Have you read the story entirely recently? Because that would be my first suggestion so that it becomes familiar again.

i don't really want to say this but i think it's for the best if i don't continue writing this story i just don't have the motivation to write these days and i don't want to have to force a chapter that's terrible. i'm really sorry, but this is a great story and idea and i don't want to bring down the quality with forced chapters.

Because I hate to see people leave and I also hate hearing people have no motivation to write, is there any way we could help you get back into writing?? Like, I'm sure we would all be happy to put the story on hiatus in order to help a fellow author get her mojo back.

(But don't feel pressured. I don't mean to sound it if you think I am. I just like helping people get their motivation back for writing, probably due to the fact I take creative writing as part of my degree.)

I'd be okay with keeping it on hiatus if it helped, definitely. I don't mind chapters taking ages if it means it isn't going to be forced.

It was Gabbe's turn, but she seems to have removed herself as an author from the story, so I could take over her character for now and try to get this kick-started again either today or tomorrow?

We could skip over her and have it explained later on that she's either missing, been arrested because of the snitch, etc.

Hmm, that's a good idea actually! We could have the next chapter as an emergency meeting or whatever because of the arrest, I assume it'd put everyone on edge.

What do you think of the idea above? We either need to get someone else writing Gabbe's character or we can have her arrested / missing and put the rest of the group on edge.

I just checked, it's Veronica's chapter next so if we did that I could have that Eiko sent them a Japanese letter/leaflet thing to summon them for a meeting, and when they arrive Eiko doesn't talk to them in English which annoys Veronica like hell, but eventually they manage to get her to write/draw (?) that Eriko is missing and it's not like her to not have contacted Eiko, which puts them on edge. Then I was thinking that Veronica returns home only to find that the police are in the sitting room and they're there to tell her husband that they've been informed by an anonymous source that there appears to be a hit out on his life. And Veronica links this with Eriko's disappearance and thinks it's her.

That's good! It kind of pushes everyone in the wrong direction for the snitch as well, which will be awesome.

Yes, exactly! Besides, no one would ever suspect Edwin - he's too under Veronica's thumb to do anything. Plus, why would he snitch on the man who he wants out of the way anyway?

It's totally cool, I don't think we've made any decisions as to what we're doing yet. So what do you think. Have Gabbe's character arrested / disappear or have someone else write her?

Don't worry, I haven't started writing yet. But if you agree with her being arrested/disappear, then I can get that chapter written up this week.

It would push the others and they'd panic right? Then everything goes downhill.

Oh, I'm pretty excited! My load has lightened significantly since I'm halfway through my second sem and my college applications are done, so I'm ready to go back to writing!
