    I got ISTP - Introvert/Sensing/Thinking/Perceiving.
I think it's pretty accurate although I don't agree with the occupations suited to my type.

Ooohh! I just retook the test today, hadn't taken it in a while. I got INTP, as I was before.

INTJ, which is pretty spot on but a little scary considering a lot of villains are based off of us.

My brother had me take this test when I was thirteen and I got INTJ. A couple of years ago I took it again and was still INTJ.
It's very accurate both in my strengths and my flaws. I have every INTJ fault that any one ever listed, it is almost humorous.
Also, the fields the INTJ is supposed to gravitate towards I definitely gravitate towards, and what I find especially funny is that the people and characters my family especially accuses me of being like are generally accepted to be INTJs.
So yes, I think it's very accurate.

I took the test sometime early this year, and I found that I was an INFJ. Incredibly rare, but it describes me to a T.

I got ESFP, and for the most part, I feel like it's spot-on.
I'm a little surprised that I'd be considered an extrovert, just because, though I consider myself to be outgoing, I do tend to get a little drained by social situations/outings and I have no qualms with spending time on my own.

And honestly, I would probably enjoy most of the occupations listed for my personality type XD

I've taken quite a few of these over the years and I get the same result every time: ISFJ

    It explains me perfectly.

You're more likely an ambivert then. I'm trying to remember where I read it, but there's a theory that many people are ambiverts. It might've been Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain, but I might be wrong. Think

INFJ, damn, I used to be INTP when I was younger.
It takes a while for your personality to settle; as we grow up, we develop and refine different functional stacks (usually tertiary and inferior during adolescence, and dominant and auxiliary during childhood) of our personality. So that might account for the change.
    - - -
It might help you both to learn about functional stacks of the MBTI and how they work for introverted types and how they work for extroverted types. By understanding how the different types process information, because that is a large element of MBTI Personality Typology, you may be able to see what type you identify with more. Truly knowing your personality type requires a lot of introspection. XD
    • INFJs have the following function stack: Introverted Intuition (Dominant Function), Extroverted Feeling (Auxiliary Function), Introverted Thinking (Tertiary Function) and Extroverted Sensing (Inferior Function). [Ni, Fe, Ti, Se]
    • INTPs have the following function stack: Introverted Thinking (Dominant Function), Extroverted Intuition (Auxiliary Function), Introverted Sensing (Tertiary Function) and Extroverted Feeling (Inferior Function). [Ti, Ne, Si, Fe]
    • ESFPs have the following function stack: Extroverted Sensing (Dominant Function), Introverted Feeling (Auxiliary Function), Extroverted Thinking (Tertiary Function) and Introverted Intuition (inferior Function). [Se, Fi, Te, Ni]
    • ISFPs have the following function stack: Introverted Feeling (Dominant Function), Extroverted Sensing (Auxiliary Function), Introverted Intuition (Tertiary Function) and Extroverted Thinking (Inferior Function). [Fi, Se, Ni, Te]
Unsurprisingly, I'm an INFJ. It explains so many aspects of my life. It was really handy when my family took their MBTIs too, because it helped communication between us become more clear and suited to each other's understandings. (I hope that makes sense; my brain is strings of fatigue)

I used to be ENFJ, I just took the test and now I'm ENTJ.
So I went from using my emotions more to using my brain more, I guess.

    @ chromatography.

When I get the chance, I'm definitely going to look into this a little further because I had never even heard of the term "ambivert" until now. It's all very fascinating, and I'm always up for a little introspection and self-discovery, so thanks for sharing!

I'm really confused but alright. I took the test the OP included and I got "Introvert/Intuitive/Feeling/Judging" but... IIFJ isn't a type...? When I took a different test I got INFJ. And when I look at the INFJ page on the website OP posted, IT'S THE SAME THING BUT ALL IT DID WAS SWITCH THE FEELING AND JUDGING XD I really like the second website I used. It explained things well.

It's funny that I blogged about having issues finding someone I'm interested in, especially after reading this: Getting to that point can sometimes be a challenge for potential partners, especially if they are the impatient type, as INFJs are often perfectionistic and picky.

Also, this is very true and opened my eyes: Needless to say, this is a tall order, and INFJs should try to remember that they are a particularly rare personality type, and even if they find someone compatible in that sense, the odds that they will also share every interest are slim. If they don’t learn to meet others halfway and recognize that the kind of self-improvement and depth they demand is simply exhausting for many types, INFJs are likely end up abandoning healthy friendships in their infancy, in search of more perfect compatibilities.

It mentioned INFJs are "mysterious" a few times? Think I know this isn't the astrology thread, but as a Piscean, when I read about my sign I see "mysterious". So I get the impression that I come off as very mysterious, since even my personality type is described as mysterious...? XD

    I am INFP - Introvert/Intuitive/Feeling/Perceiving

The description does sound a lot like me. Compassionate, capricious, passionate about my beliefs and love ideals, high standards for myself, dislike of rules and orders etc. It's quite interesting!

The careers all appeal to me too. I'd secretly love to be an actress or writer.

Years ago I was ENFP so I've changed from an extrovert to an introvert basically. That sounds about right... Smile

I am INFP, or "the mediator," and the description is scarily accurate from career (I spent six years aspiring to become a writer, be it author or journalist before settling on social work) to simply avoiding phone calls.

The sections on friendships and relationships were particularly interesting. I do find that I prefer to maintain a nice mental and emotional distance from people and that I do tend to be too idealistic. Even the part about maintaining a cordial and friendly work environment seemed pretty accurate.

Haha, apparently us INFPs are enigmatic. tehe

I was pleasantly surprised that some famous INFPs are William Shakespeare, J.R.R Tolkien, Homer, and Tom Hiddleston. Wow
