Parents of Mibba!

I've talked to some people on here that are either parents, or expecting. So, I decided to create a thread that way we can all connect. c:

I, myself, am an expecting mother. I'm due June 13, 2013! I'm expecting a baby girl and my ex and I are planning on naming her Kaylyn Rose.

I just wanna see who all has kids on this wonderful site, and hopefully make some new friends. So, post away ladies and gents!

I'm Sydni. I'm due August 27th, I don't know the gender of my baby yet but my next ultrasound is scheduled for April 9th, so I'm hoping I'll know then! I'm currently 16 weeks along, happy as can be though. :3

I was due June 29th...but after a three-fold of pregnancy complications and a two week hospital stay, my little girl came 16 weeks early.

She is three weeks old today, will be in the NICU until May or June, but has been stable and is doing relatively well considering how early and small she was (born at 1 pound 8 ounces).

Her name is Scarlett Grace. Here are some pictures.

She's beautiful! My younger cousin Palynn was born really premature, too. She weighed 1lb 2oz when she was born. She's perfectly healthy now. I wish nothing but the best for your little girl and your family! <3

She's a beauty and you couldn't have picked a better name. I don't know if you read "Gone with the Wind" but Scarlett OHara was a fighter too. My prayers go out to you and your liitle one with the hopes that she will be home with you soon.

LOCK IT? Definitely NOT! I have been long looking for a place where I could swap advice with other parents that find themselves in the same situations as I do. Although this does not fit my criteria as my children are teens, I hope those that have made a connection here will take advantage of it and help each other out. Any ideas where I can go to connect with parents of teens?

O'k, I won't be shy. The issue I am dealing right is that my soon to 18 year old wants to move out NOW! I realize that when she turns 18 in August, she can do that with or without my permission. Every week she seems to come up with another reason why we should allow her do what she wants. This has been going since last December. I'm ready to pull all my hair out and just tell her GO and leave me in peace. But letting her go would not leave me in peace. I would probably worry more. She is a responsible person and has a lot of drive for someone her age. She is in the dual enrollment program, attending college for her senior year. Maybe that was a mistake, exposing to her others who are already on their own. She also jumped right on the band wagon with getting her license and getting a job as soon as she turned 16 although her two older sisters did not. She is already a supervisor at the cinema she works at and is hoping to become a manager when she comes of age (18 is the age you need to be to become a manager) and I don't doubt that she will accomplish that also. If she wanted to move in with, share a place, with a friend (female) I probably wouldn't be so hesitant but she wants to move in with her boyfriend. Any advice??
