K-Pop Fandom Club

Welcome to the K-Pop Fandom Club! This is the official spot on Mibba for members within the K-Pop fandom to come together to discuss all things K-Pop. From the music to the stories and everything in between, the club has got all your K-Pop needs covered.



The club has a variety of features to satisfy your Korean music addiction. Here's a brief description of all the current ones.



Every week, one K-Pop fan fiction is featured here in the club. This is a great way for both authors to gain exposure and feedback, and for readers to find new stories within the fandom.



In addition to weekly stories, once a month the club shines a spotlight on one of its wonderful members. Featured members will be interviewed so other users can get to know them a little better.



Writing prompts are a fantastic way to spark inspiration for stories. Ranging from photos and gifs, quotes from the musicians, songs and song lyrics, scenarios, pairings, and more, these user submitted prompts are here to help this fandom to grow.

If you write a story based on one of the prompts, you're encouraged to post a link to your story in the thread. Prompts are also organised by tag, which will be posted with each prompt, so you can easily search the site for anyone else who used the prompt to write something amazing.



To encourage writing and build a sense of community in this club, monthly challenges are posted. There is a variety of challenges, like story writing challenges, article challenges, blog challenges, and even reading challenges to complete throughout the month.



Each month, the club highlights one band in the genre with information on the band, an introduction to its members, and and overview of the music for people to learn more about the artists.



We all like to fan-girl every now and then and Bias of the Week allows for just that. Once a week, a band member is selected to appreciate.



Without the music, there would be no K-Pop fandom. Weekly, we take a moment to just enjoy the music with a featured video.



Last, but not least, with Korean being the main language of these bands, there's an interest among users in learning to speak it. Each week, a new Korean word is introduced for members to expand their language knowledge a bit.

Those are our club features at the moment. Members are also more than welcome to post news, links to K-Pop contests being hosted on Mibba, photos, gifs, and anything else relevant to the K-Pop fandom.

Hi everyone!
So I am really excited that this is a thing now!
Even though I'm friends with a lot of you guys, I'm still going to introduce myself. I'm Carese and I am really happy to be in this nifty little club with everyone! I've never been the president for like anything so this shall be quite the experience.
All the stuff that goes down here, like the bias and video of the week and such is helped geared by you guys so your voices are always going to be heard and I hope no one will be shy in contributing their opinions and thoughts and such.
So yeah, this is my little intro thing and I think the first order of business should be our beautiful members introducing themselves!

Um, hi. I'm Katie. I have an obsession with all the members of BigBang. And Junsu. I'm also currently obsessed with Lee Hi right now. I think she's amazing.

Hey, everybody! I'm Kylee, Ky, whatever works.
I'm a really crazy Kpop fangirl, horribly so. Yunho is my ultimate Kpop bias, but I also adore Siwon, Junsu, Daesung, TOP, and Soohyun. I'm trying to broaden further into the genre, though I'm not doing the greatest job at it. Super Junior, BIGBANG, U-KISS, TVXQ, and JYJ are my regulars. Can't ever get enough of them. <3

My name is Sydney. SHINee (and Carese, aka park chanyeol) brought me into the lovely world of kpop, but B.A.P and Block B are my favorite groups. I also have a thing for rookies and I end up obsessing over them.

Okay, my name's Riley. I have not yet heard a kpop group that I don't like. Super Junior was my first kpop group and will always make me squeal, but EXO is my favorite group. I also like B.A.P, Infinite, SHINee, B2st, B1A4, Block B... the list goes on and on. My ultimate bias is Tao from EXO and I cry over him daily.

Since the first of the month is coming up in another two days, if you guys had any ideas for challenges of the month, please share with us and we can choose one for this month and put the others is queue for next month and so on. Also, if anyone would like to kick us off with a music video, bias, author and/or prompt of the week since it's Sunday and the week is starting that'd be great too! Oh and band introductions! Would anyone like to present us with that too?

I hope this isn't too much too fast, haha. I just figured since both the new week and new month are amongst us, we should get the ball rolling on everything!
