Addy let out a quiet laugh, shaking her head. "Who says I can't be both?" She asked, punctuating her words with a raised eyebrow. She and Josh had always been able to joke around with each other, and maybe that was why Vada had constantly been bugging her about giving him a chance. She knew she'd be hearing it from her friend when she saw her next and, in all honesty, she knew that she deserved all of the I-told-you-sos in the world. Because she was having a great time so far, and she was sure that the rest of the evening would go just as smoothly as the first part had. Her eyebrows rose in response to his later words, and she was about to say something in response, though the waiter came over before she had the opportunity to do so. This conversation certainly wasn't over though, not by a long shot. "The steak sounds good."
"I will not be an accomplice in your deviant ways, Vada." Max said, chuckling slightly. He couldn't help thinking how adorable she looked when she pouted the way that she was. Of course, he always thought she looked adorable, but that was besides the point. "If you get yourself sent to the slammer, it'll be by your own accord. Like I said earlier, I'm too pretty to go to jail. I'd get eaten alive in there." He grinned slightly. "Being cute doesn't automatically make you the winner, hate to break it to you, V." He argued. "You and Dan are both equally over dramatic. I don't think one of you is worse than the other. Sorry." He shrugged his shoulders. Max was honestly pretty surprised that she was telling him everything that she was. She hardly ever opened up like this, but he was listening, and he'd always listen to what she had to say. No matter what. "You haven't really let me say much, you know. You're telling me about this bloke who broke your heart in high school, he was obviously a wanker by the way, but you haven't even let me tell you how I feel about any of this."

"Excuse me, your majesty. Don't send a poor ol' peasant like myself to the gallows for mixing up a saying." He choked back a laugh to try and keep serious, but it was failing pretty hard at that moment. He hid behind his menu as the waiter came over so he could laugh at her shocked face when he said that. It was obvious he was just trying to act like a wanker, in all honesty he was hoping for more than just a second date with her, even if he wouldn't admit that to anybody. Addy was completely different from anyone he's ever met, and it was like talking to one of the guys when he was with her. " I'll take the steak too, wish mash potatoes and a ceased salad." He asked as the waiter left he raised his eyebrows at her. "You underestimated me, Ms. Simmers. I'm one of the biggest wankers in this damn country. I am the king of a one night stand. Second dates are not in my vocabulary ." he started with a wicked smile.
"Max! That's not fair! What would you do without me if I went to prison?! You would be sad and who would help you set up your friends with my friends? See. You need me. Start coming up with a plan to get me out of prison, buttface." She giggled, shoving him lightly. "Maxxxxxxxx" she whined like a toddler not getting their way. "Dan is so more over dramatic than I am. Did you know he use to get me punished for calling him Dannyboy?! He told my mum that I was being a bully!" She said, not telling him the fact she use to hit him and everything else before getting grounded. She tilted her head at his words and was taken back for a second. She just assumed he didn't feel the same about her but never bothered to ask him. "Well, how do you feel?" She asked, making herself more comfortable on the couch.

Addy had to bite back the laugh that was threatening to escape her lips as the waiter came over to their table. See? This was what she liked about spending time with Josh. Sure, other than tonight she'd only hung out with him in a group setting, and this was obviously quite different from that, but she still got a good laugh then too. When he hid behind his menu, she knew that he was laughing at her. It was pretty obvious. She smiled politely at the waiter, looking back to Josh as he left. "Oh? Is that so?" She asked, quirking a brow. She knew that he was only joking with her, so she played along. "Well, you certainly fooled me, Franceschi."
Max laughed. "How d'you know that I need your help setting my friends up with your friends? You act like I don't know another Flint. I could get Dan to start scheming with me instead." He was only joking obviously. He was pretty sure that Dan wouldn't scheme with him if he asked him to, and he wasn't about to replace Vada with her brother. She was one of his best mates, and she was honestly irreplaceable. "Are you sure about that, V? Because you seem to be acting rather over dramatic right now." He laughed once more. "I'm sure there's more to the story than what you're actually telling me, Vada. I know you all too well." He paused for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts before he spoke. "I fancy you, Vada. I have for a while now, and I've wanted to tell you, but Dan has that stupid rule of his where none of us can make a move on you or whatever. I know that that shouldn't stop me, but it has, but I don't want to let it hold me back anymore."

If he knew the date would have been this easy, he would of asked her out ages ago without so much hesitation. She was beautiful, smart, and sassy. She was everything that he wanted in a date. He wasn't laughing at her, per say, he was laughing at the convenient timing the waiter had when he came over to take their order. He knew this date was going to be everything that he wanted it to be as soon as she started sassing back at him. "It's part of my game plan, really. Matt always told me the mysterious guys always got a good romp in after dinner, sometimes even during dinner." He said chuckling while he shook his head. "I can feel my mum hitting me." He said laughing again . "Don't worry, I promise that I am not like the others you've dated. I'm a wee bit tapped in the head, but it keeps things interesting." He smirked, grabbing the wine bottle and filling their glasses. "To wankers and twats, may we never be one or date another!" He said, his wine glass tilting towards gets waiting for her to clink their glasses together.
"Well you can get Daniel and you can ask him to help you dress yourself and ask him cute date ideas. You'll come off as a total wanker and a half, but hey, he's the other Flint." She joked , sticking her tongue out at him. It was true that Dan and Vada were both his best friends, but their friendship was a very fun one. They were both very goofy people, so the seriousness between them was rare, but when it did happen, it were some of the best conversations she's had in her life. She opened up to Max to more things than anyone else. He was the only person she trusted right off the back and he hadn't made her regret that yet. "Think what you will, Heyler, just know your opinion is wrong." She grinned like the Cheshire cat. However, when he told her he fancied her as well, she turned bright red because not only did she never think she'd hear those words, but she was, in fact, being over dramatic again. "Max.... I don't know what to say." She said, her smile not dropping at all. "I must of sounded like a complete twat, huh?"

Addy kind of wished that she'd listened to Vada ages ago. Of course, she hadn't simply agreed to go on this date because of her friend, she'd done this because she wanted to, but Vada's constant pestering sort of did have something to do with it. She couldn't help laughing at his words. "I didn't think that you were." She told him honestly. "You don't really give off that wanker vibe." It was usually fairly easy to pick out the wankers from the non-wankers, though it seemed as though the few guys that she'd dated were the exception to that fact. They'd seemed like decent guys at first, but it was only a matter of time before their true colors started to show. "I'll drink to that." She said, clinking her glass against his before taking a sip of her wine.
"You make it sound like I'm completely helpless without you around, V. I'll have you know that I survived just fine on my own while we were on tour." Max told her. "You should be proud of me, really." He grinned slightly. He was always alright on tour without her, though he did honestly miss her terribly. He always did, and he was glad that he was home now, and that they could spend time together again. "Says you. Maybe your opinion's the wrong one, Flint." He argued. He chuckled slightly at her later words, nodding. "Yeah, you kind of did." He admitted. "Say that you'll go out on a proper date with me."

"I have many of ex girlfriend who would disagree with you on that one, love." He said with a smile before clinking his glass against hers. "I don't have the greatest dating past, and that's why it took so long to ask you out." He began before taking a sip of his drink. "I've been cheated on, I've also cheated myself. I've done my fair share of, ah how does Daniel say it? Hitting it and quitting it, but when I did realize I wanted to ask you out on a date, I made sure that I was willing to actually give this a shot. America was good, not only for the band, but it made me think a lot." He revealed, the line glass touching his lips again before putting it on the table. "I'm sure Vada told you time in and time out that I've had my eye on you for quite some time. I'm not trying to sound creepy, but you are such a catch. Max would have killed me if I didn't make a move on you." He smiled as their salads arrived.
"You didn't shave, but, you look well. And don't smell too too bad, unlike Josh who stinks of beef, cheese, and man for like two weeks when he gets back. So yes, I am proud of you." Shesmiled at his goofy grin. She was glad she skipped out of spending the day with Daniel. She had missed him when he was gone, and when he wasn't online to play FIFA with her, she had to play with Addy, which usually wasn't as competitive or as fun like playing with Max. "I'm never wrong. You know this." She said, shoving him slightly before messing with his hair. "That was a rhetorical question. I knew how dumb I sounded." She giggled before nodding her head. "Yes, but FIFA is not a date, because then this will never happen Since we're both too damn competitive." She giggled softly.

"She was relentless." Addy laughed quietly, shaking her head. If there was one thing that Vada was it was persistent. She would constantly bring up Josh in conversation, even if they were talking about something that had nothing to do with him or the guys whatsoever. It had honestly started getting a bit ridiculous, though she was glad her friend pestered her as much as she did. It was part of why she'd agreed when he asked her out at the airport yesterday. "You don't sound creepy at all, and I'm glad that you're willing to give this a shot. I really haven't dated anyone, or gone out on a date in quite some time. Most of the guys I've dated in the past ended up being twats."
Max chuckled. "He does usually smell like beef, cheese and man when we come back from tour. You're right." He said. Most of the time, he and the lads didn't exactly take care of themselves too well when they were on tour. "Just be happy that we didn't do Warped Tour this year. Showers are a near foreign concept." He grinned slightly. He was glad that she'd stopped by his flat. He'd missed her a lot while he was gone, so he wanted to spend as much time with her as he could now that he was home. "I beg to differ." He shoved her back lightly, messing her hair up as well. "You were a tad bit over dramatic, love." He chuckled. "You think so highly of me." He said sarcastically. "When I say a proper date, I don't mean us playing Fifa, V. We do that on a daily basis."
