Finley smiled. "Yeah, I suppose you're right." She said quietly, eating another spoonful of her ice cream. "I think it does for most people. Unless you're one of those really popular kids, but then again, in like ten or fifteen years those are the ones who usually end up at home in their parents' basement or something." She felt like there was a balance to everything really, and it was ironic how life worked sometimes. "That's why I don't get cones. They're too messy for me." She let out a quiet laugh, seeing him lick what had dripped onto his knuckles as opposed to a napkin. "You do know that there's something called a napkin...you might want to try using it some time." She teased.
"I'm pretty sure that you know exactly what I'm getting at, love." Josh murmured quietly. He knew that she knew what he was talking about and she was just pretending not to. "I won't need to protect you though, so I guess a reward won't be necessary anyway. Seeing as you aren't afraid of heights and all." He shrugged his shoulders, a slight smirk tugging at the corners of his lips.
