and me. We already tried late-night, whiskey-induced writing; we'll try something else this time.”

“You'd do that for me?” Dash asked, smiling softly at the boy sitting across from her. Alex laid his hands on the table.

“We were just through this. I would do anything for you, McCafferty.”

She reached forward, taking one of Alex's hands in her own. “Sometimes I really don't know what I'd do without you.”

    Summary:

It's July, 2003 and the weather is picture perfect. Children indulge in their freedom from school while parents are enjoying the season that they can be carefree with where their children are. But then the sun went down and the small town of Holly Grove will never be the same again.

Seven seemingly unconnected murders were committed between the hours of nine pm and four am while the moon was high and the streets were dark. Police were left baffled in the morning with no leads, no evidence and no clues. Was it a work of one serial killer or were there several killers at large in this small town? No one knew and after a few months, everything went back to normal and front doors began staying unlocked. That is, until the same night in 2004 came around and seven more bodies were found come morning.

Surely the police would catch a bold killer? Unfortunately, that isn't the case as Holly Grove's local police force remains clueless as to who is behind these seemly random brutal attacks. And when the night approached the next year, the town waited in anticipation to see whether the same fate would strike, and unluckily for the seven victims, it did.

Which brings us to July 23, 2012, just four days after the ninth annual attack that has left this town rocked to its core. The police are still lacking a perpetrator which leaves a nasty taste in the families of the victims, and begs the question: When are the police going to start doing their job?

    Excerpt:

“Nate, for the love of God, can you please stop the ridiculous noise. I’m trying to write lesson plans,” she said, voice weary. Nathan’s grin grew wider still and he pulled his plectrum through the remaining strings, letting out a short laugh as he did so.

“That sound, Robyn? I’m afraid I can’t, I’m too busy prac--”

“Practising for your future career as Herman Li? No offense, Nathan, but you’re not exactly sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, are you?” Robyn interjected, crossing her arms firmly. “In ten years, all you’ve managed to gain is a nicotine addiction.”

    Summary

I wasn’t Alana Quinn when I put on my tiger suit. I was Crispy the Tiger, mascot for Woodward High School and all of the teams associated with us.

    I was somebody.

Nobody knew it was me in that suit, prancing around like an idiot for the sake of pumping up the crowds for whatever sporting event I was stationed to be at.

I guess that’s why they always gave the mascots a beating; nobody knew who was in the costume and it was just an anonymous way of pounding the snot out of a random person. “It’s tradition,” I was told.

Julian, the old Crispy, told me the same thing, but I assumed the beatings went deeper than that. There was an underlying reason for why the football players and swim team and golf team and even the baseball team felt the need to tie me up before every game and pound the cushiony cotton belly of Crispy until I couldn’t feel my stomach.

But Julian never really said why. I guess every school has its secrets.

    Excerpt

And we didn’t talk again. We just went to our locker room, on opposite sides of the girls’. I changed clothes and put my stinky sweaty gym shirt and shorts into a plastic bag, taking them home to wash them over the weekend. Suddenly I didn’t feel like talking to anybody for the rest of the day, not even my bus driver, who said hello to me when I got on the bus that afternoon. Not even Mom, when she got home from working on the newspaper during her day shift.

    Excerpt:

"He lowered himself into the water. The underwater sensation calmed him down as the beast flashed again in his mind. This was the fifth time this week. The nightmares were never-ending. His last supposed night on earth scarred him as he rose up for air above the surface. Gasping for his last breaths of life." - Prince Alexander III

"All right, all right so we don't have to actually kill someone," Lesley relented. "But we could make them think we're going to kill them."

"Like a practical joke?" I asked, abandoning my doodles. Lesley nodded enthusiastically. "What do you say, guys? It could be fun, right?"

Summary: Andy was the beautiful, dead boy who became my best friend...
    Excerpt:
    Quote
The mortician continued to hum some classical song while he worked over Andy's body, getting it ready for the funeral tomorrow. I glanced over at him, and sighed. He looked nothing like Andy.

They put him in a black suit and a white button down shirt that had a snug collar to hide the tattoos on his neck. The mortician did not plan to color eyeliner around his eyes or unbutton the first seven buttons of his shirt for a more 'Andy' look. He came to dab more of the already excessive blush of the wrong shade onto his cheeks, contouring them at the wrong angle, so he looked like his cheeks were blocks.

With a nod, the mortician left the room. He looked like he was half blind, actually...

"Why are we here?" I hissed when he'd left. Andy released me, and with a wicked grin, he pulled out a bottle of liquid eyeliner from his pocket. "Coloring," he answered.

"What?! No, you can't! Do you not think he will notice?!" I shouted at him under my breath.

"He won't," Andy responded confidently. "He's done working for tonight. Someone will be here in fifteen minutes to move my body to the morgue again. And we'll go ahead and shut the lid, no one will look in on old Andy until tomorrow." He told me confidently, patting the cheek of his corpse fondly.

He went without hesitation to the edge of the coffin, leaning over himself. He sighed in almost relish as he whipped out the wand, and began to color curvature lines around his own eyes with a great skill level.

"You got a towel or something?" he asked a couple minutes later without looking up.

"Will this work?" I asked, pulling a tissue from the box beside the coffin.

"We're going to need a lot more than one..." He sighed as he worked. "They did a number on me. Like, a whole inch of concealer, what a damn mess. Hand me the whole box."

I tossed it to him, and he went to work wiping down his cheeks and forehead, recreating himself.

After he'd wiped off most of the concealer, he produced several other pieces of stolen makeup. Stolen from my room, might I add. He redid the cheek contouring, and got rid of the blush altogether. His forehead crushed up in concentration as he worked.

After the makeup was done, he stretched his hands before ruffling up his sleek haircut, how it'd been combed over strategically to make it look like he hadn't shaved half his head, and that he actually had a full head of hair.

"There." He grinned, stepping back to admire his work. "Oops, one more thing."

He reached up to his ears and pulled out the cross earrings, and bent over the body to apply them. Now the face of the body looked like him. Unfortunately, the suit didn't match the rest. Andy shrugged, happy enough that he got to modify himself to a recognizable state.

"All right, I think we're done here. Help me with this?" he asked as he pulled down the coffin lid. I placed my palms under the lid and helped him lower it silently.

Summary: Jobie Newsome lives in a quiet rural town where nothing ever happens. She's spent her whole life waiting for something--anything--interesting to happen to her. By the time the summer of her 17th year hits, she's given up. But then things start to change. Then, her mother's boyfriend's son and daughter come to live with them for the summer and start taking up space in her house. Their mischievous nature pushes Jobie into more adventures than she's used to taking. Along with her best friend Sam and their mutual friend Gary, Jobie sets off to become somebody she's always wanted to be. But first, she has to figure out who that is.

Excerpt: The summer I was sixteen, I decided to give up on the idea of something interesting ever happening to me. Everybody I knew had some kind of exciting story or other to tell and here I was with nothing to contribute. I'd never won a prize for being the seventh caller on the radio; I'd never gotten to go to Disney World; my Mama had never even gotten the Pick 3 numbers. The closest thing to interesting I had to share was that my name was supposed to be Jodie, but Mama wrote the D backwards on the birth certificate because she was a little bit dyslexic. When the nurse read it out loud, Daddy thought it was too adorable to change. I wasn't inclined to agree, but you gotta' take what you get sometimes.

Sometimes when I look up, I see scraps of blue

    instead of orange

and, for a moment, I remember my same eyes looking up at the same sky and seeing white clouds and light smudges that mapped the trajectory of planes.

I was obsessed - obsessed with the feeling of flight and the people in the round boxes heading to places I wanted to go too. I always looked up at the blue and white sky and hoped for planes - hoped for travel and new lands.

But the world always rights itself, and now when I look up I am reminded of two things:

    1) this sky is not blue, and

    2) I found a world where no one could go.

Excerpt:Wren’s frown deepens, her eyebrows close together. “Who’s here?”

Anita grins – it’s the same kind of grin her parents give when they’re enthralled in something, excited by something they’ve been studying their entire lives. Anita grins like them, smiles like she’s found something that made coming to this place worthwhile. When Wren’s parents find something, they’re called discoveries. When soldiers find something in the woods, they’re called refugees.

“Lusbei,” Anita says, naming one of the three peoples in this world. One of the three in the middle of a war that nobody understands. One of the three who haven’t made contact in almost eight years. One of two territories in this dimension that want the humans killed for the sake of self-survival. “Lusbei,” Anita says again. “There are Lusbei here, Wren.”

If Spring lasted all year, its beauty would vanish and he would no longer feel the joy of her arrival or the butterflies in his heart when the first soft pink flower started to blossom in his cherry tree. If all moments were equally beautiful, how would he experience the most beautiful moment in life?

    Title: Eco Knight
    Author: Autumn Berend
    Story Type: Original Fiction
    Rating: PG-13
Genre: Fantasy, action, adventure and thriller.
    Status: Ongoing
Summary: After an extremely priceless and dangerous item is stolen from the capital, the Eco Knights, a force of magic users that use a source called pneuma, deploy their elite team to track down the items thieves and bring it back. However, things turn for the worst as what is assumed to be a short mission ends up beings a dangerous mission going farther than expected.
    Excerpt:
Hunters hardly spoke to one another on missions, as tracking was their job, and that includes having to be silent, waiting, and tracking your prey. It was very much like hunting for game, but for humans or monsters. It was partially why I am not as talkative as the other Seekers, because I adopted that trait of the Hunters.
