I don't care either way but me and Kayla would kind of have to rethink our next chapter

- Codie always dreaded going to her father’s office, but like a good girl she sucked it up throwing on her big girl panties and getting it over and done with. It had been the same shit. The two would share and awkward hug, talk about how him and mum had a nice breakfast together, then would complain about some underpaid worker of his, and then he’d finally let her get a word in and then send her off on her way because he was just too busy.
I’m stopping by, prepare yourself xx Before hopping back on her bicycle and riding in the direction of her next destination and dialing up dear Willow. “Hi darling. I was gonna stop and say hi to Blaire before heading back—” Given her the okay to drive across the street Codie hauled ass only to be honked at. She stopped from crossing suddenly before cursing the guy in the car. “Fuck off wanker, It’s my go!” She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair and realized Willow was still on the line. “And I was wondering if you wanted anything?” She sat on her bike for a moment before nodding her head and leaving the two’s conversation with a farewell.
Slipping her phone into her backpack and continued on. It didn’t take long before she found herself parking and chaining up her bicycle and heading in. “Starbucks hadn’t been as crowded as she had anticipated today which had been a bonus for her. “Oi, Charlie. Where’s Blaire?” Codie leaned against the counter and watched as Charlie, the baby faced, blue eyed, future Calvin Klein model laughed and called out for her blonde haired acquaintance. “On her way out love.” Codie gave the boy a wink and watched as she busted through the door.
“You get my message yeah?” Blaire smiled and began on the usual. “You’re late, what the bloody hell happened?” The blonde raised an eyebrown. Codie growled in annoyance at the memory of the ass who almost hit her. “Ran into the mob, you know the usual.” Codie gave her a wink and smiled.
“So you have any plans tonight?” Codie began to poke at the straws in the container holding them. Poor thing was one of those, the ones who could barely sit in one place and just focus. “Not that I know of really. Why what’s up?” Losing interest in the straws Codie began to tap her fingers to the counter. “My best friend owns a bar with one of his mates. Pretty sweet place, you should come with me tonight and check it out? I’m gonna see if I can drag Willow along and Aj.” She looked up and smiled at her friend.
“It’ll be a blast. Eli gave me the day off tomorrow… definitely getting pissed drunk tonight.” Codie wink as two drinks were handed to her. “I don’t know, we’ll see. Might just make it a night at home if my mate doesn’t call me last minute like he always does. But I will let you know.” Codie nodded sipping on her drink. “Sounds like a plan. You have my number and you know where I live if you change your mind.” Codie gave her a wave goodbye turning around to only come in contact with a line of people. It was the biggest details that Codie was always oblivious to, but when it came down to the smallest of things she was always there to pin point it out.
Slipping out of Starbucks had been the perfect moment for Codie as she watched some asshole ride away with her bicycle. She sighed knowing there was not much she could do about it. It had been one other time that he bicycle had been stolen, unfortunately this would count number two. Taking a sip of her drink she continued to walk home by foot.
Slipping on her earrings Codie made her way into the kitchen where Willow was. “Are you sure you don’t want to go with me? Lou and Ni have yet to see you at the bar.” Despite knowing the outcome of this scene and the ones to come Codie would continue to invite Willow out. She had grown close to her room mate through the duration of their time together. “It’s okay Dee. I’m just going to stay in, shower, and put on a film. You go on though and have a brilliant time.” Codie nodded and watched the brunette head to her room for the shower.
It was about 8:30 when Codie slipped out of the house, ID and money in her bra. Phone in her pocket, and an open mind about tonight. The Four Leaf Tavern wasn’t but a couple blocks about from her flat, which made walking home from said drinking activities would be a breeze.
When Codie arrived she headed into the pub and hollered out to the familiar faces on her way to the back of the counter.
