Eyes Wide Open

  • (Sorry, I would have replied to this sooner, but my grandma's dog was attacking my face with licks. xD)

Mori ran a hand through his hair as he made his way out of his last class. He had already informed Kyoya that he would be going with Kiyomi to another school and, though Kyoya wasn't fully satisfied with the fact that Mori might not make it back before club started, he had accepted the answer. Not that it would matter, because Mori would have gone anyways.

Making his way to the committee room, he glanced around a bit as he walked. Upon getting there, he spotted Kiyomi outside and approached her. "Are you ready to go?" he asked, though, with being close to her again, he couldn't help but to remember the events from earlier and he was rather happy with it.
Kimi was fairly grateful when classes ended, admittedly exhausted from how the day had been so far. Maybe it was because she had been thinking so much over what had happened at lunch. Shaking her head at the thought, she blinked in surprise when she took notice of Tamaki and tried to concentrate on his question.

After a moment, though, she smiled slightly and nodded. "Yeah, I will," she assured him before turning her attention ahead. "Partially because there's not really anywhere else for me to wait and partially because it's kind of amusing to watch everything in the club."

  • [That's okay tehe I got stuck on how to reply for a little bit xs)

Kiyomi nodded her head quickly as she gathered her things and ushered him to her own family car, hopping in she instructed the driver to take them to the pubic school. Kiyomi spent her time in the car straightening her uniform and making sure she looked prestine, she was after all going and representing Ouran Academy.

Once they arrive she stepped out, only to be greeted by a crowd of students dressed in cheap uniforms, they glared, some yelling out profane words while the rest watched warily. Kiyomi felt uncomfortable, moving closer to Mori to feel safer.
Tamaki smiled, nodding his head "Fair enough," he thought for a moment before a glimmer of excitement flashed before his eyes. "Would you care to help me get the Host Club's theme ready? Unfortunately I have to set it up by myself because the others all have things to do this afternoon," Tamaki asked, giving Kimi a hopeful smile in the hopes she'd say yes, after all it'd give him some more time to hang out with her and get to know her better. The thought made him smile.

  • (No worries! xD)

Mori couldn't help but frown when he heard all of the students causing so much trouble. With how he was raised, he knew that it wasn't proper to act so brutal in the presence of a female unless it was absolutely necessary - and there was no way that any of these students' behaviors were necessary.

Seeing that she seemed uncomfortable, he placed a hand lightly on her head as if hoping to assure her that it was okay, that he wouldn't let any of these brutes hurt her. "Just ignore them," he eventually told her in a low mutter.
Kimi blinked at the mention of it, glancing up at him with surprise and curiosity. "Oh, um, sure," she decided, offering a smile. She hadn't expected for him to ask her for help, really - it seemed fairly random. But Kimi liked helping, so she didn't really mind agreeing to it. "What's the theme today?" She arched an eyebrow, genuinely curious, since Kyoya had mentioned the silly themes that they did.

  • Kiyomi nodded her head as they pushed through the crowd and made their way into the first school building, they finally came to a stop at the front of the student council office and Kiyomi knocked as a voice told her to come in. Once they were inside Kiyomi and Mori came face to face with a guy and two other committee members.

"As you've been told we've had some Ouran Academy students complain to myself and the President telling us some of your students have been bullying them, they told us they wanted to take you and the perpetrators to court but the Ouran Academy student council convinced them to let us talk to you first."

"I see," the president said "and how can we make up for this incident?" he asked.

"They would like a written apology from you and the ones that were harassing them, you must also agree to not come anywhere near Ouran Academy." Kiyomi stated matter-of-factly.

For a second the president looked deep in thought before he grinned menacely at Kiyomi and shook his head, snickering. "There's no way we're going to apologize to a bunch of spoilt rich kids," he answered before standing up and marching up to Kiyomi, getting into her personal space. "Now what will you do Miss Vice-President?" he sneered.

Kiyomi bit her lip for a second, wondering if she should let her anger get the better of her, "There's a reason why I'm sent to take care of complaints," Kiyomi explained, she had a reputation within the student council and the other school councils. "They call me she-devil Kiyomi," before their President can react Kiyomi uses a judo technique to flip the President and pin him securely. Kiyomi may look fragile and weak but she wasn't someone to take lightly when she was mad, which was why she asked Mori to come along, she knew he'd be able to calm her down if she got mad.
Tamaki looked away, he wasn't used to feeling nervous or embarrassed but Kimi had a strange affect on him "It's going to sound rather silly but this week is Animal Appreciation week, believe it or not, so I thought it'd be a lot of fun to have the Host Club dress up as their favourite animal. I know it's stupid, but I love animals." Tamaki chuckled, a fond smile forming on his face.

He motioned Kimi to follow him to the music room where he showed her the rack of costumes. "When I was a little boy I had a labrador puppy, he was the cutest little thing," Tamaki pulled out an outfit and showed it to Kimi. "I'm going to be dressed as a labrador dog, Kyoya says it matches my personality perfectly, though I'm not quite sure what he means," Tamaki laughed.

"What animal do you think you'd be?" Tamaki asked curiously, wanting to hear her answer.

  • (Ohmygod, Kiyomi's a bad ass. xD)

Surprise didn't seem like the right word to describe what Mori felt at the moment. It seemed much more vivid than just surprise, after all, but he couldn't think of a proper word to describe it. He just hadn't expected any of that to happen - and especially not for it to be Kiyomi who had done such a thing.

He hadn't really known of her reputation, admittedly, mostly too indulged in club activities to pay much attention to nicknames that others received. On top of that, since Kiyomi had been avoiding him so much, he hadn't really paid much attention to what others said about her since he was more focused on why she had been avoiding him.

But, seeing this made him wonder if worrying about her health was smart. Perhaps they should worry about other peoples' health when they made her mad. "I suggest you just do as she says," he muttered to the President of the school, "Otherwise, I'm sure you'll just get yourself humiliated."
Kimi smiled slightly and shook her head slightly. "It's not stupid," she assured him, admittedly finding the idea of an Animal Appreciation week rather sweet and adorable. It wasn't something that she would expect guys to come up with at all - maybe that made it all the better, though, she thought.

She blinked at the sight of the costume and laughed quietly. "Well, I can't tell you what Kyoya means by that, but it does seem like it would suit you." She nodded in approval, finding the mention of his puppy nice to listen to. Maybe it was because she had never had a pet or it could just be because of the way he looked when he spoke about it.

When she heard him question her, though, she offered a grin. "A kitten. I like cats. They're cute."

  • (Right?! xD)

Kiyomi readjusted herself so she had her foot on the Presidents back, she stood up straight and folded her arms over her chest, glaring at the other members. "I have no tolerance for bullying," she stated and the other students whimpered before exclaiming "We'll find the perpetrators and make sure they formally apologize!" they exclaimed and Kiyomi nodded her head, glad that she wouldn't need to use up what little energy she had left to fight them either. "I expect this issue to be resolved by tomorrow morning," they nodded their heads as Kiyomi turned to leave.

As she made it to the door she looked back at the President who was struggling to get up "For future reference Mr. President, if I have to come back here to deal with a situation like this again I won't be a very happy person," Usually Kiyomi didn't have to physically venture out to other school however this school had been ignoring the Ouran Academy council warning and Kiyomi was given no choice but to put her already hectic life on hold to deal with the matter.

Once they were out of the school and climbing back into the car Kiyomi fiddled with her fingers, "I'm sorry you had to see that, I can't stand the thought of someone being bullying." Kiyomi's hands clench into fists again at the thought of the topic.
Tamaki laughed before reaching over and ruffling Kimi's hair "You'd be the cutest kitten I'd ever seen," Tamaki smiled sweetly, imaging Kimi dressed as a kitten and nodding his head in approval, "that's it!" Tamaki went through the rack, searching for spare outfits, he knew the Hitachiin twins would have everything and anything Tamaki would need and he was correct when he pulled out an outfit.

He put it up to Kimi and nodded again before exclaiming "Here, try this on!" and before she can refuse he pushes her into the girls changing room and closed the door, giving her privacy while he grabbed his own outfit and went into another changing room, he got changed into his labrador outfit and grinned at himself before bouncing out of the changing room to wait for Kimi to finish.

  • (xD Yeah!)

Mori shook his head as he sat in the car beside her, glancing over at her. "It's not something you have to apologize for," he assured her with a subtle nod. "You did the right thing, though I hope it won't take an effect on you later since you've probably used up a lot of energy today." His tone reflected genuine concern - he couldn't help it, especially after hearing what Kiyomi had told him and Honey at lunch that day.

Still, he was glad that she hadn't gotten hurt in the process. That was the bright side, he decided. Plus, she had managed to get the school to agree to the terms.

"You did a good job." He offered her a small, subtle smile as he looked her over as if to make sure that she hadn't gotten hurt. Mostly, though, he was looking for any possible sign that she had exerted too much energy in the process. "I'm impressed."
Kimi's cheeks heated up at hearing Tamaki's comment. But when he had suddenly come up with some random idea, she blinked several times in confusion, but she hadn't had any time to comment on that confusion since he had pushed her right into the changing room. Staring at the outfit, she tried to figure out what had gotten Tamaki to decide to make her dress up and she eventually relented, deciding to change into the costume.

At least it was cute, she decided once she was changed. Plus, she was out of that annoyingly ugly school uniform dress. Chewing on her lip, she looked down at the costume once before she made her way out of the changing room. "So... Why did I have to put this on?" she asked with curiosity, though she didn't really mind it now that she was actually wearing it.

  • Kiyomi tried her best to hide how exhausted she really was, she wasn't good at taking care of herself, and in all honesty if Kiyomi didn't have lunch with Mori she wouldn't have had any at all. "Don't worry, I'll be fine," Kiyomi said unconvincingly as the car pulled up to Ouran Academy and they hopped out. Kiyomi checked the time and nodded her head "Good, you aren't late for the Host Club," she breathed a sigh of relief as they made their way to music room three and entering.

They only ones in the room where Tamaki and Kimi and they were dressed up. Tamaki spotted the pair and grinned rushing over he handed Mori an outfit "Just in time Mori-senpai, please put this one," Tamaki then turned to Kiyomi "Miss Vice President I'll find you an outfit to try on as well! It'll be fun" Tamaki explained as he went through the rack again until he pulled out an outfit and handed it to her.

Kiyomi went into a dressing room knowing it was pointless to fuss and she put the outfit on before stepping out, she was wearing a pretty tigress outfit, she came out and Tamaki made her give a twirl to show case the outfit.
Tamaki grinned at Kimi "I knew you'd look adorable!" Tamaki exclaimed, fussing over her for a few minutes before Mori and Kiyomi arrive, he goes to give Mori his outfit then decides since Kimi is dressing up that Kiyomi should as well.

Tamaki had given Mori a mouse outfit while giving Kiyomi a white tiger outift, it was amusing seeing her come out and having her twirl, he made both girls twirl to show of their outfits and he gave a bright smile pleased with himself. "You both look lovely!"

  • (Sorry this took so long! I'd go into a really long explanation, but, long story short, my uncle brought my little cousin down here because he and his wife have to work full time and his step-son is a jerk so he didn't want to leave her there.)

Once Mori had managed to change into the mouse costume, he came out just in time to spot Kiyomi twirling. It was both adorable and amusing, he would admit - but not aloud, of course. He resigned himself to watching, arching an eyebrow as he eyed the girl.

At least she seemed happy, he decided. Nodding in agreement to Tamaki's words. "Will they be wearing those costumes during the club?" he asked, a little curious. At the same time, he was a little wary since, if they did, the guests might get jealous.
Kimi paused after Tamaki made her twirl, making sure to catch her balance before she grinned broadly. She was rather happy, admittedly, and a blush filled her cheeks once more at hearing Tamaki's compliment. Blinking upon hearing Mori, she glanced over, though she was curious now as well.
    July 7th, 2014 at 06:44am
  • (That's okay! It's good they had some where else your little cousin could stay while they worked tehe I've been in a similar situation with a little cousin as well, my uncle told me that his grandson had rung up crying because he hated staying with his grandma and I told my uncle to go get the little guy and I'd take care of him while my uncle worked. It was major work babysitting him but it worked out haha)

Tamaki contemplated for a moment before shrugging his shoulders "Well, Kiyomi is the she-devil vice-president, I'm sure she'll be fine and as for Kimi, well she's a well respected Ootori and her brother is Kyoya, no one should make a fuss about her being dressed up, in fact, they'll probably think it was Kyoya dressing up his younger sister," Tamaki rubbed his hands together in glee.
Kiyomi fidgeted with her outfit "It's a little short," she mumbled pulling the hem of her skirt down. She glanced over at Mori and couldn't help but grin as she skipped over and touched his tie. "You look nice," she blushed, dropping her hand and stepping back, remembering that Tamaki and Kimi were in the same room as them.
    July 12th, 2014 at 01:21pm
  • (Yeah, it was pretty crazy. She got bored fast because she doesn't like the shows I watch in my room and my grandma is constantly busy with my great-grandma. So she was on the computer most of the time playing Roblox, but ended up leaving early anyways.)

Mori blinked several times at Kiyomi's compliment, having already forgotten Tamaki's words already. A light blush tainted his features and he glanced away from a moment, rubbing the back of his neck. "Thank you," he muttered lowly before turning his attention to her and taking in her appearance for a long moment. "You look nice as well."

Mentally, he wanted to chastise himself. Surely he could have come up with a far better compliment than nice. Still, he supposed he would just have to make up for that later and come up with a better compliment at a different time.
"I don't think people would buy that Kyoya dressed me up," Kimi murmured with faint amusement, smiling slightly as she shook her head. "But, worst case, I'll talk Kyoya into saying that he did, if people ask." As long as Kyoya got something out of it, she was sure he would agree.
    July 12th, 2014 at 01:43pm
  • (At least something was entertaining her haha)

When Kiyomi saw Mori look at her she became self-conscious and wanted to hide from his sight. When she said she looked nice she smiled softly. She was about to say something else when Honey burst through the doorway with a grin, he ran up to Mori and Kiyomi and was dancing around them excitedly. "Takashi and Kiyomi sitting in the tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g~" he sung aloud before climbing Takashi and putting himself on his shoulders. Kiyomi blushed darkly and hid her face behind her hand as the rest of the host club members came in.
Tamaki shook his head "No need to worry about it, everything will work out perfectly, you'll see," Tamaki laughed, waving a dismissive hand and laughing his worries away. He hadn't really thought about another girls being jealous, personally Tamaki didn't tolerate harassment of any kind and the girls generally knew that rule, bar for a few bad apples.
    July 12th, 2014 at 02:39pm
  • (Haha, thankfully. My dog didn't like her so I had to hide away with him in my room. Not that my dog likes anybody aside from me, anyways, because he's uber protective. He won't even let my brothers hug me. xD THAT ASIDE. Sorry, got a little side-tracked. Yeah, she's back there and she's working at her other grandma's shop - who didn't really want her there again this summer.)

Mori pressed his hand to his mouth and cheeks, his cheeks warm all over again. "Sorry about that, Kiyomi..." he muttered lowly, knowing that it was probably just as embarrassing for her as it was for him - especially since she was hiding her face just as he was. His attention got diverted to the other members and he pulled his hand from his mouth and looked to Honey. "Let's... Keep everything a secret, alright?"
Kimi eyed him carefully before nodding slowly. "If you're sure," she murmured, though her attention got turned to Honey when he started singing. She figured it was just a silly teasing game, so she didn't pay it much mind. Instead, she started toying with the little cat ears on her head with faint amusement before glancing around to the other host members. "Oh, I guess the fact that they're here means your club will start soon."
    July 12th, 2014 at 02:46pm
  • (My cat is super protect over me haha like he'll be waiting at the bottom of the road for me when I get home from Uni or work lmfao He also sleeps with me every night and he'll always end up with his head on the pillow next to me ._. So I wake up to a face full of fur >_> )

Once Kiyomi had recovered her and Honey agreed though Honey pouted more than anything while Kiyomi understood that it'd be safer if things stayed private, for the Host Club and Kiyomi. Before Kiyomi realized it it was nearly time for the Host Club to start filling up with girls. Kiyomi took Kimi's hand and quickly went into the other room as some girls came in, not having seen the girls. Kiyomi let out a breath before turning to Kimi "sorry about grabbing you so suddenly, we should get changed," she said, gathering her stuff and changing back into her uniform as Kiyomi sung a lullaby to aloud to herself.
Tamaki quirked an eyebrow at Honey interested in what was going on but when the customers came in he turned to them with a charming smile and welcomed them into the club, watching Kimi and Kiyomi slip into the next scene unnoticed. The club seemed busier than ever and Tamaki could barely breath between clients but he was happy that he was making others happy and that's why he loved being in the Host Club.

  • (Haha, I curl up on my side when I sleep, so my dog curls up at my knees. xD Oh, are we still going to do Take a Chance?)

Mori watched as Kiyomi disappeared to change before turning his attention to Honey. Honey seemed especially hyper today, because he was already skipping over to his seat with Usa-chan, grinning childishly as he greeted the guests that came over to the table. Mori soon joined him, but stayed his usual quiet self, not wanting to make the guests suspicious. There were several guests today, it seemed, and he wondered what had gotten so many to suddenly show up, though he wasn't necessarily complaining.
Kimi blinked and smiled before she shook her head. "You don't have to apologize," she assured before she gathered her clothes and slipped into one of the changing rooms and changed back into her school uniform. It surprised her when she heard Kiyomi start singing, but she listened quietly, smiling slightly to herself. Once she finished changing, she stepped out, but remained silent as she listened, admittedly enjoying the sound of it. She didn't generally get to listen to people singing, after all.
    July 25th, 2014 at 03:46am
  • (Oh I was going to ask, can you please alert me on that role-play, it's not on my news feed any more Cry I wish my cat would sleep at my knees or feet haha)

Kiyomi smiled sheepishly at Kimi once she'd finished sleeping, "It's been awhile since anyone outside of my music class has heard me sing, excluding Honey," Kiyomi explained, as she checked over her uniform and neatened it up. Grabbing her gear she waited for Kimi to be done and leaving the outfits tidily on a chair. Once she was back in the main room Kiyomi blinked, seeing a large number of girls giggling. Glancing over at Honey and Mori she gave a small smile before walking out of the music room. "Huh? How come the vice-president was in that room?" one of the girls at Honey and Mori's table asked aloud.
Tamaki saw the girls leave the room after a short while and smiled to himself. He didn't know why but he liked Kimi, she was an interesting girl with a good head on her shoulders it seemed. The others were right though, it'd be a bad idea to publicly show that he was giving someone lots of attention all of a sudden. There had been more than enough issues with Tamaki giving Haruhi attention and the girls thought Haruhi was a guy. Shaking his head Tamaki frowned, he'd just have to see how everything goes and hope for the best.
    July 25th, 2014 at 03:20pm
  • (No worries! Haha, right? Even right now, he's curled up by my legs with me just relaxing on the bed. I love him<3)

Mori blinked several times after hearing the girl's question, drawing his attention away from Kiyomi when he saw her leaving. Settling his attention on the girl, he wasn't sure how to answer - or if he even should, since he didn't want to get out of his host club character and raise suspicion. "Oh, she was changing into a clean school uniform," Honey offered as an explanation, a broad smile on his features. But he added to the slight lie right after, because even he knew it was best not to get the guests upset. "She just got back from another school and they dirtied her uniform up."
Kimi smiled slightly and shook her head. "I enjoyed it," she assured Kiyomi before watching the girl exit the room. She followed out of the changing room, but instead of leaving the music room, she glanced around. Even her brother was fairly busy today, though, so she wondered if she should go to the library and wait for him, but she didn't want to be rude and interrupt him to tell him that she was going to wait somewhere else. So, instead, she waited for things to calm down.
    July 26th, 2014 at 01:21am
  • Kiyomi went back to the committee room and took a seat, sighing in annoyance when she realized she had more paper to fill out. Getting to work she completed the piles and sorted them out, once she had a stack for one teacher sorted she got up and walked out into the hallway and made her way to the right classroom, only to get knocked to the side by a rushing student and have the paperwork and herself bump into an open window and tumble out the side.

She let out a girlish scream as she landed in some bushes, thankful that the window wasn't quite two storeys high. "Seriously," Kiyomi groaned, slowly and painfully getting up, the student no where in sight. Assessing herself Kiyomi noted that her uniform was now slightly muddy and ripped from the branches and she had some cuts and bruising. Her cheek was stinging and Kiyomi lifted a hand to her face, pulling it back to find she was bleeding from a cut. Dusting herself off as much as she could she collected the scattered paperwork and made her way back inside stiffly. Just her luck to be pushed out a window.
Tamaki took a breather once one of his clients departed and the new one hadn't arrived yet to spot Kimi waiting patiently. "Everything okay Kimi?" Tamaki asked politely, giving the younger female a silly grin. He hoped she was okay because she seemed awkward standing there waiting for her brother. "If you like you can take a spare seat or join the other females and have some tea with them and whoever they're being hosted by." Tamaki suggested.

He didn't like the thought of a pretty female such as Kimi to be waiting there bored, what kind of Host would he be if she was completely bored and in the Host Clubs presence. The thought horrified Tamaki, he would be a complete failure, why should he be a Host if a female was displeased while in their club room. With every thought Tamaki managed to work himself up more and more until he was in his depressed corner crying about what a bad host he was.

  • (Sorry, I wasn't really sure what to write. x.x)

The guests seemed to calm down after receiving the explanation that was offered and the rest of the time went by without a hitch - much to Mori's relief. He hoped nobody got suspicious of what was going on between himself and Kiyomi, because he was certain it would cause trouble with the guests - or, at least, the crazy ones who were far too obsessed with the hosts for their own good.

Regardless, once one session ended, Mori sighed and stood up, running a hand through his hair. He ached from sitting down the entire time, but Honey seemed just as gleeful as ever as the boy hugged Usa-chan tightly. "I want cake," the boy suddenly decided as he hopped down from his chair, taking hold of Mori's hand and dragging him over to the desserts.
Kimi blinked slowly upon hearing Tamaki and she turned her attention towards him with a bit of surprise. Hadn't he just been dealing with guests just moments ago? She supposed that session was likely over - otherwise, she was certain that his guests would get antsy and she would feel bad. "Oh, I'm fine," she assured him, offering a small smile. "Really, I don't mind just standing around."

And she didn't. It helped her assess her situation better. But, she soon took notice of Tamaki's sudden... Depression, she supposed, and she furrowed her brows as she moved over to him. "Ah, are you okay?" she asked quietly as she eyed him with concern.

  • (Ah sorry! I'm trying to think of some more ideas that we can go with Think The sky's the limit with Ouran XD I'm trying to figure out a way for Tamaki to interact with Kimi, any ideas come to mind? o.o )

Kiyomi gathered up her frizzled mind and decided to go into the girls bathroom to try clean up a little, after all she still had to drop all paperwork off to their different classrooms so she couldn't go home for the day. When she went into the girls bathroom she wash her hands and face, assessing herself in the mirror she tried her best to look halfway decent before deciding the best course of action was to change into her P.E gear and have one of her maids wash and fix her dress when she got home. For now she got changed and tied her long hair up into a ponytail as she went to each class.

It took her awhile to get from one class to another and by this time she only had a few more to drop off. "6:30pm" Kiyomi hummed, glancing down to see it was some paperwork for Kyoya about club activities. Sighing she made her way back, at least the host club should be finished by now Kiyomi though as she opened the music doors up to find it empty except for the host members. She suddenly felt subconscious because she was wearing her P.E gear and had scraps on her. "Kyoya I have paperwork for you, I'd usually give it to the President but..." Kiyomi glanced over at Tamaki as he was pulling his antics like usual.
Tamaki felt Kimi approach him and he turned to her with tears in his eyes, "You don't understand, my job as a host member is to entertain all the ladies who step foot in this room, if I can't entertain you, as a lady, then I'm a failure." He cried dramatically, to which Kyoya could only roll his eyes and say "Don't you have anything better to do than annoy my sister?" Tamaki gasped at Kyoya, "How could you say such mean words to me mummy dearest?" Tamaki stated before turning to Kimi and taking her hand.

"You are a lady! And as a lady it is my duty to entertain you! So what would you like to do? We can have some tea and cake? Or maybe you would like to have a stroll in the garden? Or maybe you'd like me to help you study?" Tamaki rumbled on excitedly, giving more ideas while picturing then in his head and tapping his chin. "So what will it be?" he asked.
