Through Thick and Blood

Kenah glanced at her family and instantly began to tremble. "Mom? Dad?" She asked. "What's going on here?" She refused to look at the man around her age who was taking her away from here... She didn't understand how her parents were okay with this. "You have to go with him, sweetheart," her mother said and Kenah rushed forward to hug them, her own eyes filling with tears.

Aidan smirked as he saw the girl and he instantly licked his lips. He was in desperate need of a drink after all of this fighting, but he'd get her home and situated first... "Kaycie," he said in a voice that showed his blood lust, "you're coming to live with me from now on!" He said with a strong smirk. "I'll give you ten minutes to pack what is essential and say your goodbyes, no longer."

Xander sighed in annoyance as he watched the scene play out. It really was pathetic, in his opinion. Then again, he just didn't understand human behavior, anyways, so he supposed it didn't really matter. "Unless you want to live the rest of your life in those clothes, I suggest you go and pack," he said, shaking his head slightly. "The clock's ticking and I'm sure we all have better things to do than be bothered with this."

Kayce frowned deeply at his words. Despite the fact that she was trying to seem strong on the outside, on the inside she was slowly crumbling down. How could this man possibly wish to tear her away from her family? It wasn't fair. Looking to her parents, she rushed over to them and wrapped her arms tightly around them. "Don't make me go with him," she pleaded quietly, her voice cracking. "Dear, we have no choice," her mother said, the tears streaming down the woman's face.

Kenah looked at him as if he was the worst thing in the world when he urged her to go pack and part of her wanted to say no - but he still scared her enough that she didn't want to do that. She hugged her mother tightly and then her father before she walked skimpishly past him. She packed clothing and some of her favorite notebooks to sketch in...other than that, was this the last time that she would ever see this room? She went back downstairs, having to face him again.

Aidan felt no compassion whatsoever but only rolled his eyes at this pity party. That was the problem with humans...everything was always do dramatic! To praise their dramatic scene, he clapped as if giving a slow applause and shook his head. "Come on, let's get this pity party moving!" He said. "Go get packed or we can surely leave with nothing of yours."

Xander smirked a bit once she had returned, having been relaxing against the wall at that time. Looking over at her, he said, "Let's go." There was no more need for any more goodbyes, after all. Without another word, he turned towards the door, waving his hand over his shoulder to gesture for her to follow him as he left the house. With all the overdramatic reactions - at least, in his opinion, they were, - he was ready to get to his home with her and get her situated, his hunger growing with each moment.

Kaycie froze at his words, her eyes widening as she looked over at him. He had to be some psycho for not even allowing her to enjoy the last few moments that she had with her parents. After receiving a few last hugs from her parents, she quickly walked past him, not wanting to be in his presence any longer, and made her way to her room. She packed some clothes, not wanting to take much else, before she made her way back downstairs, her bag in hand.

Kenah grimaced at him and more tears fell from her eyes as he ordered her to go. She didn't understand why he was doing this - or why he was so terrifying to her - and she wished she could stop herself from going... His little gesture of power over her was enough to stop her from fighting and she followed him out of the house with a weak goodbye to her parents.

Aidan's hunger was going... Getting to the point of painful when she walked by and he could smell that sweet blood coursing through her veins. It made him lick his lips and he looked over at her parents with a devilish grin. When she descended the stairs, he took the bag from her. "We must be going," he ordered and turned on his heel, expecting her to follow him.

Xander smirked slightly when he took notice that she was following him without complaint. Of course, he knew that she was probably resenting him by now, but he honestly didn't care. All he cared about was the blood that she would be providing him from now on. Leading the way through the streets, he headed towards his home, knowing that she'd be following him. It felt like the walk was taking longer than usual, but he knew it was because of his hunger.

Kaycie wiped at the tears that were threatening to fall again. She didn't want to follow him, but knew she had no other choice. It was likely that he'd kill her if she didn't follow, after all, right? She wasn't sure, but she wouldn't put it past him. Giving one last glance to her parents, she let her eyes cast downwards before she started following him silently.

Kenah followed behind him slowly, all the while hanging her head to hide the tears that were rushing down her cheeks. She wished she could just duck into a bush and hide, but she couldn't... He would probably kill her or something for it. When they got closer to the house, she could tell since he started walking slower, closer to her. "What do you want from me?" She asked in a weak, pleading voice.

Aidan walked in front of her, every once and a while turning to look at her. He couldn't do it very often though, because his thirst was killing him.. He wanted nothing more than to just give into the blood lust and drink from her now, but he wanted to get her in the comfort of his own home first. When he got to the long drive, he turned and licked his lips as he waited for her. "Welcome home," he said in a snarky voice.

Xander smirked as he turned to face her, stopping where he stood. Lifting a hand, he brushed her hair away from her neck and pressed his index finger to the vein that her skin was hiding. "What I want is rather simple," he said simply before he leaned in closer to her ear, lowering his voice to a whisper, "I want your warm, delicious, addictive blood." With the smirk still on his face, he moved away and led the way up to his house, opening the door and gesturing for her to go inside.

Kaycie stared up at the house, not understanding how a house could feel so threatening. Looking over at him, she frowned, trying to ignore the lump in her throat. "This isn't my home," she muttered out, trying to sound strong, but she only sounded timid. She tried her best to ignore that, though, not wanting to think about it.

Kenah's breathing caught as she heard his words and she panted slightly, shaking her head in disbelief. "No!" She pleaded softly. "Don't touch me... Anything... Just leave me alone!" She cried again as he started to walk away from her. Of course, there was no way out of this. "You're a monster!" She screamed at him as they got inside and she tried to run into another room.

Aidan smiled over at her and leaned in to teasingly kiss her forehead, the smell of her blood beneath the skin driving him crazy. "You'll get used to it," he assured softly. "I'll make sure of that." Then he sighed under his breath as he led her inside. "So good. I need it."

Xander sighed in annoyance at her words before he quickly chased after her, his speed allowing him to appear in front of her within seconds. Gripping her arms, he offered a sinister smirk. "You do realize that if you run away, you anger me, and that anger only reinforced my bloodlust, yes? Even if you didn't know that, you know it now. Angering me or annoying me will only make me want to drink your blood all the more," he explained, able to feel the blood pumping through her veins with his grip on her.

Kaycie whimpered softly at the feeling of him kissing her forehead, closing her eyes tightly. She didn't understand what he was talking about when he said that he needed something. "What do you need?" she asked, her fear obvious in her voice as she stared at him, her eyes reflecting the fear inside. Why couldn't he just leave her alone and let her go back to her family? She hated him.

Kenah could feel her heart beating like crazy and she really wished it would stop. She knew it was going to make it worse and she wanted to avoid making him bite her - at all costs. She started to sob a little again and she shook her head, beginning to try and yank away from him. "No - please no!" She cried out. "I'll give you anything else, just don't do that!"

Aidan turned back to see her shivering and smirked a little. He knew she was scared, but a little bite would fix all of that... Blood lust was like sex for people - someday she would enjoy having him bite her all the time. Of course, it was still nothing more than a blood drinking relationship, no feelings involved, but she would enjoy it. He stepped closer to her. "Your blood." He said softly. "Mmm, I want to taste that sweet warm blood running through your veins right now." In his haste his fangs appeared and he smirked evilly.

"You misunderstand," Xander stated with a wicked grin, "The only thing I want from you is your blood. Offering me anything else is just a waste of your time." His grin turned into a smirk, the wickedness held in it still equivalent as he leaned his face towards her neck, able to smell the blood even through her skin. "There's no point in running, either. If you run, your parents die and I'll find you, anyways. Better to supply the blood and let your parents live, yes?"

Kaycie's eyes widened in pure fear as she quickly shook her head. "You're some crazy lunatic!" she yelled before she backed away towards the door of the house, wanting to get away. Maybe she could be inconspicuous and make a run for it by distracting him or something? She wasn't sure. But, she knew one thing for certain: she didn't want this psychopath to have any of her blood.

Kenah turned her head as the mediocrely-attractive face of his seemed to morph to a new wicked one. She couldn't look at him anymore... He seemed terrible and she hated him already. "Fine," she started to cry out, her lips starting to tremble. "Just get it over with and leave me alone!" She hated this... How had she come to be so unlucky?

Aidan chuckled and shook her head. "Oh, darling," he teased lightly, "don't think you can turn me away." He grabbed her wrists as she started to back up and he slammed her into the wall. "I've been lusting for your blood." He said in a wicked voice. He leaned against her and could smell her blood, licking his lips in want. "Oh, so good."

Xander grinned once she had given in to his wishes. "Good," he murmured before letting his fangs graze over the skin of her neck. Within moments, his fangs had sunken into the skin and he relished the taste of her blood as it filled his mouth. He knew it would likely hurt her - at least, for now. Soon, though, she'd grow to enjoy it completely.

Kaycie closed her eyes tightly as she tried to get out of his grasp. His voice sent fearful shivers down her spine and she wanted nothing more but to run and hide. A soft whimper came from her after hearing his words, the fear only growing. "Leave me alone!" she pleaded, though her voice cracked.

Kenah let out an aggravated yelp as his fangs cut into her. She couldn't do this... The pain was too much... She felt her legs giving way and she knew she would fall - or Xander would catch her with his tightly clung teeth. "Please," she managed to squeal out, but he knew it would be no good. This was her fate now.

Aidan's hand came up to caress her cheek in a not-so-loving way and he shook his head. "Darling, what part of this arrangement don't you understand?!" He asked angrily. "I get what I want, or I can make your life a living hell... Trust me - this wont be so bad!" He smirked, wanting to bite her now!

Xander smirked at the squeal that escaped her, though he made sure to hold her up, his hands under her elbows. He drank to his delight, enjoying the flavor that the blood provided. He doubted that he would ever find blood this good. Soon pulling away, he grinned broadly, licking the blood from his lips, having made sure not to take too much blood from her.

Kaycie flinched away from his hand, disliking how cold his hand felt against her skin. What other options did she have, really? It wasn't like she'd be able to get away from him at the moment - not with how close he was. Maybe she could just bide her time and then sneak out some time. "Fine," she murmured, her voice weak and reflecting her fear.

Kenah sat there weakly, hating the way his hands grasped her elbows, hating the way that his teeth dug into her neck. She quit trying to put up a fight though, knowing it would probably only make him drink her blood even more frequently and rampantly. When he pulled away, she shivered at the sight of her blood on his lips and began to cry. How could she live like this?!

Aidan smirked when Kaycie finally agreed. His finger felt over the throbbing vein in her neck as he tried to control himself for a moment... The suspense made it even better and he loved it. Then he just couldn't control himself and he bit into her, knowing it might hurt - but she would start to like it eventually. Damn, she tasted so good... It was like her blood was made for him.

Xander rolled his eyes at the sight of her tears, showing no sympathy. Still, he patted her head in approval of her blood. "Now, now. No crying. You might tempt me to snack later," he told her, figuring that the threat might make her calm down. Of course, he didn't plan on going through with that, knowing full well that he couldn't take too much from her at a time. Besides, constantly drinking from a human sometimes caused both the vampires and humans to grow attached and he wanted to avoid that.

Kaycie screamed out in pain, tears falling from her eyes. The pain was the only thing she could feel and it made her feel weak and sick and tired all at the same time. She wanted nothing more than to run away, now more than ever, but knew that she wouldn't be able to - not with the blood loss that she was going through.

Kenah gulped down her tears and turned the saltiness of them into acidic hate. At least if she couldn't be mopey, she would be extra angry and vicious to him... Maybe that would keep him away even more. She put her hands against his chest then and tried pushing him away. "Are you done?" She asked in a voice that wasnt as strong as she hoped it would be.

Aiden closed his eyes in pleasure as she screamed, completely tuning it out by the lust and want he was feeling. Blood lust was the most powerful, sexy thing he had ever felt. Her blood was absolutely beautiful, pure and sweet. He drank for a long time, pulling her closer, and then he pried his lips away, licking off the blood that was still on his lips.

"Little human, there's no need to be feisty," Xander said, an amused smile playing on his lips. Finally, he decided that he might as well make her stay here bearable - if only a little. "Come now. I'll show you to your room. If you can't stand, though, then I'll be forced to carry you. It's entirely your choice."

Kaycie fell to her knees at the sight of her blood on his lips, her hand pressing to the tender skin of her neck. She glared up at him, through the tears that had fallen while he had fed from her, her eyes reflecting nothing but hatred.
