Steve watched as the young woman got lost in her visions, it was only a few seconds before she returned back to her reality. The hairs on the heroes arm stood on end at the mention of torture. Grabbing her arm he gently pulled her along exiting out of the kitchen and walking into the control room.

"He's started," was all he said grabbing the attention of all the members in the room. A curse left Starks lips as he turned his attention to the blonde haired god who had been trying to find a portal back to Asguard.

"So how's that portal coming them?" he asked.

"I can't get one, it's not working..." Thor was interrupted by Natasha as she walked over setting herself down in the chair he had spent the night in and began to play around on her computer screen.
Jessica sat strapped into a chair with several tubes and strange coloured liquids scattered around her. The red head had tried everything she could think of to get out of what was about to happen to her, she had screamed, cried, begged and even tried to make another run for it but once again she hadn't got far before one of the raven haired gods minions retrieved her.

Anger simmered inside the red head as Loki gently brushed his fingers across her cheek, turning she snapped her teeth at them.

"Fuck you!" she cussed hotly at him.

Loki frowned at her, "No need to get nasty" He told the red head with a frown on his face, he stepped back over to the desk where the control panel was. He sat down on the chair and looked at Jessica one last time, before he pressed the first button. His blue eyes watched as a needle slowly moved towards Jessica's right arm, he watched as the needle tip pierced through the skin of her arm.

He tried to block out any scream or cries that the girl made, he pressed another button and watched as a yellow liquid flowed through the clear tube until it reached the needle and flowed into Jessica's body.

"You'll feel yourself becoming warm," He told her with was one of the side affects, he had already tried this one another human that he simply came across. That human hadn't survived as he couldn't handle it, but he wanted Jessica because she'd be needed if her sister decided to get in the way.
Abby followed Steve as he pulled her into the room where the rest of the Avenger's were, she saw the look of sadness and disappointment on the God's face. She wanted to reassure him but if they couldn't get a portal open, then they couldn't get to her sister and anything could happen if they couldn't. She watched Natasha try her luck at trying to open a portal.

She looked around the room at all the people that were working to keep the world safe, "Can I try?" She asked watching as Natasha nodded her head before standing up from the chair, Abby sat down and looked at the buttons in front of her. She closed her eyes so she could focus on getting a sense or a vision about what she should do, she felt her fingertips come into contact with some buttons and could feel Thor watching her from over her shoulder which she normally hated.

Suddenly Thor reached over her and also pressed a few buttons as he helped her, as Abby opened her eyes again a siren sounded through the room. "They did it," Natasha commented as the sky started to become dark, they couldn't see it but it was happening on one of the many tv screens in the room. It was away from the city but the portal was slow to form, it wasn't a strong one but it would do.

Steve watched the young woman as she took the helm beginning to press buttons, it was like she had been doing this for years. Perhaps it was the shear desperation to get to her sister before anything horrible happened to her. However as much as the brown haired soldier wanted to believe that Abby's sister would be alright he had a feeling that he was wrong and that they were too late to save her.

"Let's get outside!" he suggested hoping that they would be quick enough to enter the portal to Asguard. He watched as the group of heroes ran from their spots, not before Tony grabbed some mechanical device, more then likely something to do with his Iron Man suit.

"Come on," he walked over grabbing Abby's hand and pulling her through the hallways, grabbing his shield he exited the building just in time to watch a bright column of swirling light break through the sky and hit the earth.

"Get ready!" Thor thundered and within seconds Steve felt himself being lifted off the ground harshly/
Jessica watched the machine intently as one of the needles pierced her skin, there was no pain, she didn't feel the point break her flesh nor did she feel the liquid enter her body. When the raven haired god told her she would feel warm she didn't believe him until a warmth began in her fingers and her toes slowly trailing up her body.

"W-what's going on?" she stuttered as she felt her cheeks heat up to an uncomfortable temperature.

Loki glanced over at Jessica, he noticed a pink flush settle across her cheeks. "You're starting to change," He told her simply as he watched the orange liquid empty the vile, he moved his finger over to another button. He was seconds away from pressing the button, until one of his army rushed into the room in a panic. He was told that a portal had been opened, he groaned as this wasn't part of his plan.

"Excuse me," He told Jessica even though she couldn't get anywhere, he walked out of the room and stalked through his castle to see this portal. "Close it!" He yelled at his army who had just been standing around like idiots, he pinched the bridge of his nose as he had to do everything himself. When he saw that the Avengers arrived through the portal, he rushed back into the lab to try and finish what he had already started with Jessica.
Abby felt Steve hold her hand as they were all sucked into the portal, it was so rough that her small hand slipped from Steve's. She was thrown around like a rag doll and felt nauseous when she came out of the portal, she stumbled a little into Steve's back who had exited the portal before her. "I never want to do that again," She murmured right before Thor threw his hammer into a creature, a creature that Abby had seen when Loki kidnapped her sister.

She felt Steve gently push her behind a large column so she was hidden, she waited until everyone was busy fighting so she could sneak off. She tried her hardest to be silent and hurry at the same time, her feet carried her through the large castle as she searched desperately for Jessica. She gasped once her eyes landed on her sister who was tied down to a chair, a needle was in her arm already. "Jessica no!" She cried out as she ran towards her sister, she pulled at the leather straps that were holding Jessica down. "I'm getting you out of her, Jess" She promised not caring what Loki did to her.

Steve had been sneaking around the columns trying to keep out of sight of the strange beings that were wandering the grounds. He turned looking to find the young woman he had hidden but his heart nearly stopped when he didn't see her. Turning he looked around everywhere for her. She had gone, almost like magic she had disappeared. Thor appeared from behind a column one of the creatures saw him and let out an awful sounding roar before running toward the blonde haired god. His body was large and heavy so it looked more like he was lugging his body rather then running.

Steve took this moment to race past while the others emerged and search for the young woman that had run off. He cursed silently at how silly she was being for disappearing in this place. Not knowing what was around the corner.
Jessica's mind was becoming hazy, her body felt as if it was on fire her eyes were growing heavy and all she wanted to do was sleep. That was until she heard her voice, opening her eyes through her blurred vision she saw a female figure running toward her. It wasn't until she was right in front of her face that she could see who it was.

"Abby?" she asked not sure if she was dreaming or if her sister was actually there, "Abby... you... is... is... it you?" she asked it was almost too much to even utter a sentence. "I'm so tired... my body... it's on fire..." she felt her eyes filling with tears. "What... what's happening... happening to me?"

Abby looked down at her sister, "Shh I'm right here. I'm here, Jess. I'm going to take you home, okay. Just stay awake for me" She promised her sister even if it was stupid to do so, Abby wasn't going to be leaving Jessica there without her. "I don't know but I'll stop it" She frowned seeing another coloured tube moving towards her sister's arm, she looked to the left to see a smirking Loki. "Stop it!" She screamed as she grabbed onto the needle, she was terrified but found strength from seeing the state that Loki had put Jessica in. She somehow managed to break the needle away from the glass tubes, she smashed the metal needle into the tube. She pushed aside any glass with her hand as the liquid hit her hand and Jessica's arm, but didn't get injected.

She heard a snarl before a thud echoed through the lab, an invisible force hit Abby and pushed her body backwards. She slid across the floor and instantly held her arm as sharp pain shot through the limb, she had let a scream pass her lips when she had landed.
Loki glared as he hit the floor with his staff, he smirked watching the young girl fly away from Jessica. "That was very silly of you, I needed that chemical. You can try all you like to stop this, but you will fail and your sister will kill you" He growled as he walked across the room, he hovered over the girl before he knelt down. "You've seen it, haven't you? You've seen how powerful Jessica will be, haven't you? You've seen her destroy the Avengers before she kills her own sister" He snarled ruthlessly, his hand covered the left side of Abby's face. Making her look at her sister, "No one is going to stop me"

He watched as tears pooled on the floor, sobs echoed in the lab and into the hallway. "She won't be Jessica for much longer, she's already changing" He smirked.

Through her hazy vision she saw her sister struggling with something and the next moment she was gone, "A...Abby," her voice was getting weaker slowly she was giving into the fire, into the strong feeling of fatigue that was taking over her body. Her sisters scream echoed in her mind but her body was too weak, too tired to do anything. instead she allowed her eyes to flutter closed.
Steve was alerted to the sound of Abby's scream, he quickly entered the building the sound had come from, racing down the hallway he found her, she was on the ground sobbing as Loki leaned over her talking. Looking around he saw her red hair sister strapped to a chair her eyes closed and a heap of liquid spilled around her feet as well as broken glass and needles.

"Loki!" he yelled as he threw his shield aiming for the Gods head.

Loki frowned when a voice sounded in his ears, he went to look at who was trying to ruin his plan. Although he didn't have time as a hard piece of metal slammed into the back of his head, he groaned in pain and felt his body land on the floor beside Abby. His vision was a little blurry and he laid still for only a few seconds, until he rolled over onto his front and started looking for his staff.

"No one will stop me!" He groaned loudly as he looked over at Steve, glaring he pushed himself to stand up. He would have grabbed a hold of the girl, but when he looked she was gone.
Abby crawled away as soon as Loki had fallen beside her, she looked at Steve knowing she should have stayed with him. But she couldn't, she had to find her sister. "Jessica, open your eyes" She hissed into her sister's ear, her hands untied one strap from Jessica's wrist and she leaned over to work on the other one. She could hear the fighting echoing from outside, it was becoming louder.

She was ignoring the pain that had filled her arm, she needed to get Jessica away from the God who was trying to hurt her.

Jessica was stirred from her state of sleep when she heard her sisters voice, in her weakness she allowed her eyes to open just in time to fall into her sisters arms. She wasn't fully aware of what was going on around her but she was aware that she was moving. She wash't sure if her legs were moving with her of if her sister was pulling her.

There was a voice, it was male, even though it sounded as if she was encased in a bubble she still knew it was male. It seemed as if they had stopped moving. It was brief before she was moving again still unsure as to how she allowed her eyes to close once again.
Steve turned his head looking in the same direction the dark haired god was looking only to find that the red head and her sister had disappeared. He allowed himself a small proud smile of Abby. He had to hand it to the girl she had stealth and speed. Loki roared causing the hero to bring his attention back to him. Quickly he grabbed the nearest thing. A large slab of something before he threw it at the gods head. The raven haired male crumpled to the ground.

Steve got to his feet grabbed his shield and ran just in time to see Abby running next to Thor who had Jessica in his arms. They made it back to the portal and each made their way though before it closed landing back on the ground they knew so well a few meters from base.

Loki roared in absolute rage when he found the chair was empty, he crumpled to the ground once again as something heavy connected with his head. He laid there still as he couldn't do anything now, he couldn't stop the Avengers nor could he get Jessica back. His plan was ruined and now he'd have to start all over again, with Jessica or he'd find someone else. He didn't care who he found, he just wanted his plan to go through and he'd make sure that it did.

He closed his eyes as pain filled his head, he pressed his cheek against the cool floor. He heard footsteps from his army but thankfully no one bothered him.
Abby knew that Thor would get her sister to safety, she went back through the portal for hopefully the last time ever. She stumbled a little when she landed on the ground, she looked back to make sure that Steve was there and he wasn't hurt. Thor lead the way back to the base so Bruce could get her into the medical wing and make her better, once they were at the base she watched as Thor and Bruce took Jessica away.

She turned and wrapped her arms around Steve, "Thank you so much. I couldn't have done it without you and everyone else, I can't thank you enough" She told him as she held onto him tightly.

Steve had just landed through the portal. Landing on his feet he stumbled a little but was able to keep his balance in time for the young woman to wrap her arms around him and thank him. He was caught by surprise at he action. Slowly his arms wrapped around her as he got used of the embrace. He allowed himself a smile before nodding his head.

"All in a days work ma'am," he looked down at her smiling gently at her. However the two were snapped out of it at the sound of Tony's voice.

"Oi lovebirds, you two might want to see this," arching one of his brows the male walked toward the medical room. Entering he found Jessica laid across the bed. She looked normal. A little worse for wear but nothing too out of the ordinary for what she had just been a victim of.

"What is it?" he asked baffled at what they needed to see.

"This," it was Bruce who spoke, Slowly he pulled back the rug exposing the wound where the needle had entered. Around the small hole Jessica's skin had turned blue and had the same look as ice, it was smooth in some patches and rougher in others, but at the same time it had bright orange lines through it, like veins.

    "What is it?" he asked.

"It looks like frost... like her skin is turning to ice." Bruce spoke, 'And these..." he ran his fingers over the orange lines.

    "Her veins." Tony spoke up.

Abby blushed as she heard what Tony said, she pulled back from the hug she had been giving Steve. She followed them over to see what Tony wanted to show them, her blue eyes fell onto her sister. At first everything seemed fine with Jessica, that was until she took a closer look when Bruce pulled back the rug that was keeping her sister warm.

A horrified gasp escaped passed her lips, her eyes couldn't look away from the blue tint that had formed on Jessica's skin and the orange lines. Tears quickly welled up in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks, she hadn't seen this happen in her mind. She had been to focused on finding her sister, she didn't consider what could actually happen if Loki did try to use her for his plan.

"No..." She whispered as her heart broke seeing her sister in that condition, "Fix her. Please fix her," She begged Bruce as she just wanted her sister back, the way she was before Loki got his hands on her. Anger pulsed through her body, "Bring the portal back." She demanded as her light eyes turned onto the God himself.

She needed to get back to Loki and make him pay for doing this to her sister, she needed to find out everything she could about what Loki was planning. What was in the vile that had been injected into Jessica, and how to reverse the effects of what was happening to Jessica.

"Woah, woah easy now, there is no way you are going back into that portal," Steve interjected quickly. When the young woman turned to look at him he saw the fire and anger that danced in her eyes. She was mad and determined. Steve knew that no matter how hard he tried to stop her there was no way he would be able to. His eyes drifted over to the blonde haired god.

"Steve is right, going back there would be suicide," Thor pointed out. The blonde knew his brother and he knew that Loki would not be happy with the loss of his new experiment and possible sidekick to help take over the world.

Bruce looked up from Jessica's body she was turning blue at a rapid speed now her lips were becoming a much darker blue to the wound on her arm. "Maybe it's the only way you are going to get a cure for Jessica before it's too late."

Abby looked around the team of heroes, "I don't care what Loki does to me. I need to save my sister and I will," She told them firmly as she'd do whatever it took to make sure Jessica was healed from whatever Loki was doing. She was already a freak so Loki might as well use her, for some reason her eyes moved over to Steve who still looked extremely handsome in his Captain America suit.

"If she's going to be going back there, she's not going alone." Tony spoke more to the team than to Abby herself, his voice held this tone where Abby nor anyone else was going to disagree with Tony. Abby turned her head to look at the Ironman, she didn't want anyone else to risk their lives for her or Jessica but it was probably the only way.

Natasha stepped forward, "This time we'll be more prepared. We'll go in so Abby can get whatever cure there is, we'll cover her so we can all return safely." She spoke even if she had never done this before, she doesn't really save people in this way but she had seen how close the sisters were. They were family and needed each other, she had also seen the way Abby and Steve looked at each other.

"Please open the portal?" Abby looked at the blonde God and gave him the best puppy eyes that she could, she needed Thor, well she really needed the whole team of heroes.

Steve listened to the conversation that was at hand and he couldn't deny the ferocity in the brunette, she was determined to save her sister. She showed bravery that he had never seen in a woman before, and a love so deep that she was willing to risk her life for her sister to make sure that she was saved. If that wasn't heroics he didn't know what was.

"Who will stay with Jessica?" he asked unsure as to whether it would be a wise choice to leave her alone. The room was swallowed into a silence before Bruce broke it.

"I will, I will monitor her changes and if they get worse I will contact Tony."

"Then it's settled." Tony spoke nodding his head. The rest of the crew nodded their heads before Abby spoke. They all watched as Thor brought back the portal before they ran out of the building leaving Bruce to close it making sure that no unwanted guests would arrive.
After passing out Jess woke in a dream. Looking around she saw she was back in Loki's abode only this time she wasn't constricted to anything. She was laid out on a bed in the softest sheets, slowly she pulled herself into a sitting position looking around. The door to her room was open which was odd. Getting to her feet she walked to the door, poking her head around she saw no one. No guard, no Loki nothing.

Taking a deep breath she stepped out into the corridor, the air around her suddenly became colder and a chill ran across her body.

"Jessica." the sound was no higher than a whisper. Turning around she saw no one there, "Jessica." there it was again. She didn't want to go for the cliched who's there so instead she went for something more direct.

"Loki?" a chuckle rang out. "Loki what have you done to me?" she asked her voice wavering.

"Why don't you see for yourself?" the sound was coming from the left of her, turning she a scream rang from her lips at what she saw. It was a reflection of her, only it wasn't her it was someone, something else. Skin like ice, a darker shade of blue, her eyes were black, her hair a crystal white and her veins, her veins were bright orange, tracks that could be traced easily through her skin.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!" she screamed as her voice broke and the sobs fell from her midnight blue lips.

"I have turned you into what I need. A weapon to destroy the Avengers." looking up she saw him in the reflection, he was standing right beside her an evil smile spread across his face. "Now wake."

Just like that Jess came to, her eyes snapping open just in time to see Bruce leaning over her to examine her further.

    "Help me," she sobbed.

Bruce had only just leaned over Jessica to examine her when her eyes shot open, he was a little startled and felt his heart increase slightly. "Shh Jessica, we're going to help you. You just have to relax, Abby shouldn't be much longer." He spoke as calmly as he possibly could, he wasn't sure if he was meant to actually tell Jessica what her sister was doing.

For right now, he'd have her stay calm and hopefully the team wouldn't take all that long in case Jessica did start asking questions. Questions that he shouldn't have to answer but would truthfully if she asked him.

"You'll be safe now, we'll protect you both." However he didn't know if she was going to be safe, if Loki had made his own portal down to Earth than he could most likely do it again if he wanted Jessica back.

He had gotten his hands on her once and now he was turning her into an icy monster, it wouldn't take much for him to kidnap her again if he wanted to finish seeing his plan come together.

He made her tell him about things that interested her while he ran a few quick tests and wrote down the results on the file he had made for her, it was obvious that she wasn't concentrating well and that was understandable considering everything she had just been put through by Loki.
Abby felt the portal suck her body upwards and she really did hate the feeling, she didn't know how Thor did it often. Once her feet connected with the ground, her eyes took in Loki's abode and they all knew it wouldn't be long until Loki's army found them again.

She felt someone take her wrist and she felt herself being pulled under cover by Natasha, the team followed as they needed to surprise Loki. He would still be getting over having his test subject taken from him, Abby knew it would take a lot for him to give her the cure for her sister.

But she wasn't leaving until he gave the cure to her and she found it, she was stubborn and she wasn't going to give up.

She wasn't going to let Loki win, Jess was ever going to join him and fight with him by her side. She wasn't that type of person, she was smart and beautiful and really good. She had such a big heart that nothing could turn that cold, Loki had picked the wrong girl to take and experiment on.

She stayed behind a large column as Natasha whispered out a plan to the team, Steve was going to stay with her and either find Loki or Loki's lab. The rest are going to keep the army busy and distracted long enough for Abby to do her thing, she nodded knowing the direction she needed to go.

So she held onto Steve's hand as they made their way towards Loki's lab, not that they got anywhere close to it.

A surprised gasp sounded from Abby when Loki suddenly appeared in front of her, he wasn't happy and it showed on his face. Abby told him that she was there for the cure, but her heart shattered when Loki laughed in her face and said there wasn't a cure.

Jessica's body had enough poison in it so she would slowly turn blue and icy, tears quickly welled up in her eyes and rolled her her cheeks. If Loki didn't make a cure, how was she going to safe her sister? She was distracted to see Loki reach out, his hand wrapped around her neck as he pinned her to the wall. Loki hit his staff against the cool ground which sent Steve flying back, his body hitting the wall hard.

Suddenly Abby saw red, this God was ruining everything and she was angry. She started fighting against him and kicked at his knee, which caused him to let her go and hold his leg. "You will pay for this," She threatened him coldly.

Jessica answered the males quickly and as accurate as she could but her mind was racing, she needed to see herself, she needed to see if she had become the creature in her dream. If she was what Loki had said. The weapon to destroy the Avengers. As soon as the dark haired male had finished spitting questions at her she rolled over her bed and even with her dizziness and lightheaded feeling she got to her feet and stumbled to the nearest mirror.

Her heart broke at the reflection. The transformation had began.

Her eyes and lips were blue and icy tracks were beginning to spread across her face, looking down she saw the large patch that had taken over much of her arm, it was beginning to creep over her shoulder and down toward her wrist. The orange tracks were becoming more and more prominent. Looking up she saw her hair was slowly fading with colour and the corners of her eyes were slowly fading to black.

"It's too late," she sobbed turning back to the male who held his clipboard close and his glasses in one of his hands. "He's won."
Steve didn't have a chance to stop Loki before he was flying through the air, hurtling backwards. His back came in hard contact with a wall. A loud groan fell from his lips but he was back on his feet quicker then Loki could blink. He went to move toward Abby and rip the raven haired male off of her but when he saw Loki crumble to the ground and Abby fall on her feet he couldn't help but smile.

Walking up he kicked the god in the face with such a force that his head snapped back and he was surprised that it didn't break. Instead blood streamed from his nose.

"What is going to happen to Jessica?" he ordered. He watched as the god tilted his head to look at the two of them a bloody smirk spreading across his face

Bruce slipped his glasses into the front pocket on his shirt, he set his clipboard down and gently held onto Jessica's arms. "It's not too late, he isn't going to win. The team are will Abby, their going to bring back a cure for this. If it doesn't work, then I'll do my best to make a cure for you." He told her seeing how truly upset she was.

She was still so young and had her whole life ahead of herself, Abby was the same and yet her life had already been turned upside down. He wasn't going to let this happen to the sisters, neither of the deserved this. He still didn't know why Loki wanted to have Jessica as his weapon, it didn't make sense because she was this small girl. It would have been better for Loki to find a strong muscular male, but he didn't want to start thinking about what ran through the God's head.

"You need to rest, I don't know how fast this will spread." He told her needing her to stay as calm as she could, which was harder than it seemed because anyone would be freaking out. But Bruce had no idea if that would speed up the change, he needed to find a way to stop it or at least slow it down. So he went back to the test results and he wouldn't stop until he was able to help.
Loki looked up at the two and smirked evilly at them, "She's becoming my weapon. She's going to kill all the Avengers, then I'll have her kill you." He looked straight at Abby and chuckled, "She won't know your her sister. All she'll do is listen to what I say, after you're out of my way than she'll help me take over the whole world. She'll kill anyone who gets in my way, and I will take her back from you." He told them in such an evil voice, it sent a shiver down Abby's spine.

Abby listened to what Loki was saying and her heart shattered into a million tiny pieces, they finally knew what his plan was with her sister and the last piece of hope that she had been clinging onto simply vanished. Maybe this was the time when she couldn't save her sister, she couldn't help Jessica beat what Loki was making her turn into.

"You aren't getting your hands on her again," Abby said as it was all she could get out, turning she walked away as she couldn't look at him anymore. She was lost in what she could do, there wasn't a cure and Jessica was already changing. It wouldn't be long before that coldness covered Jessica completely, she was in a daze and hadn't realised that the team was taking care of a few of Loki's army. "Cap, it's time to go!" Hawkeye called out to Steve as he ran over and took a dazed Abby into his arm when his shouting wasn't getting through to her, he lifted her up and carried her over to the open portal.

Jessica didn't want to rest, she wanted to vanish, she wanted to disappear and get away from everyone. She didn't want to hurt anyone, especially her sister who had been with her through everything. The loss of their parents had brought the two closer together and she couldn't handle what was happening. She couldn't turn to her now. She couldn't let her see her in this situation. What she was turning into would cause grown mean to shake in their boots. Abby was a strong girl there was no denying it but could she handle what Jessica was becoming.

"You have to take me away... Abby cannot see me like this... please..." she begged the dark haired male. "I can't be around you... I can't be around any of you... I will kill you... That is what he said... I would bring the downfall of the Avengers... I was his secret weapon... please Bruce take me away... lock me up somewhere... hide me... do anything just don't let my sister see me like this I beg of you." Tears fell from her eyes trailing down her cheeks as sobs broke from her lips. Jessica was desperate.
Steve listened to the raven haired god, every word that left his lips caused the brown haired soldier to become madder and the urge to leave him in a bloody mess became more and more perfect. However he didn't have time before Hawkeye broke up his train of thought when he told them they had to leave. For good measure the male kicked his face again spraying more blood across the marble flooring.

"You will not get away with this Loki..." was all he said before turning, grabbing Abby and running out of the abode with her into the portal that had opened. All of them leapt through, the spinning sensation lasted only a few moments before they were all spat out onto the ground. Groaning he got to his feet and listened to voices.

    Jessica... she was awake.

Bruce really did feel bad for the girl, he knew exactly what she was going through. He never wanted to be an oversized green monster, but he was and it really did suck sometimes. He was scared to get close to anyone or to get even the slightest bit angry, he turned around so he could look at the young girl. His heart broke when he saw her sadden eyes and listened to her beg, "Abby will never stop loving you. You two are sisters, nothing can break that bond." He tried his best to reassure her but it was clear nothing he said could make her feel any better, or to change her mind. He was certain that her sister wouldn't care what she was turning into, but he also had to think about himself and the other Avengers.

If Loki made her into his secret weapon than she'd only grow into power and would probably be unstoppable, a monitor beeped when a portal opened and he knew he had to make his decision now before anyone returned. He looked at Jessica and rested his hand over her's, "Give me a few hours. I will take you away at night," He told her quickly, he had many secret locations that she could hide in. He had hid in all of them when he struggled to keep The Hulk calm.

He stepped away from her and pretended like he was still working on saving Jessica, so no one would think otherwise. He'd get into so much trouble for taking Jessica away, but it would be worth it if it meant Loki couldn't get his hands on her again.
Abby had instantly pushed herself up onto her feet, even if the landing had knocked the wind out of her. She inhaled deeply to fill her lungs as she rushed through the station, she just wanted to see her sister again. But when she came to the lab and she saw how scared Jessica was, her heart shattered into tiny pieces all over again. The icy blue tint was slowly spreading across more of her skin, she felt like she had failed her sister. She couldn't get Loki to stop the change and there wasn't an antidote for what he had done, she couldn't do anything for her sister now and she felt so useless.

She was so upset that no visions were making their way into her mind, so she had no idea what Bruce or Loki were planning. She moved over to Jessica and wrapped her sister in her arms, "I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, Jess. I can't stop this, Loki had nothing and he was happy that you were changing." She began to cry as she let out all of her emotions that she had been holding inside, she needed to be strong for Jessica and crying wasn't a way to be strong.

"I won't stop though, we'll find something or someone to help you." Abby promised Jessica as she wouldn't stand back and do nothing, this was her sister and the only person she had left in the world. Nothing would take Jess away from her.
