Tatum released a big sigh of relief as the little girl finally started to giggle. After switching to a new formula, she realized the one month old couldn't digest milk properly. As she put the baby down into her crib, she quietly left the room and laid on her bed. If she fell asleep, it would be the first time she could sleep longer than an hour at a time without having to get up and comfort her daughter. She felt her phone buzz for the millionth time before looking down at her phone and seeing it was from Jack, asking how Adrianne was doing. Jack had to be the best Godparent in the world, but, Tatum believed it was because he was still a child himself. She then got a text from Rian, saying that he was staying in Baltimore a few days after tour ended before going back to his apartment with Cass.

After a series of text she looked at her phone and debated on texting him. She told Alex he didn't have to stay. She told him that it would be a clean break, and he could be the cool uncle if he chose too. He could go back to Lisa and she could raise Adrianne on her own. But, as Tatum was now realizing, being a single mother is a lot of hard work, and no one should have to do it alone. She dropped her phone on the night stand before looking up at the ceiling.

"Dude, you have to call her eventually." Jack said, snapping Alex out of his reverie. The singer sighed and looked up from his phone. "Hmm?" He asked, pretending he didn't know what his skunk-haired friend was talking about. Jack rolled his eyes. "Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about, you dumbass. I know you miss Tatum. And I KNOW you want to see the baby. So GO see them." Jack said. Alex sighed and shook his head. "If only it was that simple, Jack. I can't." He whispered. Jack turned and looked his friend in the eye, speaking only one word. "Why?"

Why? It was a good question. Alex definitely wanted to be in his daughter's life. He wanted to wake up with her at 2:00 in the morning and make her bottles, comfort her when she cried, buy her cute little outfits and just be with her. But he couldn't, because he had Lisa. Alex loved Lisa, he really did. But she didn't understand. Alex had a feeling Lisa knew something was up, due to the way Alex had been acting in the past year or so. She either didn't care, or cared but was ignoring it. "I'm going to text her," Alex said, interrupting the brief silence. He picked up his phone and shot Tatum a text. How's the little one? c:

Tatum knew more than she led Alex to believe. Jack, Rian, Zack, and hell, even Flyzik informed her what the singer was doing. She wished it was easier than she led on to believe. That Alex could just come into the child's life and not have to worry. But stupid Tatum had to sleep with a guy. A guy who was her best friend. Her best friend that had been in a relationship since high school. With a girl who's hated how close Alex and Tatum were since high school. She didn't regret Adrianne in the least, hell, Adi was the best thing that's happened to her, she just wished the conception was when she was in a relationship and sober, and not behind someone's back while falling down drunk.

She had just began to doze off when she heard her text tone go off. She groaned, thinking it was Jack, making a mental note she was going to kill him, but when she read the name, her eyes bugged out and her heart sank to her chest. First day she's slept more than an hour without crying. Switched her formula. Was beginning to think she hated me. the girl texted back, the same butterflies in her stomach that were always present during there talks. She quickly opened a new message. How's the tour? she quickly tapped out before biting her lip softly.

Alex sighed, heading back to his bunk. He smiled slightly at the picture of Adrianne he had put up before texting Adrianne back. Awe, at least she's sleeping longer now...give her a kiss for me? He tapped out the message, sighing softly as he did so. Tour's been good, as far as tours go. Jack's only passed out drunk twice so far-- I think he's losing his touch. The singer slipped his phone into his pocket and curled up a little bit, trying to catch some sleep and chase the thoughts of Tatum out of his head.

Why did he sleep with her? Alex half knew the answer, but he didn't want to admit it to himself. It was like denying that the room you were in was on fire, while everyone else was screaming and running out of the room and you just sat there, sipping your water. "What a mess, Gaskarth." The singer whispered to himself, pulling his blanket over his head. But he didn't regret his little girl in the least. He just wished he could brag about her all the time, like most proud daddies do.

As she read the text message over and over again, she let a tear fall from her eyes. She just wanted her best friend here with her, taking care of the baby together. Now she can be a happy little baby...I always do. She texted back, sighing heavily trying to compose herself, but failing miserably. What's this world coming too?! Tell him he needs to pass out drunk for me. :) She remembered hometown shows where Jack would get so drunk he'd need a week to cure his hangover. It was one of the things that made Jack, Jack. The crazy, lanky Lebanese party boy.

She walked into her kitchen and grabbed a water from the fridge before heading into Adrianne's room and taking a picture of her sleeping before sitting down in the rocking chair before sending it to Alex. She takes up the whole crib when she sleeps. She obviously takes after you on that one. she smiled at the memories of her and alex as she rocked back and fourth on the chair. She just wished it wasn't so difficult for him to come out and say he had Adrianne. That he could come and grab her at anytime. So she could have a semi-normal life. But she knew that was a crazy thought.

Alex smiled softly at the picture of Adrianne that Tatum had sent him. That's my little girl alright...God, I miss her. The singer sighed and tried to compose himself, but he couldn't do it. A few tears slipped out of his eyes as he prepared to send another text to her. Lisa is visiting her parents the week that I get back. I can come over for a few days, spend some time with you and the little nugget. Alex slid his phone into the little carrier thing in his bunk and curled up again, trying to get some sleep. He unfortunately couldn't because Jack came bounding into the bunk room and climbed on to of him.

"Alex, wake up man! I need someone to play xbox with! Rian's busy and Zack doesn't want toooo!" Jack pouted. Alex sat up and rolled his eyes. "Okay fine. Go set it up and I'll be there in a minute." He said. Before Alex could even get the sentence all the way out of his mouth, Jack bounded up and out of the bunk. Alex sent one more text to Tatum. Tell her daddy loves her, please? He then got out of his bunk and headed out to the lounge to play xbox with Jack.

Tatum didn't realize how hard she was biting her lip until she tasted a small amount of blood. Yeah...of course. She'd love it. she texted back like someone had a gun to her head. How she wished he would just grow the balls to tell Lisa that he fucked up. She knew it was hard, but she didn't think she could handle him sneaking around to see his daughter. You might have to fight off Rian and Cass, though, he said they were stopping by before going back to L.A. and you know how they are when it comes to Adrianne. She tried to lighten the mood in hopes she'd forget about him sneaking around Lisa but it wasn't leaving anytime soon.

Tatum ended up falling asleep on her third try. She was only woken up to a hungry baby at 7 a.m. in the morning. She stretched before looking at her phone as she walked to the nursery. Five hours. It's a record. she texted Alex, before looking at the text he sent her last night. She smiled and called him on face-time, hoping he'd be up to greet Adrianne good morning. "Hi baby, hopefully daddy wakes up." she said to the baby who started smiling and giggling at the word daddy.

Alex groaned and rolled over when he heard his phone beeped. He blindly grabbed it, not fully waking up until he saw that Tatum had been calling. The singer answered the call enthusiastically. "Hi, you..." He smiled at Tatum, rubbing his face to wake up some more. "You look good... and our precious slept five hours? That's awesome! Can I see her?" Alex grinned in anticipation as he waited for Tatum to turn her phone so he could see the baby.

"Hi, little one, it's Daddy..." Alex smiled at the word, happy tears coming to his eyes when he saw his little princess start wiggling around. "Are you being a good girl for mommy, not giving her too much trouble?" He sighed softly, tkaing a screenshot of his girl. "I love you, Adri.... daddy misses you so so so much.... I can't wait to come home and hold you." Alex said softly, his heart aching as he watched his daughter yawn. "Mommy told me that you slept ALL night last night! I'm proud of you, little missy."

"You look like a hot mess." she replied, giggling as she noticed he just woke up. "Five full hours. This new formula is a life saver. And, she's actually happy right now!" She said as she placed the phone down for a second and picking up the one year old. She picked up her phone and showing the screen toward Alex. Adrianne cooed and smiled a lot as Alex talked to her, making Tatum's heart swell with happiness. Tatum went to the fridge, pulled out a pre-made bottle and put her phone on a phone holder while tilting the bottle into the babies mouth.

"I guess the bottle won her attention." Tatum said with a small giggle as she looked down at her baby then back at Alex. "Honestly, did you sleep at all last night, or were you too busy getting drunk with Jack." she asked, grinning as she looked at the tired man's image on her screen. He was even good looking when he first woke up, and she made a mental note to add that to the 'reasons why Alex Gaskarth sucks list.' "I read your text that you wanted to tell her you loved her, so I thought you should tell her yourself." She said, as the bottle was almost empty.

Alex laughed. "I actually went to bed about two hours before you called. Jack woke me up last night and he wanted to play xbox. I got to bed at about five AM." He said, turning his attention to the drowsy baby drinking her bubba. "Thanks...I really missed seeing her. I can't wait to cover her in kisses." Alex whispered, smiling that fatherly smile at his daughter's picture. "I got her a few things while I've been on tour...some onesies and blankies....and a couple of toys. Is she still teething?" Alex asked, smiling as he saw his daughter's teeth.

Adrianne was growing up so fast. And Alex was missing most of it because he was too much of a chicken shit to say anything to Lisa. He sighed softly. "So, how've you been, Tater tot?" Alex asked, sitting up. He really did care about how the mother of his child was doing. It wasn't just awkward forced pleasantries. He nodded and listened. "Like I said last night, I think I can stay for about six days once I get back from tour." Alex swallowed hard, internally debating on whether or not he should tell Lisa how bad be fucked up.

She laughed at the reason he was up so late. Jack was always getting Alex into some sort of shenanigans. "Well, I hoped you kicked his ass because no daughter of mine is going to have a father who loses to Jack." she said with a wink joking around. Sometimes, when they talked it was like old times. Before Adrianne and before the whole messing around behind Lisa's back started. She grinned and looked down at her child. "She misses you. To get her to fall asleep I have to play one of your albums softly. She loves her daddy's voice." she said, putting the bottle up, Tatum switched positions to burp her baby, now. Lightly patting her on the back. "Oh! She'll love them. And yeah, her second tooth is trying to break through the surface." she said as her baby let out a loud burp. "Sometimes I feel like I'm living with Jack with how loud this child burps." she giggled as she rocked the baby in her arms.

It sucked that Alex had to miss out on Adrianne's life. She was growing up so fast already it's hard to believe it was about a year ago she found out she was pregnant. "I've been surviving." she said, placing Adrianne in her playpen and plopping down on the couch. "I get to go back to work soon. I don't know if I can be eight hours without munchkin though." she said, honestly, sighing. "How about you, how's tour?" she asked, curious. She never once stopped caring about Alex. Even when her friends tell her he's no good for her and stuff like that, she knew that he was good. She grinned at the mention of six days. "Up to you. I can have a guess room made up if you'd like." she said, trying not to make things awkward.

Alex grinned. "Tour's going real good. Aside from Jack not passing out drunk enough, everything's been super fun. Cass came out for a few dates and sang with us...it was really fun." He said softly, gazing at the woman who had birthed his child. Christ, she was beautiful. "I'll be there whenever you need me to be...or I can try." Alex whispered, looking at his baby in her arms. "Christ, she's so perfect." He ran his finger over her picture.

"Awe, she's a queen burper, huh?" He laughed. "That's my girl!" Alex said proudly. "While I have you on here, do you wanna say hey to everybody?" Alex asked as he sat up. "I'm sure they wanna see you-- I think they love you and the baby more than me!" He joked, playfully sticking his tongue out at Tatum.

She giggled as he talked about tour, remembering nights she randomly showed up on tour and just party with them. "Imma yell at him to get drunk. Christ, I miss that woman! Can't wait till y'all come back." She said as Adrianne made a noise and pointed down to her. "She can't wait either." She said, rocking her, hearing Alex in the background. "Thanks, 'Lex." She said with a small smile before looking down at her child. "She's going to look just like you. 'Cept she has my eyes." She said grinning into the phone. "If she has your attitude, I might as well just give up thinking that I will have a normal child ever." She said with a wink, as she saw the baby smile that was 100% her dads.

"Yup. Always burping or eating. So yeah, your little girl." she said giggling before nodding her head. "I miss everyone." she said with a smile and shrugged. "Don't be jealous, Gaskarth, just because two beautiful girls get more attention then you." she said, fixing Adrianne's outfit. "Besides, everyone loves a child out of wedlock." she said with a wink, before stinking her tongue back out at him.

Alex rolled his eyes. "They love you two because you're so cute!" He said, getting out of his bunk. "Hey, guys I have Adrianne and Tatum on face time!" He yelled into the lounge area. The guys came running, ripping Alex's phone out of his hand. Jack was first. "Where's my little princess?" He asked, smiling when he noticed the baby in Tatum's arms. "Hey there, little chicky. Man, you're so pretty. Even though you look like your daddy." Jack teased, flipping the bird to Alex. He barely had time to talk to her before Zack ripped the phone away. "YOU HAVE NO INTEREST IN THAT MERRICK, YOU CAN'T BENCH PRESS A BABY!" Jack yelled, crossing his arms.

Alex sat back and smile as he watched everyone talk to Tatum and his baby, fatherly pride coming over him like a warm blanket. He was the luckiest man alive....he'd be even luckier if he could explain everything that was going on to Lisa and come out alive. With a sigh, Alex plopped down next to Jack. "Give me my phone back, dork." He said, messing up his hair.

Tatum let out a laugh and winked. "Whatever you say Gaskarth." Waiting for the phone to be ripped out of his hand in any second, she mentally prepared herself with seeing all her best friends. When Jack was the first, she wasn't surprised. "Barakat! You're traumatizing my child!" she cried out playfully, pretending to block her eyes from Jack. "Also, you need to get drunk for me. I have to raise munchkin, so you have to get stupid drunk all the time. Don't listen to Flyzik when he says no." she said before seeing Zack for a split second. "Zack!!!!" she yelled happily before Jack stole her back. "Jack, give me back to Zack, I like him the most out of all you goons." she said with a wink, talking to Zack before he went and worked out.

While talking to Jack, he was baby talking to Adrianne, which caused her to smile and coo at him. "Jack, you're going to make my child as dumb as you with that talk." She said, giggling as he mused comebacks before going back to talking to Adrianne. This, to her, was how it was suppose to be. Facetiming with the band and Alex, having a happy child, and just being content. But she was never fully content knowing about everything else that goes on. She heard Alex and saw Adrianne yawn. "Lemme talk to the baby daddy. She's going to go down for her nap soon." She said to Jack before having Adrianne wave to him, seeing Alex in the next second. "Welcome back, handsome."

Alex grinned, headed back to his bunk. "Miss me?" He joked as he climbed in. "I know little miss here did." Alex cooed to the baby, smiling at the happy noises she made. "She's the happiest baby I've ever seen. Like me." He said proudly as he looked down at her. "But yeah, like I said earlier. I've gotten her a lot of toys and clothes... a girl can never have enough clothes, right?" The singer giggled slightly. He sat there and looked at Tatum and Adrianne for a few minutes, just soaking in his life.

"Hey, Tater tot.... we have a ton of time left on this tour. If you and the little munchkin wanna fly out and see us, I'll be happy to pay for your tickets." Alex offered, really hoping that Tatum would say yes. He wanted more than anything to spend some time with then, and he just KNEW he couldn't wait until he came home from tour to cover them both in kisses.

"Always." she said with a cheesy grin as Alex cooed to the child. "She's now the happiest baby. Need I remind you I thought she hated me for the longest time because she was on the wrong formula. I can't wait till she talks." she said with a giggle, grinning at how proud Alex looked. "You have more clothes than me, so I mean..." she joked and stuck her tongue out. "No but seriously, it's a big help. She's growing like crazy so the more clothes the better. She still hates shoes, though." she said, playing with her daughter and just loving the time they had.

She loved when he used his nickname for her. She hated when other people used it, but Alex was an exception. "The magazine wants me to go back soon." she said, frowning. Truth, she would love to go on tour, especially with her child, but she knew the magazine would freak. But then it dawned on her...she worked for AP. "Wait... If I can get Flyzik to agree to it, I can say I'm doing a piece like "Life on tour with All Time Low" or something like that." she said excited. She would love to go out on the road with them, show Adrianne how her dad and uncles work. "Do you think Flyzik would go for it?"

Alex nodded his head. "Oh, without a doubt." He said positively. "Flyzik loves you and the little squirt almost as much as he loves Mickey Mouse! He'd love for you to do the piece." Alex was starting to get excited. He was going to see Tatum and Adrianne. It would be like high school all over again, except there'd be no Lisa. Alex was shocked that he really didn't mind all that much about that. "Looks like little miss Adri is starting to pass out..." Alex whispered, noticing that her head was starting to droop. "I'll talk to you both later...have a good nap Adri! Daddy loves you! He blew her a couple of kisses before they signed off of FaceTime.

The singer sighed and sat up, deciding it was time to change out of his batman pajamas. He settled for a GlamrKlls t-shirt and his American flag jeans, along with a GlamrKlls snapback before walking out to the lounge area. "What's up, homos?" Alex asked, pushing Jack off of the couch so he could sit down. Jack rolled his eyes and sat next to him. "Yo, Matt, would you be alright with Tatum coming out here to do a-" Alex didn't even have a chance to finish what he was saying before Matt answered. "Yes, yes, yes! I don't care what she does as long as she and my little friend are here!"
