As we're waiting for Nathan's chapter, I was thinking that we should discuss what's coming next. We're getting closer to all the action and when he briefly spoke about it before, there were more authors, but as it's just the three of us, we should discuss it again so that we all know what's going down and not be stuck at our chapters when the time comes (also to see how many chapters we have left).

Hmmm... Veronica's getting antsy and wants to put the blame on the next best thing which is Eiko. But Edwin went to someone's door because he feels like Veronica is a threat who's going to expose their identities, so he would probably go to either Eiko or someone in the group who is remotely close to the twins which is Nathan or he would go to Greg. But I'm inclined to have him to go to Nathan though.

I'm 100% stuck with my chapter and was about to come and ask the same question, so this kinda works for me, having this conversation now.

I remember before we had said that Edwin was eventually going to rat them all out, is that still happening? I do think that he'd definitely be worried (he's a worrier ) so having him discuss it with someone (and Nathan is about to get hella worried as well, because Veronica scares the shit out of him on a normal day) might be kind of... interesting? We only ever see them (well, not always but most of the time) discuss it as a good thing, the murders, so maybe seeing some of them getting really worried about the group and their safety would be kind of interesting to read? I dunno.

In terms of the murders, depending on how fast everything was moving, I was going to have Rae kick-start hers soon, but are we wanting any murders to go ahead or are we wanting people to start getting caught?

We can still have Edwin get caught. Like he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and he doesn't have any alibi, perhaps? Let's say that the man Eriko wanted to be killed was murdered by someone unknown, like in that NCIS episode where this guard stumbled inside the room, bleeding to death.

Didn't the police say that they were worried that there was a hit on Edwin too since someone tipped that Veronica's husband will be killed? We can make the police have like a witness protection thingy and a police officer comes inside Edwin's house and sees the dead body in the bathtub?

I'd like some killers to be caught - like Greg, because I think he would leave something as evidence against him in the crime scene when his daughter calls him or something and he panics and stuff. When like one is caught, Veronica has an episode and threatens everybody I don't know I'm rambling again.

I was actually having Edwin knocking on his victim's door to warn them, but as I didn't specify he could have knocked at Nathan's door for your chapter, Victoria. He's still going to be the one who is trying to bring them down this year, but he will definitely try and protect Veronica no matter what.

Greg was actually going to not participate this year. He bailed on the last meeting, and with his daughter thinking he's cheating on her mum, it's really thrown him. He was doing it for both of them but all he's done is make his daughter think that he's spitting on her mother's memory. And he knows how much of a threat Veronica and the others are, so I was going to have him slink away in the night with his daughter.

But I am definitely up for Edwin being killed, if we go that route.

Hmm, I actually like the idea of him knocking to tell his victim. It kinda starts the downfall of everything in the end.

Rae is pretty close to bailing, but she's going to go ahead with help from Nathan. Which they are obviously keeping quiet from everybody else, because that's just now how it's done. Nathan'll go ahead because he's a cocky wee shit, but I don't know what's going to happen to him so any suggestions would be fabulous.

We could 100% do that. It would be awesome.

I just realised Edwin's victim is Nathan's sister's fiancé. Where would his home be? With Nathan's sister or somewhere else? Because if it was with Nathan's sister (and consequently with him) then having Edwin knock and instead find Nathan there could happen in your chapter, whereas if it's elsewhere then Edwin has successfully spoken to the fiancé and perhaps your chapter could be him returning to where he lives with his sister and telling them about being warned about a hit being out on his life.

That way, Ian and the fiancé have been warned - so that's two who are alert, one who already has the police involved. And one killer is missing (was it official that she's been arrested, or it a more sinister undertone of being killed? I know we spoke about it being arrested/disappeared without specifying) so it disadvantages them a lot.

When all this goes down - some killers being killed, some arrested, some targets actually being hit - I was also thinking that this should be in one round of chapters? That way, we can either end it either with Eiko's chapter being the last, or an epilogue that closes it all up nicely.
