    STORY INFORMATION
    rough summary:
Witches have been in a fight for (#?) years with another coven of Warlocks who live in their area. A demon was the one to kill a member of the coven, and had them blame the other coven. When other Wiccans have been disappearing, or found dead, they find out that the demons, vampires, werewolves, etc. have teamed up to rid the world of Witches and Warlocks alike.

    STORY PLOT IDEAS

    COVEN FEUD
A demon had killed a member of each/one coven, and made it seem like the other had done it.
They're both absorbed in the war in order to destroy the other coven first, so therefore they don't really notice a lot of other things that's going on. (Meaning, the deaths of other witches)

    UNDERWORLD WAR
Coven 1 and Coven 2 are the oldest and considered the most powerful of the Wiccan underworld, their names are well known as well as feared. Having magic in their bloodlines make them top of the underworld pyramid. Demons hate the idea of being underneath magical humans, and so one of the oldest demons gathers an 'army' of underworlders (vampires, werewolves, etc) and plan to rid the world of Witches and Warlocks alike.

    CHARACTER BIOS

Rowan Astermoore | Age: 32 years old | written by: She Said Poptarts
Cryokinesis -- lower room and body temperature (at birth), the ability to freeze (ice) objects (after 25th)
    Personality and Background go here.

Nora Tate | Age: 84 years old | written by: castiel's vessel
Atmokinesis -- from birth (power to manipulate weather) and the power she developed from her personality at 25 was Telekinesis (power to manipulate and control objects with the mind).

She'll be calm minded and rationale, although at time she can lose her cool only to regain it when reminded of her inheritance and how she cannot gain it unless she truly assumes the abilities of Head Witch: calm at all times, able to relate to all witches so that there's honesty, able to control her emotions even when it comes to stressful or dangerous situations. She'll be half way there, after having enchanted her love, Victor, when she was 34 and removed any trace of magic from him as his life after it was discovered that she was to become Head Witch once Eileen passed on, and she couldn't allow them to kill him because she didn't know whether she'd be able to cope after it. Some of the younger witches who rely on their powers for everything annoy her because she knows that their powers are the most valuable assets a witch can have, but with their human side they have to embrace their abilities and rely on common sense and intuition most of the time.

Acacia | Age: 23 | written by: Oasis
Clairvoyance and Astrakinsis -- All the witches in her coven can sense that she holds power, but thinks she just needs more practice or time to mature into her powers before they give her a label. The ability to create electrical discharges and lightning bolts or electrons in machines.

Acacia isn't always thinking straight, kind of keeps to herself only really knowing her grandmother Eileen. Other than that, she's comfortable being alone and immersing in spell books trying to coax her powers out although, one wouldn't exactly call her "studious." She likes to take advantage of her charms and doesn't get herself tangled with coven affairs. Since she doesn't know what her powers are, only that she gets random bursts of energy like electricity, she's caused her fair share of accidents and doesn't really feel like she fits in with everyone. Because of that, she's become an easy target for way of a warlock to infiltrate.

Hey! I'm Kayleigh and I'm super excited for this because I'm a major fan of Charmed as well as all things supernatural, like witches and magic, etc.

    1. I vote for wandless! And the type of powers could range from projection to premonitions, to hexing people to mind control, to even telepathy?
    2. The feud could have been going on for centuries, and if they're slow ageing as well, some could have been around for the beginning of the feud while others could have been born after it had started but felt all the repercussions and such.
    3. Answered above!
    4. Um, banshees, vampires, demons, wendigos? I'm trying to recall creatures I know from other supernatural-type shows. XD
    5. Ooh, I think splitting could be fun. But I'm okay with writing from just one side if decided.

Also answers to some points from the to-do list:
    - to put it out there straight away, I would prefer not to be first in posting order but I can be if needed. Posting first doesn't bother me.
    - for group writes, I find third person, past tense is the best point of view to write in. I feel that it fits better like that.
    - they could be all related because that works or some could be related while others could just be really close friends but I'd think we would have to work that out a lot deeper.
    - and like I said, I'm fine with either original or fanfiction! Mr. Green

    - I don't want to write the first chapter either. XD
    - I have a bit trouble with writing in third, but I can do it.
    - I would like them to be related, yes. Doesn't all have to be siblings, like a cousin, aunt, something.
    - I'm leaning toward an Original story.

    - I'd like for them to have Wandless magic.
    - a century is good, maybe an aunt could be around for almost a century?
    - I like the slow ageing thing.
    - I like splitting, but I would want to write from the Witch side.

Since both covens have no idea that it was a demon that killed one of their own, they could be having difficulty finding the correct spell, or didn't think about summoning a spirit of whoever was killed. But when the deaths started happening, they could be getting signs from the 'other side' and they summon whoever it was, and they'll tell them it was a demon that killed them, not the other coven. And that could maybe bring them to work together, but the Warlocks still hold a grudge against them, because they weren't smart enough to ask the other side. SOMETHING LIKE THAT. Facepalm

An aunt would be good! And I'm fine with writing from either coven.

So, there's going to be one witch and one warlock killed by the demon, right? And when the witch was killed, her coven believed it was the warlocks, and when the warlock dies his coven believes it's the witches who killed him to get back at the witch who they didn't kill but the witches believe they did. And what from you're saying, either the dead witch or warlock (?) starts sending signs when the killing of the other witches by the downworlders(?) begin. So that spirit is then summoned by their coven/the opposite coven and they tell them that it was a demon who killed them? What if the two covens have to work together before they find out and then something happens which includes a huge bust up between some of the members and they cease all civilness and only reconcile to stop the downworlders after they summon that spirit and find out? Unless that was what you were suggesting anyway. XD

    So...
    1. they work together
    2. something happens that makes them stop playing nice
    3. signs happen, and they find out
    4. they work together again
    ?

Wait, so they find out during the big war, in the middle?

Maybe they could find out when they're losing, because they're still holding it against each other, and don't have their head in the game when working together. And that's when the spirit of whoever starts sending signs?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. If it's okay and fits. XD

That could work because as they're still holding it against each other, they're not trusting one another and trust would have to play a big part in fighting a war, and having the spirit start sending because they are going to lose the war completely unless they work together and they really don't want their bloodline to become extinct because of a misunderstanding.

That all sounds fine and dandy to me. I don't mind if we split, but I think I'll only want to write from the Witch's side. I had an idea for my character and maybe it'll help figure out whose spirit could let them know what's going on.

So my thought was that my character will have recently (by like a year or so) lost her human love. He was murdered and she's not exactly sure how (it was one of the demon out to get the covens), and her sorrow has made it difficult for her to use magic. Seeing as we're now looking for a spirit, here arises a potential option. Perhaps after much struggle with it, she (maybe even with the help of the other witches) eventually manages to summon her love's spirit and the gist of it is he informs her of what's going on because he has met the spirits of their ancestors on the other side.

Wow I've missed so much. Sorry I was gone forever! Anyways, all of this sounds really good so far. I think we should all just write from the Witch's side. It seems that that's what we're all favoring here anyways.

Wait, he informs her of what exactly?? The killing of the other witches?

    @ prism.
    @ She Said Poptarts

Also I'm fine with writing from just the Witches' side. And if we're going with slow ageing, are we going to include their actual age and then how old they look or are years measured differently as a witch? I was thinking of having my character being one of the older ones but I'm not too sure, so it'd depend on what you guys are thinking of for your character so that we don't have two almost identical characters.

Yeah, because he's in the spirit world and so are the witches/warlocks that have died. Since she summoned him (out of desperation to be with him again), the spirits have him relay the message. Obviously it's just an option. I'd be fine coming up with a different solution.

I think the older ones should look older or younger by choice. Maybe it takes a lot of energy to maintain their young appearance? I also like the idea of them looking young regardless. My character is going to be younger, so I could go either way on it.

    OK, witches pov it is!

I think my character will be young as well, she could be a bit of a 'piss off', maybe screw up a few things, like spells and potions. XD Or something. I still need to think about it, obviously.

And Jill, maybe your character could be a bit of a 'peacekeeper'? And when stuff gets crazy, and full of.. er supernatural drama, she'll go running to her old love to talk? Or something like that, I don't know. Facepalm

    Annnd like..

What if your character summons her love to get closure and that's how the others realise that they should have just summoned the one who died in the first place? I just think it'd be better if the one who died was the one who told them everything. But that's just me.

    @ She Said Poptarts
Yeah, like 80-odd but looks mid-20s. She could be one of the older ones but not quite the oldest?

I agree. Maybe her love just tells her before he disappears again that the one who died has a message for them, but he didn't have time to tell them what it was before his spirit was called back to the spirit world, so they summon the one that died to hear what she has to say.

    @ She Said Poptarts

I was thinking she just summons him the one time. She struggles with her magic and has been trying to summon him for a while, but hasn't been able to.

    Yeah, that would work nicely!

With the slow ageing, how would it work? Do they age normally during the first (?) years of life? Does it happen from birth? Or once they hit 25 in human years they age slowly?
