Okay, I am a sucker for stories based on songs, like really badly. But the thing with contests with that as a theme, is that most of them always have the same songs, by the same bands to base your piece on.
Thats why I decided to do a song contest with a twist to it.
Below are listed songs, that i've never seen in a song contest before, and most of those artists, i've never seen either.
Basicly, what you need to do is pick one song and write a one short/short story based on it.
Since those songs aren't that popular here, I included a part of each songs so you can choose whisely which one you are picking without having to search for all of them. But this doesn't mean that you have to write your piece on that part of lyrics. It can based on any part of the song that you want it to be based on.
Rules
1-Mibba guidelines apply.
2-Proper grammar, spelling, capitalization, etc. Doesn't need to be perfect. Just try your best :)
3-Minimum of 800 words.
4-If chaptered, no more than 5 chapters. At least 4000 words. (Needs to be finished by the deadline.)
5-No prewrites.
6-I really don't care what it is about, everything is accepted.
7-A link to this contest in the summary.
8-Can be any rating. Just rate it appropriately.
9-If you change your username or drop out, please let me know.
