    Adam

Adam Benjamin — 24 years old. After he got the vaccination as a kid, he completely lost his concept of time. His parents homeschooled him and he was unable to attend college. However, he has been able to make a living writing books about his condition. Because he was homeschooled and didn't attend college, he has poor social skills and has very few relationships outside of his family members. He had a very brief relationship once, but he was dumped because he wouldn't show up for dates, forgot birthdays and anniversaries, and forgot to keep in touch because he wasn't able to calculate how long it'd been since he last spoke to the person. He has two close friends who understand his condition and don't mind his flakiness, but that's it.

Effects: He is unable to tell the difference between night and day and looking at a clock is like looking at a photograph — he understands what he's seeing but it has no meaning to him, they're just numbers. Anything related to numbers (telephone numbers, addresses, dates, etc.) essentially means nothing to him.

    Cassidy

Cassidy Leadworth is a 26 year old Hollywood actress. As of late, her health has been acting weird, but she doesn't want anyone to know. She is at the height of her career, and also has a loving family life at home with her long term boyfriend, which makes her afraid to admit that something is wrong, in case she loses some part of her currently good life. She is friendly, naive, and a bit of a push over. She cares a little too much in any given situation, which could lead to trouble. Thinks she's untouchable by the government.

Effects: Long-term effect of having splitting headaches and during "bad" headaches, she blanks out of awareness and has no idea what she's doing and doesn't remember doing it when the "bad" headache passes.

    Carwyn

Carwyn Dythen - 25 years old. His parents moved back across the border when he was seven and he went to a special school unit for children with behaviour problems which led to him being assessed after he physically attacked his teacher for ripping up his work for drawing a penis. Has been in anger management since that time and had a very rocky time at school with suspensions, exclusions and fightings. He still lives with his parents and is unable to hold down a job because of his violence. He has a girlfriend who often provokes him which often leads to midnight A&E trips where he's dislocated his knuckle by punching walls and objects instead of her.

Effects: The effects had started as a child with having been violently sick for the following two weeks after the injection. Then after that period passed, his temper would flare at pretty much anything and he couldn't control it and would sob to his mother afterwards about how he couldn't stop and he was scared. When he was fourteen, he got grounded for a petty reason and went into such a frenzy that he ended up with a broken toe and bruising his knuckles by attacking the wall. The same excuse for all of his violent has been that he couldn't physically stop, and although both parents were at their wit's end, they believed him.

    Noah

Noah Carson - 25 years old. He isn't able to keep many jobs, and does not have a lot of money. He lives with his sister, helping her around the house and raise her children. Personality wise, Noah is friendly, good by nature, but sometimes does things that are a little kooky.

Effects: Gets extremely ill often and often has hallucinations where he sees people and talks to them but there's no one there.

    Holly

Holly Moreland — Currently 24, Holly made the decision to marry and start a family at a young age in case her window of opportunity ran out. She has a four-year-old daughter named Ruby. Her husband wants another child, but Holly's health issues have been creeping up again and she's scared she won't be healthy enough to carry the child.

Her husband is a software developer and makes good money, allowing Holly to be a stay-at-home mom. She'd always wanted to be a teacher and harbors some degree of bitterness because she hasn't been able to become one, but would rather be a mother. She's patient, nurturing and kind, and tries to see the best in people.

Effects: As a child, she got sicker more frequently than the norm and the common cold would have put her on bed read for an unrealistic amount of time. Has periods of normalcy but has spurts of bad health and when she has those, she can feel the emotions of people around her.

    Charlotte

Charlotte Devine - 26 years old. The most successful of her family, she went off to university at 18 to study medicine and is now a qualified doctor working at the local hospital. Has a boyfriend of two years and a dog, the effects of the jab seem to have been good to her except for a two month period when she was 20 when she was bed ridden with severe head pain and went blind for three days which led to her GP referring her to the hospital where they ran numerous tests and scans but railed to find anything wrong and no explanation of her three day blindness.

Effects: Her visual senses were enhanced to the point where she was able to see things extremely clearly even when standing nowhere near them and everything she saw she could remember in detail.

The World Association of Clinical Health

Set up initially a few years before the injections went out because the government needed a division to keep track of a scientist because of threats of tampering with members of the public's health. The name and description of the division on paper is just a guise. After the nine having the bad injections, they set up a room in the division to keep track of each of the nine in close detail as they grew older. One got removed from the room as no symptoms occurred whatsoever. Over a decade later something spikes in the health record of one of the remaining eight and they resolve to keep closer eye on that person, and two years later a spike appears in another health record leading to consulting among the division and men being sent to pick the two up for testing and observation. One of their effects/symptoms begin to drastically change which leads to the isolation of the one from the other, and within a few days they were dead. A medical examiner was brought in and had to perform an autopsy but nothing was found as their system was no longer alive and all the effects had disappeared. After doing several lots of blood tests on the alive one, they realise there's something in the blood and that's when they set the task of bringing the other six in to the division and keeping them for testing, observation and studying.

However, it turns out not be as easy as it looks and the four tasked with rounding the six up are threatened with being fired if they cannot bring them in which makes them mad. Force is allowed but is never included in reports of their work, and they can do whatever they see is necessary to bring the six in alive.

    Official M. Stewate

Matthew Stewate, 41. Has worked in the division for two decades and know everything there is about the case of the nine, however the only thing that he and the division don't know is what the injection was supposed to do as the scientist who made the bad batch still refuses to talk despite the convincing they've been attempting for the best part of fifteen years following the location of him. He takes his wife for granted and is rarely home, instead putting his job before his son and wife. He's smug and confidence because of his status in the government and how invincible it makes him.

    Official K. Zakarian

Karen Zakarian. In her early 40s and works in the division and is one of the members tasked with rounding up the remaining six infected ones. However, her real name is actually Claudia Boucher and she is in her mid-30s but faked her identity and credentials because she's the ex-assistant of the scientist that invented the vaccine and doesn't want her secret to be found out as she's a sort of spy in a way as she took the job so that she could make sure nothing led back to her and so that she could see what the vaccine actually does as she originally had no clue about what the scientist was doing at the time of inventing it.

    Official B. North

Beverly North. She's 56 years old and extremely cold. She's been working for the division since her mid 20's. She takes joy in tracking down infected people and getting to use unwarranted violence. Other people seem to be intimidated by her because she is one of those people who takes delight in making others feel pain. She has no family, she invests her whole life into the job. She goes by Bev.

    Official A. Jackson

Alex Jackson. 49 years old and has worked for the division for over a decade now. Is always cracking jokes and is seen as the "funny" one of the four even though he's willing to exert force whenever necessary - and even when not necessary. Had a wife but she filed for divorce and went into hiding when he threatened to slit her throat if she ever thought about leaving him. Despite all his government strings he's pulled, she still remains hidden from him. He enjoys being the one to "talk" to any person the division picks up because there's no cameras and whatever happens in the interrogation room stays in the interrogation room.

OutlineChapter 1 (Adam): Intro to life and living with the effects - possible first attempt by WACH to contact them.
    Chapter 2 (Cassidy): " "
    Chapter 3 (Carwyn): " "
Chapter 4 (Adam): Could focus on a current book he's writing about his condition and a check up at the local GP surgery in regards to the condition. Comes back and finds a letter from the anonymous person telling him to be careful perhaps? That someone's watching him?
Chapter 5 (Cassidy): As she lives in America, this chapter sees her coming back to the UK to record a new film.
Chapter 6 (Carwyn): Late night A&E trip with his girlfriend with three broken fingers. She spots a suspicious car in the carpark that has a person inside who she noticed was there when they first arrived and is there when they leave. A note is left on their windshield.

Chapter 7 (Adam): Depends on what you want to happen, either WACH approach him to try and explain what's going on, they try to talk and it fails so they attempt to take him against his will, or they attempt to abduct him but fail.
Chapter 8 (Cassidy): She's approached on set by WACH and starts listening to them until she feels uncomfortable and tries to get them to leave. When they refuse, she gets security to throw them off the set.
Chapter 9 (Carwyn): As he lives with his parents, the WACH attempt to contact him at home but his mother refuses to let them in because it's mother intuition that they're bad news. The day goes on until his father comes home and they realise the house is being watched.
Chapter 10 (Holly): Maybe she's picking up her daughter from school but is ten minutes early or so and lingers in the carpark alone instead of in the playground like all other parents are, and two men from the WACH approach her and attempt to coerce her into their car but she's saved by the bell (literally) and she runs into the school playground.
Chapter 11 (Noah): A normal day in the life of Noah apart from a (second?) letter from the anonymous person telling him not to go shopping today (as he lives with his sister and helps around the house I'd assume he'd help with the shopping too?) because his life is in danger, and maybe he decides not to and stays at home instead, using one of his sister's children as an excuse (they could be sick?)
Chapter 12 (Charlotte): She's working the late shift and gets a phone call from her boyfriend saying that someone's attempting to break into their house and not to be worried if he suddenly turns up in A&E as he's got his bat at the ready. She's about to leave work early to come home when he reports that they've stopped and appear to have gone, so she stays and instead called to reception where one of the WACH agents are, but she doesn't believe the badge and instead tells reception to call security if they don't leave and goes back to work.
Chapter 13 (Agent ?): Regrouping back at WACH headquarters and that's when the four are reprimanded about being unable to do their jobs properly and their boss gives them one more chance - get the Six in "custody" soon or lose their job.

With the nine, they all have to be relatively the same age in order for them to get the nine from the same batch. As they got them as infants, one could have been 18 months while the other was 2, maybe one was 4, etc. Either way, age gap cannot be more than 4 years as it's the same vaccination so therefore they would need to be in the same age group to receive the vaccine when they did.

I was thinking that they would be in their twenties because it would have taken the government a long time to realise that something was going on with the people who had the vaccination, through observation of medical histories, etc.

Would it work if I wrote someone older, probably 27, with a child that they're worried about passing their effects down to?

I'd think that would be fine. I'll then move my character's age to 25 so there's only a two year gap.

    26 would be good!

    @ chibs telford

Quick question - as there are six people who had the vaccination who are still "free" do you guys want to only write the one character or two characters? If we only write the one character the other three would be a mystery to everyone until they meet eventually (that was the plan to begin with but I'm not sure whether through the government section - as in they all get rounded up - or an anonymous tip sends some of the characters to a designated meeting spot) but with two we'd cover the six of them with just the three of us. I don't mind writing either and I do sort of think that it'd be best to write one each but I just want your opinions.

Alright! I'm going to be writing a male character. Even though we'll be writing one each, I think we should each do a character profile for two characters so that all six are worked out quickly.

Well I was thinking that the division would be a part of the government but an entire section itself, as in it has its own rules and regulations and would only have to answer to the Prime Minister if need be. For the history of the division, I had originally thought that this wasn't the first time bad doses of certain vaccinations had made its way to the public and it was started to monitor those people to make sure everything was fine. They would also be double-checking vaccinations to make sure more bad doses don't get issued but this batch slipped under their radar for about five seconds and it got shipped to one GP surgery which is where the nine of them get their injections because it could be a Monday and they do childhood injections on that day, so the first appointment could be at 9:10 and by 10:05 the ninth child has had their injection and just before the tenth one is called, an official enters the surgery and injects to go into the nurse's room and remove the entire of the batch as well as the empty needles for testing and replacing it with a new batch that is fine.

Great! All you really need to know about my government is we have a Prime Minister, a House of Lords and a House of Commons which makes up Parliament and should the government not be in session, the Privy Council comes into play which is basically the monarch and members that have been previous members of one of the two Houses. The Council can also pass laws quicker than the government should it be necessary. I don't think much more needs knowing about the government for this story.

Also please look at my post above! I replied before seeing yours. Facepalm
