Also, I'll be writing third person 'cause it feels weird for me to write first person.

I prefer third person in a group write because it's so much easier to follow, but for my personal preference, I can write either first or third, past tense!

Third person it is then! That's another thing scored off of the list. It'll be a good challenge. Pushing the boundaries and all of that.

Now, the vigilante. I'm thinking that rather than having one person write them, they could be a character that anyone can use within the chapters. Obviously, we need to come up with a name, personality and gender for our invisible justice-seeker. Any thoughts?

I was thinking that the characters think that the snitch would be someone ordinary like them in a sense you know? The vigilante could be someone who just arrived a few months ago - a newbie in town, per se.

I think a newbie might be too predictable, y'know? Maybe the vigilante could be someone who had been tracking them for the past few years, and the reason why they managed to steal three kill lists this year is because the tracking and watching of the previous years helped them. Like, they had no concrete evidence that it was these killers who were doing it so just going to the police with their word would mean nothing and they never actually see any of them killing anyone but like a year or two ago they found out about the kill lists and they took a gamble at the three taken this year to try and get justice for the crimes where there's no evidence.

Maybe the vigilante could be someone they trust? It will bring a whole lot of drama

I just came back from a movie and there was a similar sort of plot but the person who caused the drama was someone trusted.

so maybe like, it could be a trusted person, they found the list, and don't really know what it is, but they do?

Can I make the temporary layout for the story? It makes me cringe whenever I see the plain layout

I was gonna start on it sometime, but I like having a banner to work with but if you want to I don't see why not.

When you have a banner that's more suited to the story than what I've picked, you can change it

Guys I am so sorry for my absence. Between my internet and overtime at work I haven't had a chance to get on. I'll pop in after work tonight and put in my two cents about everything.

Also, how would you guys feel about another writer coming in (possibly to write the vigilante)?

I think it might, if we maybe have the vigilante chapter every four or five chapters. I'll wait on what the others think first though.

Also, would you be able to use your fabulous banner skills to make us a fabulous banner before we post the story?

I like the idea of the vigilante being someone they can trust! Right, so there's another writer that would like to join and I'm thinking that they could write the vigilante chapters. Thoughts? I'm fine with it, but I wanted to get your opinions before I said yes. After all, we're going to be working as a team on this one and I don't want to make decisions without speaking to you guys first.

Also, posting order will be decided, but I think we should maybe wait until everyone has their characters down. I was maybe thinking that we could post in the acronym order. Like...R would do the first, E would be second and so on so forth. That might be a bit silly though, so I'll let you guys decide on that one.

I'm doing some overtime at work today (as I was yesterday and Saturday) but when I get back in tonight, I'm going to see if I can write up a better (and shorter) story summary.

And lastly, if you guys would be able to work on your separate character bios (personality, appearance, everything like that) then that would be awesome if you could post them here when you're done so I can update everything. Also, if you have any pictures that you want to use for your characters, pop them in here too!

It's okay for me for another writer to write the vigilante. God knows it's hard (for me, I don't know about you guys) to write two characters at once without switching personalities.

It would be awesome if we start the story with them preparing for the next gathering. Maybe an encrypted e-mail or a letter would suffice.
