Jackson was outside in the corn fields, checking their family crops. Out of all the duties that he and his brother, Keith, had to do, checking on the crops was one that Jackson personally decided to be a duty for him. Ever since their papa died, things for the Miller boys have been busy, and some times Jackson didn't know if he was cut out to be a big help on the family's farm like his brother. As he walked down, looking at the corn crops, Jackson noticed someone pulling in. Right away, he started to wonder who it was, considering the fact that he didn't personal know anyone who drove an expensive little car like that. When he saw a woman emerge from it, he carefully paid attention to her face, trying to figure out who she was and what she was doing here. "Yes ma'am?" He said to the woman. "Can I help you with something?' He asked gently, looking at her. As he stood there, waiting for her to respond, he could tell right away that she wasn't from around here and was more than likely lost.
Hailey had just finished bringing in the last box from her F-120 pick up into her new apartment. When she set the box down in the middle of her new apartment, she just stood there for a moment, taking in the new area. She couldn't believe it, she was finally on her own once again, and life was going pretty good. The only thing that bugged her was that now that she had graduated from college with a Nursing Degree, she made the crazy decision to move back to her small town in Oklahoma. Sure, she could have moved to Dallas, Texas, like her original plan, but that plan just didn't fall through. That's right, her Dallas plan was that she was going to move there with her, at the time, fiancée, get a job at the hospital, getting married in December after a year and half engagement, and just enjoy life as a Doctor's wife. However, everything changed after she caught her fiancée with her college roommate. Each of them, her friend and fiancée, didn't want to see her leave and vowed that nothing else would go on, but she couldn't do that. If they wanted to be together, that was fine with her, she would just move on with her life, without either of them. So with that decision, she made the move back to the small town she grew up in.
