August 12, 2015: Bibliophile Rank

Hello, Mibbians!

Send us photos of your books and earn a permanent custom rank!

It's simple, just send in your photos of the book you're reading, your bookshelves, your book piles, your reading nook, your e-readers, screenshots of what you're currently reading etc. and we'll hook you up with the new permanent custom rank "Bibliophile." You'll have this rank forever and you'll be able to toggle between your bibliophile rank, your regular member rank, and any other custom ranks you may during Mibba events.

How to Submit

On Twitter

• Post your photo to your Twitter account with the hashtag #MibbaBooks. You can also tag us: @mibba_com.
• Once we see your photo, we'll send you a DM asking for your Mibba username, so we can add your custom rank here on the site.

On Tumblr

To submit on Tumblr, there's two ways...

• If you have a Tumblr account, post your photo on your Tumblr blog and tag us: @mibba-blog. You can also add MibbaBooks to the post's tags and we'll be able to find you that way.
• Be sure to include your Mibba username in your post, so we can add your custom rank here on the site.

or

• If you don't have a Tumblr account, you can submit your photo directly to our Tumblr blog here.
• Be sure to include a link to your Mibba profile in your submission, so we can add your custom rank here on the site.

Remember:

• If you post and tag us in your photos via Tumblr, we will reblog them on our Tumblr blog: Mibba-Blog.Tumblr.com.
• If you submit your photo directly to our Tumblr, we'll publish your submission, so your photo appears on our Tumblr blog: Mibba-Blog.Tumblr.com
• If you send in submissions via Twitter, we'll retweet your photo on our Twitter account: @Mibba_com
• You will be credited* and we will never claim ownership of your photos.

Crediting
If you post your photos on Twitter and tag us, we will retweet your tweet (WE WILL NOT REPOST IT), so all your credits will remain intact.
If you post your photos on Tumblr and tag us, we will reblog your post (WE WILL NOT REPOST IT), so all your credits will remain intact.
If you submit your photo directly to our Tumblr account, we will add whatever credits you include and we'll add a link to your Mibba profile.

July 1, 2016: Email Address

Hello, Mibbians!

Just another reminder about email addresses.

1. Please Keep Your E-mail Address Up-to-Date

If you are ever locked out of your account (and you need a password reset), you can ONLY do so if you have access to the e-mail address linked to your Mibba account.

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO RECOVER OR RESET A LOST OR FORGOTTEN PASSWORD OR USERNAME.

2. Please Make Sure You Are Using a Compatible Email Provider

A couple of month's ago, an Email Notification Issues announcement was made. We've been having trouble with some e-mail providers - specifically MSN accounts (@hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, etc.). They are not letting our emails through. This means that if you have an MSN account linked to your Mibba account, you need to change it. If not, you won't be receiving our e-mails.

If you have any of the e-mail providers above (or if you're having trouble receiving e-mails from Mibba), please update your e-mail address with a more compatible provider. In the past, Gmail has been the most reliable for Mibbians - and it's also free and easy to use.

Mibbians, please be mindful of the site's rules while engaging in discussions and conversation on Mibba. This goes for the forums, the blogs and blog comments, and any other place on the site. While it can be great to discuss current events, politics, and even morals here on Mibba, only do so if you can remain respectful of both the site's rules and the site's members.

You may have noticed over the past few days that when accessing certain parts of the site, an Error 500 message appears alongside some other site issues such as blogs and stories appearing in reverse chronological order. This is a site-wide issue and is something we are aware of and working to have resolved. Please bear with us as we try to restore parts of the site to their original state.
