Me too! I've had this general idea for so long.

I think we should leave Burning Questions up for another 12 hours or so, and then move on to the next discussion topic. Is there anything else anyone wants to ask?

I was just curious as to whether everyone had officially chosen their heroes/villains yet. I'm nosy. Laughing
Also, whenever I do co-writes I always ask ahead of time how the various characters are going to get along. In this case, are the chosen ones going to unite as a team & be friendly right away, or will they all have to warm up to each other?

Won't that depend on personality? Characters should clash in the same way that really people would.

That's why I'm eager to know who everyone picked & what their personalities will be. Mr. Green but I was just wondering if it will be a "put our differences aside to save the world" type thing, or if there will be some dissention between them all to start with.

Third person, past tense tends to be my favourite for group writes or anything with more than one character's point of view. This does sound like it'll be a long story but it's better to be long than to cram everything into one chapter and have it messy.

Oh, and I love the ruins of the palace being in no man's land and everything you put. It sounds fabulous. tehe

    @ mockingjay.
Won't they all be together just in no man's land? Therefore they wouldn't really have to put their differences aside.

I think I'm wording this wrong. Facepalm
What I mean is, is there going to be a sense of camaraderie between them all, since they're all more or less dealing with the same problem; or a sort of distrust because none of them knew there were other kingdoms until that point?

Oh, I understand you better now. Well, I'd think there'd be some distrust because of never knowing about the other kingdoms, but I guess it depends on personality and such of each character.

Well, for Wendy, she is naive and knowing that they're all 'saviours' puts her mind at ease. She knows it doesn't all depend on her, so she's happy to meet them all - she's expecting to meet these brave heroic characters, and constantly wondering why she was chosen seeing the others. She has no real skills really, and her visions aren't much use because they come and go and are often very vague. She feels like the under-achiever, so she'll be in awe of the others, even if they're not so kind.

Also, onto discussion topic three. Continue to ask those burning questions throughout, by the way!

Just reminding everybody to subscribe to this thread and check back regularly for updates, my alerts haven't always come through, and I might not always reply to everyone, so I just wanted to make sure everyone was covered.

For the main antagonist I'm thinking the Queen of Hearts.
She has a pushover husband so she is used to getting her own way. She also has an army at her beck and call which she uses to keep the kingdom under control. She is stereo typically beautiful, she uses this, and her heart shaped neckless, to control the people that surround her.
My main protagonist will be Maid Marion. She is hard and slightly bitter as she left her family to spend her life with Robin Hood who was then murdered by Prince John's men. The merry men abandoned her because they didn't want to be lead by a woman. She ran away to wonderland where she was outcast. She set up a life for herself in the forest where she slowly began taking in other strays from the surrounding areas. She has a foxlike face with long ginger hair.

I like it, sounds good! Is Wonderland going to be the name of the kingdom then, or is it a separate world entirely like Neverland?

I added a little more to my antagonist detail. Kira's guardian will be a dwarf.

I have a question about their guardians. They're going to be leading them to the Blue Fairy and such, as well as let them know about their fate but not the other kingdoms (right?), but do they do anything else? I feel like this is an incredibly dumb question but I just need it answered for my understanding. XD

It's not a dumb question - I'm not the best at explaining things, so tell me if I make sense, okay?

This idea has just come to me off the top of my head. I am not as organised as I appear, I'm a fraud! XD So, the Blue Fairy contacted the guardians in their dreams by showing them glimpses of an apocalyptic future where the saviours are dead and the kingdoms are at war. This is what would happen if the guardians didn't intervene. The guardians also dream about the ruined castle where the Blue Fairy is being kept. This recurs for years, until one by one, the guardians scoured the land and found the castle ruins. The Blue Fairy told them everything, and showed them - telepathically - images of the girls they needed to find before sending one north, one west, one east, and one south. Make sense? lmfao I can't believe I'm making so much up.

    @ Selling dreams @ mockingjay.
I guess the above is important, and very much open for discussion.

That make complete sense! So the guardians were basically "chosen ones" as well, in a sense.

Yeah, without them, nothing works. So, like, they spend time training them and getting them prepared to see the Fairy.

Will they all have other companions besides their Guardians? For Kira's Guardian, I was thinking he could be a very old dwarf & he enlisted his two companions because they were some of the dwarves left who hadn't been corrupted by the queen. (They'll be more Lord of the Rings type dwarves than Disney dwarves, haha). and of course she's traveling with Thane, so I figure the dwarf & Thane will both teach her things; Thane more practical, combat based things & the dwarf teaching her about magic & the Blue Fairy & yada yada.
