I found a sewing thread and a knitting thread, but could not find one for crocheting.
Does anyone do any crocheting? It's similar to knitting but instead of using two pointed needles you use one with a hook on the tip.
I've recently begun and am in love with it. Currently making a baby blanket, a huge blanket for myself, mug jackets and a wine bottle holder.
They make great practical holiday gifts.
What's your favorite thing to make?

I'm into crocheting too! I'm not very good because I'm not good at following directions, but I've even able to make scarves with some interesting stitches. I just made on for a friend with the Lover's Knot and it was awesome!

I'm hoping to learn how to make a hat and maybe some mittens soon.

I crochet all of the time! It's a lot of fun. It's so spothing, as well. Once you learn to read the patterns, it's extremely easy. It's something my grandmother taught me to do, so I sort of treasure it as a skill.

I make hats for this organization called Knots of Love which donates crochet hats to cancer patient who have lost their hair. You should check it out if you like to crochet!

My mother-in-law crochets a lot, and is really good at it. I would like to learn, I think. I'd like to be more craft-y. Smile

I love crocheting! I love making scarves in the winter, in fact that's the most I can do at this point. My mother is quite good at it. I'm trying to develop my own set of crocheting hooks and yarn. Patterns are so confusing to me, but I sure hope that I can do something a little more than just scarves one day!

I'm currently on the lookout for some adorable crochet toy patterns. I've mastered the basics and am ready to tackle something more intricate. Any suggestions for patterns that have that extra cuteness factor? I'm particularly interested in animal patterns, so if you've crafted a charming crochet critter, I'd love to hear about it!
