Through Thick and Blood

Kenah felt him step away from her and fell to her knees instantly. He took a lot of her energy - and now she whimpered because he would have to carry her. She hated him for all of this. A room?! He might as well chain her... That was how she felt... She was no better than a cow for milk.

Aidan chuckled slightly as she fell to her knees and shook his head. He patted over her hair as she glared and shook his head at her. "Don't worry," he said in a baby voice. "You'll start to enjoy it sooner or later - there's no point in fighting it."

Xander smirked slightly before bending down to pick her up. Carrying her bridal style, he took her up to her room - one that was right beside his, in case she tried to run away at any point. Making his way into the room, he set her down on the comfortable bed.

Kaycie frowned deeply at his words and shook her head quickly. "Liar," she growled out, flinching away from him when he patted her on the head. Why could he just leave her alone? He was nothing but pure evil and it made her hate him all the more.

Kenah whimpered slightly when the vampire picked her up and she felt even more doomed then. The room was quaint and quiet and she had to admit it was nice... There were no windows though - probably so she couldn't leave. Made her wonder how many other girls had been trapped here before. The instant she was set down, she fell backwards onto the bed, exhausted.

Aidan took great pride in making her so bent out of shape. He knew she hated him, but she would learn to respect him... It was just the way of the world - the one her parents were now learning. "Oh, I don't lie!" He said with a wicked smirk. "You'll see."

Xander sighed softly, figuring that she was probably too weak to even pull the blanket over herself, so he did it for her. No reason to be cranky when he had such a delicious meal. He left the room without a word, making his way into his own room.

Kaycie shook her head quickly, though the action made her dizzy because of the blood loss. She felt exhausted and wanted to just curl up in a ball and disappear. How had she gotten stuck with this horrible person?

Kenah smiled weakly, just wanting to thank him for pulling the blanket over her when she was sensing a slight chill. That didn't mean she would forgive him... She never would. Instead, the last image she had was him leaving her room as her eyes slid closed, exhausted.

Aidan chuckled and just shook his head. He had to treat her right though, so he picked her up and took her upstairs to her new room. He laid her down on the bed, then kissing over the spot that was his healing fang marks. "This is your room, and mine is right across the hall!" He said, hoping it would scare her from doing anything stupid.

Xander sighed softly as he looked around his room. The windows were completely covered - both by several boards that kept out the light and thick black curtains. The room was darker than night itself, but because of his super-enhanced senses, he was able to see easily. Making his way to his bed, he sat down on it. Sunrise was still hours away and vampires didn't necessarily need sleep anyways, though they did prefer to rest while the sun was out.

Kaycie winced at the feeling of him kissing the fang marks, having feared that he would bite her again. Though, when he just left it at that, she simply frowned to his words, though she was too tired to respond. Instead, she managed to move to turn away from him, curling up to herself as she let her exhaustion take over.

Kenah slept, but only lightly. It terrified her that she was sleeping not far from a vampire who could come drink her blood at any time, but she was also too tired and out of it to care. Him drinking her blood made her feel so terrible and dizzy... She wasn't going to survive this! All she could do was keep tossing and turning, which only made her feel more sick to her stomach. She hoped she would have the day free - vampires couldn't be awake during the day, right?

Aidan heard the rustling as he walked away and turned to see her move to have her back to him. It made him chuckle and he just shook his head. He went to his own room then and sat down on the bed in the dark. It was nicer in the dark anyways. He just relaxed on the bed since he didn't need to sleep anyways - and now he had to also make sure that she wasn't going to get away or something.

Xander let out a sigh as he relaxed on the bed, soon moving to lie down as he stared up at the ceiling. The hours between morning and night were always the most boring to him - and, though he refused to admit it, it was also the most lonely of time. He ignored such thoughts, finding no reason to dwell on it. Instead, he simply focused on the good meal that he had, a smirk making its way to his lips.

Kaycie soon drifted off to sleep, her exhaustion overwhelming her. Throughout the night, she suffered from numerable nightmares and she kept waking up, breathing heavily as she tried to relax. She would return to sleep, only to wake up again each time after only a half hour or so. She hated being stuck in a reality nightmare more than she hated her dream nightmares.

When Kenah was finally resting again, she sat up groggily and groaned a little bit. It seemed remarkably quiet inside though, so she slid quietly out of the bed. Maybe she could get away while he was resting... Or maybe she could find some wood and stake him or something. Anything to get away. She tiptoed out of her room, holding her breath as she passed his.

Aidan sat back on the bed and thought about the girl. Her blood was so sweet - so desirable and beautiful. It was going to drive him crazy, yet he couldn't snack on her too often... If he did, there would be a blood connection, and he didn't want that. She was his snack, not a mate or anything. Sure, she would enjoy it at some point, but not to that point,

Xander could easily smell Kenah from his room and smirked slightly. "Go back to your room, human," he called from her room. He knew she would likely be too weak to actually be able to run, so it wasn't like she had any actual choice.

Kaycie had woken up several times, but stayed curled up in bed. Perhaps she could just gain the vampire's trust, then run away when the time was right. It sounded like the smartest option that she had and she couldn't come up with anything else, anyways.

Kenah shivered a little and felt her knees go weak again. She knew that she wouldn't have been able to get away. Why did she ever think that she could? She hated him but stepped into his room. Maybe if he trusted her she would be able to get away.

Aidan could sense her getting restless, but he didn't care enough to get up and comfort her... She wasn't here for her enjoyment - she was here for his and his alone. He chuckled a little to himself. He couldn't wait until she didn't fight him so much. That could make things much easier.

As the weeks passed, Xander had taken notice of how there were less attempts from the human girl to escape. He figured she had finally given up and had accepted that this was her life now, but he couldn't be certain. For the most part, though, he was just thankful that he didn't have to worry about watching her 24/7 anymore.

Kaycie sat on the bed in "her" room, staring around for a few moments. She had accepted that she couldn't constantly try to get away; the vampire kept too close an eye on her, after all. Instead, she simply decided to bide her time, gain his trust, then sneak away once he had loosened his attention on her.

Kenah sighed softly. She sat on her makeshift bed, rocking herself slightly. It had been a few weeks and she still wished she wasn't here. She wished she could go home... She hated Xander. She had worked to gain his trust and hadn't tried to hold her ground so she could get away when he least expected it. That was the best option.

Aidan was more satisfied with himself. He had had her for a few weeks now and she had quit trying to get. He was happy to have her. Her blood was so perfect - and he liked knowing that he had it at any time he wanted. He smiled lightly to himself. It was nice having a blood slave... She was good for it - and at least she was being better now.

Xander sighed to himself as he moved around his house. The house itself was hardly ever dirty, due to the fact that he was never really doing anything. It bored him, honestly, and he found himself debating on inviting a few friends over. He'd, of course, have to keep the human locked away in her room since he didn't want the others to try to take what was his - her blood.

Kaycie chewed on her lower lip, wondering how much longer she'd have to act like she was a good blood slave, how much longer it would take to gain his trust enough that she could manage to sneak away. With a sigh, she flopped back on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She hated this place and hated that stupid vampire.

Kenah was being a good girl for Xander. She wished to leave - or at least have company. Other than for her blood, he didn't want much from her...
She didn't mind that really, except that she felt lonely. She wasn't causing trouble... She wasn't doing much of anything. She wanted to get away. How much longer would she have to pretend?

Aidan had decided that Kaycie was being good enough. She wasn't much trouble so he chose to do it. He invited a few friends over. She wouldn't be around them since he didn't want the others taking any of the blood that was his but he had to trust her enough to be good while he wasn't always watching her. He was happy to do this finally. He could have some friends over... Show off that he had tamed a blood slave.

It didn't take long for word to get around to his friends that Xander was having a party. All it took was one call and, before he knew it, several people were piling into the house. They had all fed before coming, since he had told them to do so, as it would make it easier for them to control themselves with a human present, even if she was locked away. At least, he hoped they would control themselves, anyways.

Kaycie stood from the bed she was on and moved around on the floor, the boards creaking under her feet. She very rarely went out of the room, not wanting to run into the vampire, so she spent most of her time pacing the bedroom or staring at the ceiling. It wouldn't have been so bad if she had something to do... Or if that stupid vampire would just stop drinking her blood and let her go.
