Soo....the layout's up but it's still the picture that I'm not sure/happy about.

I suck so much at this replying thing. Facepalm I like the layout, it looks good to me! Do you two think we should change the summary at all, or does the one there need any tweaking before we start posting?
I'm going to get onto writing Othniel's chapter as soon as I can but until then, here's my revamped character for the demons:

Orias is ruthless. As one of Hell’s High Command, he finds himself making decisions that do not only affect the opposition, but can cause his own soldiers to be killed as well. He loves his job – in fact, he could think of nothing better to do than to cause havoc on both sides. Despite his apparent lack of care for anything, Orias has a soft spot for his fellow High Command demons. Any attack on them is an attack on him and he would wholeheartedly fight to the death for them. His main aim is retrieving the relic, as he would like to see Hell with powers that he could only dream about. It doesn’t matter how many of his own go missing in the process because as long as he can feel the relic in his own hands, he is happy.

I was thinking that the summary needed a bit of changing but honestly, I'd have no idea where to start.

Yeah, me neither. I don't like it the way it is, it's more of a plot outline than anything. I'll try and think of something for tomorrow and see if it can be worked around because it's too...wordy just now.

I like the new demon. And I'll be thinking about anything to improve the summary too and I'll try to post it tomorrow and we can vote on which of our improved summaries work best Smile

Hello guys! So sorry for forgetting about this, my mind has been a little crazy as of late! Are you both still okay to work on this? I wanted to double-check before we got right onto getting this up and running.

I should have done this already, but I'll give writing another summary a shot over the next few days and post it in here so that we can have everything ready to go. If anyone else has anything to add to it, then just pop it in here.

Aside from that, I think we're good to go. We had discussed everything that needed discussing in terms of getting this started, hadn't we?

I'm totally prepared to work on this. I was actually clearing out some of my stories the other day and I noticed the body for this and was wondering when we'd actually start.

If you can't work a summary, let me know and I'll give it another go. And yup, we did. Oh, we didn't quite get through fully plotting it and deciding who win. I know we said that both sides would get the relic during the story but not exactly where we're heading at the end. (I think??)

    Possible summary::

In a state of suspended disbelief, people believe in monsters and magic. They believe in villains and heroes. In the same respect, people think it only takes being bitten, whether by a monster or radioactive bug, or being exposed to any kind of radiation or other alien substance to be turned from a normal, everyday human into something fantastical.

When they stop reading, or finish the movie or wake up, the adventure is over. Everything once again returns to rumors and disbelief.

That is until the day the supernatural world exploded through the thin human veil of perceived reality.

The war between the angels and the demons was a war that wrapped itself in the mist of humans blissful ignorance, until the relic was in reach.

    Until the war became public.

Until the streets ran with blood.

Angels and Demons grow up knowing any day could be their last and train for the valiant war they believed was worth dying for trying to keep the humans unaware and safe from knowing too much.

But it's far too late for that. When a sloppy battle ensues, the humans are pulled from blissful ing prance into a war they never truly believed in.

A war or apocalyptic proportions will beg a question no one can answer:

    Who will win?

I think that's too long to be a summary. And a lot doesn't seem to be necessary, but some of it could make a good summary if reworded and shortened.

Yeah. I've tried to work a summary and the closest I can get basically just ends up explaining the plot. I think aspects of your summary could work, Meme, but we'd need to shorten it or add certain elements into another summary to make it short and sweet.

Okay, so who do we want to win, do we have a specific side? I'd like both sides to win so I'm up for either. tehe

"A war between two sides, one good and one evil.
    In the middle lies humanity."

What do you think? Short and sweet.

Also I think we could keep it that we have both sides come close to winning and then we throw a curveball of neither side winning and the relic is destroyed (by the archangel Michael, or even Lucifer, or another angel/demon that decides that humanity will be destroyed before the war is over and clearly both sides need humanity for what they do).

I like it. I like the idea of Lucifer destroying it as well.

That looks good to me! I'll go ahead and add that into the story once I get back from being on holiday.

I'm also down with the idea of no one winning. I didn't really have a side that I particularly wanted to win anyway, so having either Lucifer (I think it'd be out of character for him, so that'd make an even better curveball) or Michael destroy it and tell everyone that they need to stop would be pretty cool. I like happy-ish endings.

I thought I had replied to you. Facepalm It'd be a bittersweet ending. Like, some of them would have really wanted to get the relic and win over the other side so the fact that it became neutral in the end would irritate them (especially as some could feel like all the deaths were for nought because no one won).

It's cool. tehe Yeah, exactly. I know for sure that it would irritate Orias because he just wants hell to have all of the power so he'd be gutted that they didn't have it. And even though he's loyal to his orders, I think Othniel would be a bit pissed off as well, mainly because of the amount of casualties for what seemed like no prize.
