I love the idea of this! I would also love to be a suspect! The theme could be considered around arson/murder like a giant school (you know, the ones with all the typical high school rooms but with the infamous boiler room, pool gym, basement, ect.). Like there is an arson, school shooting taking place and everyone is locked in with no way of getting out until the cops storm in but the witnesses and suspects have to unveil the whole story of what happened to them while they were trying to hide from the shooting.

Oh man. Weird I'd love to participate in this.

Think How could we keep it organized though? I feel that if everybody is writing pieces of the story, there will need to be an "overseer" (probably multiple), who make sure there aren't contradictions, and that it all goes together without being convoluted and messy.

I just have one question: is this going to have an actual plot line that each author is expected to follow, or will it just be everyone trying to claim their innocence like it was in the "Who Done It?" book, with no real hook or clues to lead you to figure it out? Because that just got so repetitive to me...
I know when we did the site wide relay story, we started out with a plot, and after each author wrote their piece it evolved and the next author continued off from where the previous left off, so there was a real plot and you could actually follow along. This sounds a little different than that though.

This sounds awesome! I would love to do a suspect!

I think it would be awesome for someone to be murdered/massacred at a public event that's being broadcasted to the world. The murderer leaves a note behind with a clue for the detectives that points the finger at the major/some government official. The murderer continues to murder and drop off clues, or just drop clues while pointing out all of these crazy under wraps schemes that the government has been trying to keep on the down low.

Then in the end the major twist could be that it is actually the government official's wife who killed the people involved and lead them to the truth, because she flipped under pressure.

This is a WONDERFUL idea! I think an interesting plot-line would be this:

There's a giant charity gala of some sort when a diplomat (or someone else of high importance) is murdered and put on display with some sort of ominous message (i.e. "you're next" or "you can't run," etc.). The place gets locked down so nobody can get in or out so the killer doesn't slip from their grasp. Then, more of the guests start to die and turns the investigation into a race against the killer.

I think this is a fantastic idea and I would love to be apart of it seeing as I studied Criminology and love this type of stuff.

I think it would be cool to like have a series of murders take place in like this huge hotel that's holding all these different events so you get people from all walks of life there. After like the first two murders or so the whole place can be shut down so the killer doesn't escape. And maybe we can not only write as like suspect and witnesses but also the victims and have them say what they were doing and how they were feeling in the minutes before they were killed without giving too much away.
