With All My Heart

Asha was walking down the street, fear instilling in her that she may not have somewhere to go that night. She heard a smooth hiphop beat and slowed down by the door way of what seemed like a studio of some sort, she smiled a little - this was her forte. She loved to dance it was her world and her dream career, she have people do her dances and have fans love the dance just as much as she did. The class seemed to be a bunch of new people because they were having a bit of trouble and she had to refrain from correcting them because this was not her class and not like it was where she'd come from.

Ryan sighed stopping the music. "Again." He said. "From the top." He said restarting song, walking around the classroom. He brow rose noticing a prying nose. "No auditing." He said, his hint for her to leave. He turned back to the room full of people. Irratated, he stopped the music again. "We're done for the night." He rolled his eyes, at the fact they couldn't get basic dance moves down. "Practics, same time tomorrow." He shouted watching them gather their things and leave.

Once alone he started up the music, letting his body move to the beat. Thinking of ways to edit the dance, hoping they would be able to get simplier moves down.

She widened her eyes, "You could always guide them, they're just raising their right legs to high, it's throwing them off too much," she told him softly with a small smile, "I'll just go... now," she said softly as she pointed in the direction down the street.

Asha loved to dance, and teaching others how to dance it was fun for her she had a lot of patience with other people which he clearly didn't but she knew that his class would get it or he'd edit the dance so that they did get it.

Ryan shut the music off, chasing after her. "Wait." He called out. Watching her come to a stand still before facing him. "You think you can do it." He asked, intreaged. He hadn't asked to teach people they just asked and he really wasn't in a posistion to say no. "Show me."

She nodded and walked into the building then set her bag down and nodded for him to hit the music,"Okay," she sighed a little as she closed her eyes and stretched a bit first them did the moves as they were meant to be done. It was like instinct to her - she just didn't know how not to dance, it was like this was all she was meant to do.

When the music ended, "Did I do alright?" she asked him softly.

Ryan tried to compose himself, he gave a few claps. "So you know your stuff." He said, leaning back against the wall made of mirrors. "Why haven't I seen you around before?" He asked, his eyes roaming her body. Taking in her height, weight, and leg lenght; impressed with what he was looking at. In his head trying to round about how to fit her in.

She smiled a little,"I left home... currently living no where," she told him lightly,"I am from Las Vegas but I hate it there so I came here, California... city of dreams right?" she said to him smiling a little.

Her stomach growled and she sighed,"I didn't think this plan through very well," she said as she shrugged and went to grab her duffle bag full of clothes and personal items.

"My name is Asha," she told him softly.

Nodding he smiled. "Ryan." He frowned watching her. "I may know of a place you could stay." He bit his lip, not wanting to seem over eager to havd her stay. He just need talent to fall into his lap, and she seemed to be that talent.

She smiled a little as she stepped forward,"Where?" she laughed,"I'll work for food and a place to stay.." she told him lightly as she looked at him. She was starving to say the least, what she wouldn't kill for french fries and fried catfish at that very moment but she knew meals like that would be a delicacy to her and she would cherish them whenever she got it.

Ryan smiled, motioning for her to fallow him back through the building. "Most of us shared a pad." He explained. "A few made it big and others went home, so it's just me right now." He told her pushing open the door that lead to a four bedroom apartment. "Use to they wouldn't let us co-ed or have people out side of the programs live here, but a few of us needed room mate to help with rent." He said showing her around. "You can have dibs on any of the room, some double."

She looked at him and looked around,"What is this place?" she asked him,"I've never heard of it," she said lightly as she chewed on the inside of her lip as she fallowed him, she hadn't expected the place to be so big on the inside.

The halls were pretty much empty and there were several doors on the end,"What do I have to do?" she asked him lightly with a small smile. Right now beggars couldn't be chosers, she needed a place to lay her head and this was better than nothing.

Ryan smiled turning to her. "Well I'll let you stay here for free until you can get a job." He nodded. "But you have to help me teach those no stepping talent seekers." He told her. "But we call it The Loft. it's mainly for run downs who can't catch a break." He shrugged it off, really it was an old run down build his parents owned. They gave it to him to for his dance studio, a place to dance and sleep was home to him.

She nodded a little,"Thank you," she told him softly and looked down,"I don't know how to thank you," she told him lightly as she pushed a hand through her hair then looked around, the doors had title on them - shared or vacant which made it easier for her to know which was which. Chewing on her bottom lip she smiled at him.

"What if as payment I cook for you? I'm quite the cook," she told him lightly,"And I'm not the best at making friends,"

Ryan laughed out. "Food does sound good right now." He smiled. "How about we go grab a bite, and you can work on that payment tomorrow." He smirked down at her. He liked to be able to help in the friend department, but all he really could offer was himself. He really wasn't interested in making friends, dancing was the most important thing in his life now.

She nodded a little,"Sure, sounds like a good idea," she said to him as her stomach growled a little and she laughed sheepishly then looked at him. "Lead the way," she told him lightly as she rubbed her neck a little.

@ Red Death.
Smiling he motioned for her to fallow, deciding the little diner down the way would be a nice place to eat. "So what made you want to dance?" He asked trying to get to know her, and since they shared the same passion for it why not start there.

"I don't really know honestly, it just felt right to me. My parents put me in ballet when I was little but I met this girl who did you hip hop dancing, and I just started dancing... it was... fun, I love it," she told him smiling a little.

Ryan smiled, opening the diner door for her. "Yeah some people it just comes natural." He chuckled. Sliding into a small booth, smiling over at her. "Yeah well I can't really say the same, my parents wanted me to be a lawyer or a dentist." He laughed. "So where are you from?"

"Las vegas," she told him smiling a little as she slid into the booth across from him. "It's a busy city, I hated it there," she snorted a little as she looked at him.
