To make sure nobody misses the weekly stuff, we should compile them in a blog to be posted once a week - I would suggest Monday - and then you could edit your first post and include the link of said blog to make sure everyone sees it. During the weekend we could talk with each other to decide the video, bias, prompt, etc of the following week and then one of us would make said blog.

That's a good idea! So basically, you're suggesting that along with the posts made here with these things, we make a blog post of all of them together so no one misses it within the thread...right?

I'm not as big of a fan of K-Pop as a lot of you seem, but I like quite a few artists. I think my favorite K-Pop artist would be 2NE1. I also like other artists though like 5Dolls, SNSD, 4Minute, BIGBANG, Sugar (though they broke up), G.NA, and SHINee. Girl groups don't see as loved as male groups though haha ^^'

Yeah, every week we compile everything and one of us makes the blog and then you edit your first post and include the link. Because in a forum stuff easily gets lost in the middle of posts and whatnot.

It's good to see someone else who's a big an of girl groups! I totally agree about girl groups not being as loved which is a shame before there are so many good girl groups.
You've actually given me a really good idea about showcasing the girl groups a lot more in the club so thank you! ^^

Our first ever MVOTW was suggested to us by the lovely DamnYouJackSparrow!.

It is TVXQ's Mirotic.


The song is from their 2008 album with the same name. The video previously had a total of 80 million views but during TVXQ's lawsuit period with SM Entertainment, the video was taken down and reuploaded a few months later. Today, the video has over 17 million views.

The song is my personal favorite TVXQ song and the video is great. I really really love the dance! Plus Changmin the outfits...just...

Hello everyone! I'm Dorito and I'm responsible for bringing you Korean words every week. I do not speak Korean, although I am learning, but I know how to say some things and I can read hangeul.

This week I bring you the very first word you say to someone you've just met: Hello.

Hangeul: 안녕.
Romanized: Annyeong.

Now, this is the informal speech you use with friends, close family and people your age or younger. To make it formal, simply add 하세요 (hasseyo).

Formal:
안녕 하세요 .

Annyeong hasseyo.

What if I make a blog explaining the honorifics, since I mentioned it?

Okay guys, so our fabulous member, Kinki Jinki aka Dorito, had this idea which I think will keep things organized. We could have a schedule for everything according to each day to keep things organized and so people will know what to expect each day. This is what it'll be as of now and if you guys have any questions or anything, make sure you voice 'em!

Sunday: Music Video of the Week
Monday: Korean Word of the Week
Tuesday: Bias of the Week
Wednesday: Writing Prompt of the Week
Thursday: Story of the Week

Friday and Saturday have no specific things assigned to them, so they can just be like free-for-alls to discuss what's been posted so far and work on your prompts, if you choose to participate that is, and whatnot. This Saturday, Dorito will be posting the first review blog which will compile everything from the week into one, just in case someone missed it for whatever reason.

Now, as for band introductions, monthly challenges and author of the month, those will be done around the first week of the new months. Like I said in my first post, all of these things are brought to us by you guys. Of course I will contribute, but this is also your club so any stories, bands or authors you want to spotlight, just let me know. You can put it in the thread or go ahead and message me, whichever you would prefer

OMG So I meant to post in this earlier, but I'll go ahead and introduce myself. I'm Brittany and some of my favorite Korean artists are SHINee, TVXQ, Ailee, 2NE1, Girl's Generation, Beast, Kara, Wonder Girls, and Brown Eyed Girls is all I can think of off the top of my head.
