Through Thick and Blood

  • Kenah knew there was something going on. Xander didn't tell her what was going on. Only to stay in her room. She would listen to that to some extent... At some point, she was going to go. She was going to try her escape - while he wasn't looking. It seemed like a good idea - and she would finally make her escape. She knew all the creaky places of the house... She could avoid them and her out silently.

Aidan was actually happy as his friends got there. He hadn't been visiting with anyone much while he was trying to control his blood slave but he trusted we enough now. As a precaution, he had the vampires feed before coming so he didn't have to worry about them - and he ordered her to stay in her room. Everything was going to go perfectly.

  • Xander eagerly greeted his friends when they were all piled into his living room. There weren't too many and there weren't too few. In his opinion, the amount of friends that had shown up was just perfect for a good party. Not to mention, the female vampires were always the most flirtatious and he didn't mind that he got hit on quite often by them.

Kaycie wasn't sure what was going on, but she could hear more than one person in the house. Knowing that Aidan would likely be distracted, she figured that she'd likely be able to sneak out of the house without being noticed. She could hope, at least. Making her way to the door, she opened it slightly, peering out for a moment, thankful that nobody was upstairs.

  • Kenah knew when they were busy downstairs. It was a loud commotion and she was thankful for the loudness that would hide any mistakes she made in the floorboard. She peered out the door as she opened it and knew she had to make her move. She needed to be long gone by the time he realized. She slipped down the stairs to the opposite side of the house. This was going to work...

Aidan was just happy to be able to relax from his hardships with Kaycie. Everyone there was aware he had a blood slave... But he was glad they didn't ask to see her since she wasn't always the most agreeable one. It was better for her to just be hidden and he relaxed with that fact.

  • Xander was busy chatting with one of the female vampires who was trying to hold his attention. He didn't mind, honestly, considering how it had been a while since he had managed to get any sort of alone time with anybody aside from Kenah - and she didn't offer much in the case of company.

Kaycie slowly opened the door, cringing at the slight creak it made, but the noise was blocked out by the loud party below. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out of the room, carefully making her way around to try to find a safe and easy way to sneak down and past Aidan and his friends.

  • Kenah smiled as she made it down the stairs. Almost there. It was so close. She could just get out of there easily and then she would make a run for it. She slipped out the door with ease. Now it was just getting away from there.

Aidan was just huddled with his friends. It was nice to have downtime from having to always pay attention to Kaycie and he was glad that he could trust her enough for him. And there were girls here too... That meant that he could flirt a little. Much more fun.
    October 15th, 2013 at 01:11am
  • Xander smirked slightly as he enjoyed the way the girl was flirting with him. He didn't even hesitate in flirting back, knowing that it was always fun to see how long it would take before the girl would just end up hooked. He hadn't even noticed Kenah's departure.

Kaycie silently crept down the stairs, thankful that she couldn't really spot Aidan in the crowd - which meant he likely wouldn't be able to spot her. Moving to the door, she twisted the knob carefully and stepped outside, closing the door quietly. She was almost home free.

  • Kenah looked in the window and saw him distracted so she smiled. This was perfect... She wished he would've invited female vampires over a while ago. He seemed perfectly distracted. "Good bye!" She whispered under her breath as she took off in a run.

Aidan was busy flirting. It had been a while since he had had a female companion and part of him wanted it. He smiled at all of the girls who seemed just as interested in him as he was of them. This seemed like a perfect night in his opinion.

  • Xander smirked slightly as he listened to the girl beside him whispering in his ear. Though he couldn't quite make out what she was saying due to how loud it was in the house, he didn't care, since he had a pretty good idea of what she was insinuating. The fact that she was whispering in such a seductive tone only gave Xander more of a reason to smirk, already tempted to just have his fun for the night.

Kaycie took a deep breath before she began rushing away from the house. She needed to get away quickly, before he took notice of her absence. She stumbled along the way, tripping and falling, having ended up scraping her knee pretty badly, to the point where blood began to rise, but she quickly stood back up and began running again, though it was harder now. Still, she needed to escape completely, so she refused to stop.

  • Kenah didn't know how she was working out so well. She was getting away - and it seemed to be a clear escape from that way. Then again, she tripped over a tree root - this stupid forest he lived in - and she ended up with a cut up her forearm. It wasn't a big deal - only that it was another second that she lost by being on the ground. She needed to get away. And quick.

Aidan had gotten comfortable with a female vampire with him. He was enjoying this. He wanted a touch... He wanted to be with a girl - other than the one that was in her room, only for her rushing, sweet blood. He smirked at her and smiled as she growled a little in his ear. He nodded his head, licking his lips. He wanted her.
    October 25th, 2013 at 02:54am
  • Xander smirked as he felt the female vampire at his side brush her fangs against his neck. It was such a simple seductive move and he had to admit that it was working in seducing him - not that he was complaining. Hell, he needed a little attention after being stuck in the house with that human, since he didn't trust her enough for him to leave her alone.

Kaycie could hear a pair of footsteps following after her. Almost afraid that it was Aidan, she quickly picked up her pace, ignoring the pain that shot through her leg. Had she sprained her ankle when she fell as well? Either way, she wasn't going to just stop, not with knowing that the blood on her knee might attract other vampires - or, worse yet, get Aidan's attention if his senses were strong enough.
    October 25th, 2013 at 03:01am
  • Kenah smiled lightly as she was getting away. At the same point, her arm was throbbing. It was bleeding quite heavily and she clutched it tightly as she ran, hoping to get away. She was afraid of it. What if he found her? What if any of those vampires there found her? But she was getting away, and she was sure she would be okay.

It wasn't Aidan that was noticing her. He had good senses, better than most, but he was busy. He was on the prowl for a girl - not blood - and he was ignoring everything else for that reason. It was at that time when another vampire there, who was hungry, smelled her. He growled and stalked out after her.
    October 25th, 2013 at 06:38pm
  • Xander was too busy enjoying the attention he was receiving to pay attention to anything else. He didn't even notice another vampire stalk out quickly, the vampire having caught the scent of Kenah's delicious blood. Despite that he had already fed, he couldn't help it; blood was a magnet for any vampire, full or starving, and he wanted to be the first to get to her.

Kaycie was trying to find her way through the area, but there was so much foliage that she couldn't tell which way was which. It made her so confused and she eventually just stuck with going straight, running as fast as her scraped legs would allow, just wanting to get away as quickly as she could.
    October 30th, 2013 at 08:50pm
  • Kenah's gut instincts could just feel it. Someone was on to her. She frowned and shivered. If if was Xander, she was going to die. She didn't want to go back there - though being caught by another vampire wasn't good either. At least it would hopefully be a quick death. She just kept running, not knowing where she was going really.

The vampire was stalking after her. He could smell her... She smelled so good. So sweet. He wondered how a human had gotten out here - but he wouldn't stop to ask. She would be drained of blood before that. Because he didn't want to share... He wanted all of the sweet smelling blood to himself.
Aidan hadn't even noticed one of the vampires sneaking out. He was too absorbed in possibly getting this girl into bed. That was so much better.

  • Xander grinned to himself as he enjoyed the attention he was receiving. It was obvious that this vampiress was just as interested in him as he was in her - and he planned on taking full advantage of that, not even paying attention to anything else.
The vampire followed the scent of Kenah's blood as if hypnotized by it - which, in a way, he kind of was. There was something so exotic about the scent, so addictive, that he just wanted to taste it, wanted the liquid sanguine to flow in his mouth. It was driving him crazy and causing him to pick up his pace.

Kaycie could feel her heart beating faster, pounding in her chest at the presence that was far too obvious. She wanted to get away and it only drove her to try her best to pick up her pace, despite the pain in her legs. Perhaps it would have been smarter to stay at the vampire's house, she supposed, but she didn't want to face any more vampires at all. She just wanted to go home.
    November 4th, 2013 at 02:06am
  • Kenah could just tell that someone was following her. It was one of the skills that she had picked up with the problems that had come from being here. She breathed deeply, feeling herself get dizzy as she lost blood and ran away. She didn't know who was following her. If it was Xander, he was probably going to kill her. She was terrified. She just wanted to go home and get away.

The vampire was addicted to her scent - and he had yet to even taste her! His mouth was watering for the blood and he wanted it. He smirked and followed after her, picking up his pace as he went. She wasn't getting away. He wouldn't let her! He smirked and followed her.
Aidan was enjoying the attention. He hadn't had a girl in a while and he wanted one... He wanted one who he could release all of his needs out on. It would surely feel so good. He just didn't want to focus on anything else.
    November 6th, 2013 at 01:36am
  • The vampire was catching up to her quickly, smirking to himself. It was so easy to follow her, the scent only driving him to pick up his pace. He wanted her blood, not caring about anything else at this point. As long as he could get even just a taste of that addictive blood, he'd be satisfied. Well, likely not, since he'd probably end up draining her. But, still.
Xander smirked as the girl began tugging on his hand, trying to lead him upstairs. He began following her, though as they passed, he noticed Kenah's door open and found himself frowning as he moved to look inside, noticing her gone. A light growl escaped his lips as he realized that she had run away, that she had managed to slip past him.

Kaycie was losing her way, despite trying to concentrate on one straight path. She felt like she was going in circles, but continued on, trying her best not to slow down with knowing that somebody was following her. She needed to get away. Even if this vampire didn't manage to catch her, if Aidan found that she had run away, he'd likely kill her if he ever found her again.
    November 6th, 2013 at 01:42am
  • Kenah at this point wished that Xander would come find her. She knew this wasn't Xander... Xander would've already got her by now - and he would be pissed. Even if he saved her, he would be pissed, but she knew that he wouldn't have the heart to kill her. He still liked her blood to much. She sobbed a little as she ran. She knew this couldn't end well - at least, not for her...

Aidan smirked as he walked upstairs with the girl. He smelled an odd weakening of the scent and he didn't know what it was, but he tried to ignore it - until he got upstairs and then he saw it... The open door. He growled and shook his head. What the fuck? How did she get away when he had been paying close attention to her?! Or maybe he hadn't.
The man followed after her. He could sense that she was getting closer... That she was weakening. And he wanted her more than anything. He wanted that sweet blood of hers.
    November 17th, 2013 at 11:56pm
  • The vampire could hear the girl's sobs, grinning as he picked up his pace. He was so close, so close that he could practically taste her blood in the air. What a great thought, he realized as his grin turned more maniacal.
Xander didn't waste any time with pulling away from the female who was still trying to lead him to his room. Though he was craving her sexually, there was no way that he would just let Kenah get away - no, that was unacceptable. He rushed out of the house, being fairly quick about following her trail. Only he could also smell a vampire following her and that angered him. Kenah was his, her blood belonged to him. There was no way he was going to let another vampire have that delicious liquid.

Kaycie wanted to cry, feeling her ankle hurting. Had she sprained it? It felt like it and it was bothering her more than she thought. She hoped that she'd get even an ounce of adrenaline, figuring it might at least force the pain away and let her continue. At most, she wished that Aidan would come after her - though she wasn't exactly sure that he would save her, anyways.

  • Kenah was just praying to get away. She was running as fast as she could, but she couldn't last like this... It just wasn't going to work. She was going to get killed by this vampire that was after her and she couldn't do anything about it. She was pushing her body as hard as she could, but she didn't think it was working. She knew this was bad... The worst.

Though Aidan wished that he could continue this fun that he knew was going to come with this vampire, he pushed her away from him and hurried down the stairs. What the fuck was Kaycie thinking? He went outside and smelled it. Her blood. It was very good - as always... It was something that he was attracted to and he couldn't stop from wanting it. His mouth watering as he smiled. But he heard and sensed the vampire after her and that enraged him even more than her escape. What was this vampire doing? She was his. And his alone. He went tearing after her. She wasn't getting away - and this vampire wasn't getting her.

  • The vampire that was chasing Kenah finally caught sight of her. With a psychotic grin, he quickly tackled her to the ground. "What a great chase," he mused, his tone dark, "But I'm sure it will be well worth the prize!" He went to drive his fangs into her neck, but got tackled off of her by Xander, who had caught up fairly quickly. Baring his fangs down at the vampire, Xander growled, "Who gave you permission to touch my property!?"

Kaycie was growing tired, her pace slowing down. Placing her hand against a tree, she took a few deep breaths before she tried to start running again in a desperate attempt to get away. Her legs hurt, especially her ankle, but she refused to give up. She wouldn't let herself die like this, in the middle of the woods.
