The Revolution

@ Jaguar's Heart
Elizabeth headed off to her room to calm down. She was having a hard time just getting through the fact that he was really gone. It was even harder having to look at Xhex and knowing that her own love was gone. Knowing that the one who looked at her with empty eyes wasn't the one she loved. She was having a hard time keeping it all together. Luckily she was able to contain herself before the servant came. Elizabeth was then brought outside of the interview room where she waited for Xhex.

Xhex was lead to the roomwhere everything was going down. He sent a small smile to Elizabeth as he stopped at her side. He leaned into her to whisper, "Do we need to pretend around the servants as well?" he asked as he kept his body close to hers as if they were sharing a lover's conversation.

"No." Elizabeth whispered back to him. "Most of them already know what had happened. Besides they are all sworn to keep secrets and none of them have betrayed us yet." She told him. She moved closer to him and laced their fingers together. "Are you ready?" Elizabeth asked him as she looked up at him, smiling a bit.

Xhex tightened his fingers around hers and let out a deep breath, "No, but I don't really have a choice." That said he stood straight and put a smile on his face. He walked into the room with Elizabeth, growing a little worried at the large camera and crew that were there. He glanced down at Elizabeth, then prayed that he could do this correctly.

Elizabeth looked up at Xhex lovingly, smiling at him brightly. Somehow she was able to push the last few days away and just pretend that he was her Xhex. "Everything will be fine," She whispered to him.
The interviewer then came out, smiling at both of them warmly. She bowed to Elizabeth before speaking. "Princess Elizabeth, Xhex. I am Emily Howe. it is a honor to be allowed to interview you both. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."
"Well thank you for coming in on such a short notice." Elizabeth told her before heading over to the couch. She sat down and the interviewer sat down in the chair opposite of them.
"It was no problem I assure you." Emily said. The make up artist then came over to do some quick make up changes on Elizabeth and Xhex to ensure they wouldn't shine under the lights.

Xhex sat beside Elizabeth, having to force himself not to growl as a human came up and put powder on his face. He didn't like being surrounded by so many humans... but if he was going to do this he had to accept the fact that humans - a species he'd learned to distrust - were a part of his life. At least until this whole "pretending" thing was over. Once the human with the powder stepped back he breathed a sigh of relief, still holding Elizabeth's hand. He didn't really say much - was the new Xhex a talker? Chatty? Nice? - and instead just looked around, making sure there wasn't any threats in the room.

Elizabeth glanced over at him for a moment. Ps he could tell that he was tense-which didn't surprise her very much. After all this was a rather difficult situation for him to be in. Gently she moved their hands onto her lap and began to rub the back his his palm lightly, hoping to calm him down a little.
Emily leaned back into the chair as her make up was done. Once the lady was out of the way she sat back up and looked at the two for a moment, smiling. "We'll be able to start in just a few minutes. They are making a few last adjustments."

Xhex released a breath as he focused on Elizabeth's touch. It was oddly comforting. He nodded at Emily, "That's fine, take you time," His tone was very accepting, though inside he just wanted this to be over... how long could he keep this up for? Already he wanted it to end.

Emily spoke with the others, trying to finish the last touches to get the interview started. During this time Elizabeth turned to Xhex and whispered to him. "Everything will be okay. If you don't know an answer then stay quiet and I'll do the talking. Otherwise speak up when you can.' Elizabeth pulled out a bit, smiled at him and then pressed a light kiss on his cheeks.

Xhex took in a deep breath through his nose, then placed his own kiss to her lips. It was soft, quite chaste, but he didn't think cheek kisses would do the trick witht these people. They would want the real thing... or at least something that was close to the real thing, "Will do," He whispered, figured that silent glares were probably still something he did... right? He hated not knowing what this... this new him would do.

Elizabeth lightly kissed back when Xhdx pressed his lips to hers. It brought a heavy weight on her chest, knowing that it wasn't the same kiss...but she was able to keep her outward appearance composed. She smiled at him softly before lookong over at the lady.
The interviewew looked up at the two, smiling warmly. "Alright we are ready now." Once Elizabeth and Xhex were both prepared she turned to the director and gave a nod. There was a countdown before the woman started talking.
"Hello! We are here in the castle doing a very special interview with Princess Elizabeth and her new fiancé Xhex." She then looked at them. "It is a real honor to be here Princess Elizabeth. Thank you for inviting us."
Elizabeth smiled warmly at her. "And thank you for coming. We are just excited to finally share our news with everyone."
"Yes and we are excited to find out how you two came to be. Now tell us how did the two of you get together?"

Xhex blinked at the interviewer, unable to bring up the memory. How had they gotten together? If he remembered right, they'd mentioned that she'd purchased him from an auction... "I can honestly tell you that I never expected this," Xhex said, trying to make it all sound believable... without giving away the fact that he knew pretty much nothing, "My whole life before this was... not pretty. And then Elizabeth came along and..." He turned and smiled at Elizabeth, "And then there was a light."
