:( I like the idea but I don't think it'll work too good on Mibba... some people are unreliable and it sounds like it would be too convoluted...

I think a school trip might be fun. But have it be no one notices Jane/John Doe is even missing until like a couple or days or so after the trip is over and they are all settled in. This way no one knows did Jane/John disappear during the actual trip or sometime after.

Either way I think you can totally count me in on this. Mr. Green

I'd definitely be in! Like one high school gets targeted, and some of the suspects/witnesses get killed afterwards. Everyone thinks its a group suicide, but after further investigation they believe it was a murder. The only thing in common was one party that went wrong the year before. (Fire, first death/sibling revenges and kills everyone at the party)

I would love to see something that has to do with a mad scientist that invents a deadly virus of some kind that effects a variety of people. Government trying to find the source as well as keep the public from panicking.

What kind of virus and the effects is totally up to you guys :)

This sounds so awesome on so many levels. I'm definitely game! How about the crime scene be like a group of kids on a field trip find a dead body in the floor boards of their cabin and have the murderers be one of the counselors or something? Idk, that's all I can think if right now but I might have something better in the morning, this is gonna be so amazing

I see a lot of problems on the horizon with this.
First off, making sure the writers actually update.
Keeping people from posting way too much filler.
Keeping people in with the plot.
Everyone has a different idea for this so far.

In the end, wouldn't it just be like a huge co-write?
Except you'd have to discuss everything first.
Because you can't just wing it with that many authors.
    It would fall apart.
I've seen it on a lot of other stories.

Writer A, Writer B, and Writer C don't talk about the plot.
They don't even discuss what's going to happen next.
Therefore, one writer makes decisions the others don't agree with.
And everyone suffers from there on out.

I had this happen with a co-write of mine.
    We had five writers.
Writer A didn't update like she should have and we had random chapters.
Writer B just ended up quitting on us.
Writer C actually posted chapters and moved the plot.
    Writer D barely updated.
Writer E might as well have been nonexistent.

Plus, if someone doesn't update, won't it mess up the story?

This sounds like it would be a good idea, but as mentioned before, problems concerning plot development/updating are foreseen. If this actually does happen, I'll be sure to read every single chapter. :)

If it does happen, we won't have a pre-ordered posting schedule (like one chapter wouldn't be dependent on another author completing something), so we wouldn't have to worry about waiting for specific updates/writers.

So, for example, if we're collecting witness statements, it won't matter which order they come in. We'd just post it as it comes in.

We're likely to post clues/new information once or twice a week, so ever new set of statements (from witnesses or reporters or investigators) would be written with new information taken into account.

Basically, the way want to set it up, one user's chapter wouldn't be dependent on another. Most cluster of chapters would be more dependent on the information we release.

    * Sorry if that's confusing.

So, it could be where a bunch of seriel killers come together and have a killing spree, but at the end, right before the police catch them, they all get killed. Now, they have to find the killer's of the killers. But, as the investagation goes on, it seems like all alibis check out, all witnesses say it was each other, and there is no way any person could have killed the people. But, what if, it wasn't a person who killed them, but instead, something very inhuman? c: Hope you like my idea!

Sounds so cool! I'd love to participate!

What about a murder on a boat, a really large boat, and no one can escape until the murderer is found?

    I'm in!

But I think it should be done by the most obvious suspect. That way everyone disregards him/her from the beginning! Also, just curious, will each author have a character assigned to them or will they be made up by them?
