"I would probably say when I saw my dad in a new light. The type of light where, once you've seen what you've seen, you can never unsee it nor forget about it. As silly as this sounds, I was the type of person who didn't believe that bad things could happen to me. But after finding out that my dad was essentially a paedophile, well, it's hard to believe anything anymore." - Elyse Winters, Glow

"It was hard. It was just my father and I and we had little money. I began working at a young age, helping out the other women of the town in exchange for food or necessities. I enjoyed being close to my father but did I enjoy my childhood? No, I did not. Being a woman is not much better." - Belle Beaumon, Broken Illusion

"I guess I did. It was a lot easier being a child than it is an adult, and I had a better relationship with my mother back then as well. We still had our troubles but at least my dad was around then. It was only in my late childhood that they divorced and he moved away. I still saw him but that affected my relationship with my mother." - Tina Worthin, His Desire

Have you ever committed a crime? If yes, what was it? If you haven't, what crime would you be most likely to commit in your current life situation? And why?

"Never! The closest thing I've come to committing a crime is sneaking into the kitchens to eat cupcakes with James. Of course, the most trouble that could've gotten us is a detention, but I think the house elves will keep our secret. If I was going to commit a crime, I'd probably sabotage James's broom so he'd lose his next quidditch match. That's really send him for a loop." - Posey Ellison, Scatterbrained

What would you say is the worst trait you have? Are you doing anything to work on it? Why or why not?

"I wouldn't say I'm manipulative, but I do enjoy messing with Audrey's mind. She's my best friend's girlfriend, but for some reason that doesn't matter to me. I hate her and want her at the same time. So I guess that makes me conniving. I have a quick temper. Audrey would tell you that all my traits are the worst; and I guess she would be right. I know I'm an asshole. There is no point in changing who I am now, not when the world has gone to shit and the living are next in line to die," - James St. Claire, Dead & Sick

"I make my own decisions, my own choices. As of yet, I don't have anything to regret, and I don't believe I will if I'm being honest. I shouldn't regret the choices I make. I shouldn't." - Variel Helling, Unlovable.

"Yeah...yeah. I had a few boyfriends and girlfriends in high school - it wasn't really love or anything like that back then, though. I fell for a few guys in college, but neither of those relationships ended well and so that kinda fucked with me for a while. Then I fell in love with my best friend and needless to say, that was terrifying." - Anthony, Generation Why Bother

"I don't think that modern technology does more harm than help. It's pretty useful, really. How would I be able to get in touch with Alex if he needs me if it wasn't for modern technology? I love him, and I trust him, but sometimes my little prince needs his daddy. Technology keeps us close, even when we're apart." -- Jack, Daddy

"One song that I always find myself turning to in times of need would be "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes. The lyrics have always sort of stuck with me because it's a song about embracing the aspects of yourself that aren't so perfect and finding strength from them. There's also that ounce of faith that, even though things are not so great now, that pain isn't forever. There's always a silver lining." - Raven Reyes, Turpentine Kisses & Mistaken Blows

"I was myself with my mother, if that makes any sense to you. The last thoughtful thing someone did for me... My girlfriend invited my sister over, and considering we hadn't been speaking, I'll admit it was thoughtful." - Jeffrey Waite Till Death Do Us Part

I'm finally feeling proud of who I am, I'm finally happy to be the person I am. I'm proud of my values, of my ideologies, of my dreams, etc. So no, I wouldn't fulfill a mission that would go against every ethic bone in my body. I don't want to be forced to be someone I don't want to be. I don't want to follow people's expectations or orders anymore. I just want to be me. - Kiara, Human

I'm not scared of growing up, but I am scared of what the future will bring. I'm planning to bring up my baby with someone I barely know or like, and that scares the hell out of me. - Michelle, Teenage Dream

Along the same vein, are you scared of what the future may bring?

"I am beyond terrified of what the future may bring. I'm pregnant with my boyfriend's best friend's baby in an age where zombie hordes cross the fields every day. This future will most certainly bring death and horrible heartache along the way. My child will most likely not make it and I'm beginning to think that I won't either," - Audrey Hamilton, Dead & Sick

"The worst lie I've ever told? That's a hard one. I tell so many lies these days that I'm not sure where one starts and where one ends. I think the worst, though, would probably be that I'm okay. I'm not okay. I say I'm okay because I don't want to tell anyone how empty I am. I say I'm okay because I don't want to tell anyone that sometimes I don't sleep for two days or that I see shadows on my walls or that I'm scared of the dark but I have school during the day. I want to be okay, though, so that counts for something. Right?" - Giselle Van Halsen, Starsong

Building from that: Have you ever told a lie you thought would help someone, but resulted in the worst of ways?

"I've stopped trying to help people. I tried so hard for some long to be thoughtful and considerate of other people and I'm done. I just take care of myself now. Of course I tell lies, but I don't do it to help people anymore" - Luc St. Angele, The Fallen

"I'd have tried to make it work with Dan. Maybe I'm just romanticizing our relationship too much, but I feel like he was truly the one that got away. I've never loved anyone more than him, and I'm starting to wonder if I ever will." -Will Stuart, (untitled series)

My relationship with parents is good - we call often, we try to see each other as often as we can, but due to work getting in the way there have been less and less opportunities over the years. However, we keep trying to keep in touch and they do everything to reassure that they are there for me when I need it. I don't think I know what I'd do without them (or Scott, for that matter) because they keep me and my life in check. - Azra, An Astronomer's Unexplainable Love for the Universe
