Jessica saw her sister enter and a scream built in her chest, she tired to hide, she tried to get away but was stopped when she felt a warm pair of arms around her. As much as the red head wanted to pull her away tell her to stay away from her a stronger urge to hold her close for as long as she could. The red head was certain she only had a few hours before she was the monster Loki so wanted her to be.

"I know you can't change this Abby... but you..." the words stuck in her throat as she fought to say what she needed to, "You need to get away from me... all of you do... Loki has turned me into this monster for one reason and one reason only. To bring The Avengers down..."

"We won't let that happen Jessica," it was Steve who spoke up surprising everyone in the room. "We will find a way to stop this, to cure you..."

"You can't..." she spoke pulling away from her sister, "There is no cure..."

"There has to be, Loki just isn't telling us what it is... he is selfish," Thor boomed loudly. He stepped between Tony and Steve walking toward the red head and her sister. Gently he took her hand in his. The warmth that spread across her chilling body caused her to gasp and close her eyes. "Once there was a kindness to my brother, and I am sure somewhere locked deep inside him there still is... Jessica you have to find that kindness... I feel that if you do there is a possibility he will remove this curse from you and return you to the way you were."

"I tried... I tried to talk to him but as soon as I broke down a wall another came up..."

"He has many layers... just dig deep."
"What are you saying?" Steve fired at the blonde haired god as he stepped over wrapping one of his arms comfortingly around Abby who was just as confused as he was. Thor turned to him.

"I am saying that she must go back to him... she must gain his trust... once she has that she can bring his walls down and perhaps find a cure for what he has cast on her."

"Are you saying she has to pretend to like what he has done to her."

"If that is what it takes then yes."

    "Are you insane? It's cr-"

"No Cap, it could work," it was Tony who spoke up causing all to spin and look at him Steve's brows knotted in disbelief.

Abby's head quickly turned so she was looking at Tony, she couldn't believe what he and Thor were saying. They had just gotten Jessica away from Loki, there was no way in Hell that she was letting her sister go back to that monster. "Are you two insane? Jess isn't going anywhere near that monster, look at what he's done to her!" Her voice raised as she was getting angry, the group of heroes were suppose to protect the innocent and keep them safe.

Not let someone like Loki get his hands on someone, "I saw him. He's not going to stop, if Jess goes back to him then he'll only continue to ruin her life. She's not going anywhere," She spoke sternly as she sent a glare at both Tony and Thor.

Turning she looked at her sister, "And I'm not going anywhere. We're sister, Jessica. We stick together through everything, I don't care what's happening to you. I'm not leaving," She promised Jessica as they could get through all of this together, they always got through things together because they loved each other and would never leave one another.
It was obvious to the heroes that Abby was too close to her sister to be able to see and think clearly, none of them wanted to give Jessica back to Loki but it was the only option that they had at that time. "How about we go find some clothes for Jessica, Abby? I'm sure she'll want a shower and clean clothes," Natasha spoke as she stepped forward.

She lightly touched Abby's arm and knew that she'd have to get the girl away from the Captain, "She'll be okay." She assured the girl who was about to say no, she watched as Jessica nodded to her sister before she guided Abby away. It would be easier for them to talk about this without a defensive Abby saying no to everything they suggested, she knew Abby would be angry when she found out but it was for the best.

    (Sorry for the short reply.)

Jessica almost cried out when the blonde haired God stepped away from her taking his warmth with him. The red head couldn't help but watch him, it took all her strength not to give in and follow him wrapping her arms around him just so she could feel warm and not cold, not like ice. Instead she stood there while her skin continued to change before her. Instead she looked at her sister, she looked at Abby and saw the determination on her face and the flicker of pain and fear. Jessica wanted to reach out to her to run her fingers through her hair in reassurance but she couldn't she didn't want to touch her sister afraid that she may cause more damage then help.

"I-I know..." she spoke even though the words stuck in her throat. "I love you Abby," she said tears welling in her eyes as she looked at her sister. The one person she couldn't live without, the person who had been her mother and her father when the two of them lost them in the tragic accident that gave Abby her abilities. Jessica gasped when her sister wrapped her arms around her and she fought back the tears that were threatening to fall. Abby wasn't as warm as Thor but she still radiated a comforting heat.

When Natasha walked up and suggested the two search for clothes for Jessica the red head knew there was more to it. She knew they were going through with that they had been talking about. As much as it hurt her to know she would be leaving her sister she knew it was best. If she could break down Loki's walls she may be able to return as herself and not the ice creature she was becoming.

Lifting her eyes she watched as her sister was led out of the room and Thor moved to stand in front of her a somewhat forlorn look on his face. "I am sorry," he apologised.

"If it is the only way I will do it... but make it quick I don't want Abby to see." Thor nodded his head in understanding. "Make sure you know the consequences for your actions." she said looking around the room. She was afraid of what would happen when her sister came back and saw her gone.

"Bruce, Tony if you please," the two males nodded their head walking over to the computer screens where they began to play around. Thor lifted Jessica into his arms, her head rested against his strong chest. The red head allowed herself to enjoy the feeling of warmth seeping through her warming her, knowing this may be the last time she enjoys the feeling. The blonde haired god walked out of the building and into the night. Closing her eyes she waited before she was pulled into a vortex. Clinging to the God she tried to calm her breathing and heart rate. He held her tightly as they were transported between worlds.
Steve watched after the young woman as she was lead out of the room by the red haired assassin. He turned and watched as Thor lifted the red head into his arms, he noticed the way she melted to him, her head on his chest as her eyes fluttered closed. Tony and Bruce hurried over to the computers and began to meddle around with the screens as the blonde walked out into the night with the young woman.

The brown haired male watched as a column of light descended down sucking the two of them into it and vanishing as they were transported to Asgard where he knew Loki would be waiting. His hands clenched into fists. Surely there would have been a better solution then to send her back to the animal that had taken her humanity away from her.

Turning back he looked at the entrance dreading when Abby would return to find her sister gone.

Thor held the young human girl tightly in his muscular arms, he knew how risky this was considering Loki could just as easily continue with his plan and turn Jessica more into the monster that she was becoming. He felt horrible that he was taking this innocent girl back to his brother, having her in his arms with her pretty eyes closed was torture for Thor. He wanted to help her but Loki was the only person who could fix this, if he would or not that was what Thor was concerned with.

He was glad that he wouldn't be there when Abby returned to the room, he could only imagine what she'd do. If anyone took his brother away than he wouldn't stop until he found Loki, they didn't always see eye to eye and Loki had been adopted by his parents but Thor still and would always consider Loki his brother. Which is why when his brother stepped out onto the steps of the building, Thor didn't turn back around and travel through the portal again.

"I've been waiting for you, brother. I know that you'd bring her back to me," Loki spoke as a grin formed across his face as he saw Jessica in his brother's arms, the cold darkness had already formed and was slowly spreading across her milky skin.

"Please, come this way." He turned and begun to walk towards the room where he first had Jessica, he could have taken her to the lab and given her more of the liquid. But he wanted her to rest and to have her regain her strength, he glanced over his should to make sure his brother was following him which he was. Opening the door he held it open as he watched Thor closely, Thor gently laid Jessica on the bed and tucked the blanket around her body although he doubted that it would keep her warm. "You can stop this, Loki. Thinking about her, she's innocent in all of this and she's a human being. She doesn't deserve this and neither does her sister," Thor told his brother but kept his blue eyes focused on Jessica, his heart broke for her and everything that she was being put through.
Abby had picked out some clothes for her sister although there wasn't much to chose from, but Abby made it work before she turned to Natasha once she was happy with the clothing items she had found. "Alright, let's go back." She didn't want to be away from Jessica for much longer, her sister needed her right now and she'd be there constantly. She saw the unsure look that apart across the red heads face, but Abby didn't care as she begun to walk in the direction that she had come from.

She had the folded clothes in her hands as she walked briskly through the hallways, her lighter hair bounced slightly as she walked and had fallen back over her shoulders as she was in a rush. She ignored anything that she heard as she was focusing on one thing, Jessica. They only had each other now, after the accident Abby had changed but she knew she had to be strong for her sister. She was all Abby had now.

As she rounded a corner her feet picked up slightly in speed, she entered the room but shortly after froze to the spot. Her brown eyes landed on an empty bed and her heart beat started to race, her eyes searched the room but when she didn't find her sister and didn't see Thor, she knew what was going on. The clothes fell from her hands and landed on the floor, "Jess?" She continued to look around the room as tears filled her eyes, it wasn't long before the tears were spilling over and running down her cheeks.

"Why would you do this? She needs to be here with me, not with that monster who started all of this. Why can't any of you understand that!" Abby was getting angry and her heart was breaking more with every second that passed, she needed her sister because Jessica was the only one who could keep her calm. Being calm lessened the visions that came to Abby, "Bring her back now." She demanded and glared at Tony who had taken a step towards her, "This is the only thing that could save her." He spoke calmly as he did want to help the girls.

"I would have found a way to save her!" Abby snapped and felt Natasha's hand on her shoulder, an tempt to either calm her down or make her feel better. It didn't work and Abby pulled away from the touch, the tears had blurred her vision. Her breathing became swallow and quick as sobs escaped from her lips, she cried and felt like her knees would give way at any time.

(No, you can get lost whenever you like. Cute)

Steve turned in time to see Abby enter the room, he watched as she began to hurry around the room crying out for her sister. It broke the males heart as he watched her break down and ask for her sister. When Tony tried to calm her down reassuring her that what they were doing was going to help her in the long run. When Natasha placed her hand on her shoulder in a reassuring way nothing helped her, nothing calmed Abby. She wanted her sister and she wanted her now.

Steve came to the realisation that Jessica was more than just her sister, she was her rock. She was the normal one that kept her sister grounded and stopped the fear that she had for her power. He walked over to her when she fell to the ground in tears sobbing heavily. She fell against him as she let her emotions out. Wrapping his arms around her he held her and allowed her to let everything out.

Steve moved his arms, so one was supporting her back while the other held under her knees slowly he got to his feet and held the woman close as she sobbed, everyone watched him but none spoke as the superhero left the room and headed toward a quite room where he could lay her and speak to her when she was ready for it.
Jessica fell in and out of consciousness as she went through the swirling vortex of colour as everything continued, as her body transformed into what it was becoming. She was glad that the God held her close his warmth radiating onto her warming her and making her feel comfortable. She heard his voice and she felt it in his chest as he spoke. But she also heard the voice of the other God, the one who had brought this onto her.

"Please, don't leave me." she begged weakly when the male placed her on the bed his warmth leaving her and making her shiver. She yearned for his body next to hers again. "Please... Please," she begged her eyes opening and closing as she spoke. Emotion building in her voice as she begged. She listened to the Gods speak even though she didn't hear it all.

"I'm so cold," she cried softly as she wrapped the blanket around her trying to warm herself up. She wanted the God of Mischief to put a stop to this, she would do anything for him as long as he stopped this torture he was putting her through. "Please Loki... I will do anything but... but please don't turn me to ice... please! I beg you." she prayed that he would put a stop to it.

Thor glanced down at the human girl when she begged for him to stay there beside her, he couldn’t imagine what it was like. Going through what she was, turning into an ice monster and being so cold all the time. How could anyone stand back and watch this happen to someone so innocent? Is that how cold Loki’s heart was now? It never used to be like that, he never used to be like this. “Listen to her brother, if you continue this then she isn’t going to do your dirty work for you. She isn’t going to follow orders, you can change her but she won’t be your soldier.” Thor spoke firmly to his brother, his stormy blue orbs flashing over to where his brother stood. He had never been this disappointed in anyone before now, moving closer to Jessica so she could try and engulf herself with his body warmth although it wasn’t going to last much longer.

Loki watched on as he stood in the room, a frown covered his brow as he listened to what his brother was saying. No one understood and he wasn’t going to explain a single thing to his brother, “You brought her back. Now leave, you don’t belong here.” He spoke stepping closer to Thor, his hand pushing his brother away from the bed and away from the girl. “If you or any of your friends come back here, my soldiers will kill each and every one of you.” Loki threatened as he looked into his brother’s eyes, so Thor would know just how serious he was being. He wouldn’t allow anyone to come between him and Jessica again, no one was going to get pass him and his army to steal the girl from him. He watched as two of his soldiers entered the room, making Thor walk out as he didn’t hold much trust for his brother these days.

Turning he looked down at Jessica and gently smoothed back some hair that was over her face, “We can’t stop now. We’ve come this far, the cold will settle in shortly and will become a part of you. You won’t even notice the cold then,” He assured her as he sat down on the edge of the bed, she wouldn’t be scared for much longer. There only needed to be two more sessions before she would finally turn into the weapon that he wanted, she would be unstoppable once he was finished with her.
Abby was panicking, she could feel it forming inside her body. Her breathing wasn’t stable and her heart was trying to break free from her chest, she couldn’t focus on anything around her and hardly realised that someone had lifted her up and was carrying her somewhere. She has only felt this way a few times before and each time she had Jess there, Jess had calmed her down and talked her through the panic attack but now was different. Jessica not being there was the reason for the panic attack, so Abby didn’t see how she would be able to calm down on her own because she couldn’t think straight. Once her body was laying down on a bed, she instantly curled up into a ball as she wanted to hide away from everyone. She didn’t want anyone to see her in such a mess, so she squeezed her eyes shut to block it all out.

She knew someone was still there with her though, a hand gently touched her back as if they weren’t sure if they should touch her. But it wasn’t enough to calm Abby’s wild emotions, Jess was her rock and always has been. They’ve always had each other, been best friends since before they were born. Joined at the hip, if you got one then you got both sisters. But now everything was different and Abby didn’t want to deal with the change, the accident had caused her to receive visions that she never wanted and now Loki was turning Jess into an ice monster for his own pleasure. Life was shit right now and nothing Abby did could fix it.

Soon her breathing was coming out in short gaps for air, like she couldn’t inhale enough air to fill her lungs. It was then that she felt a pair of strong arms move over her body, familiar arms that were incredibly warm and tender. The arms held her carefully like she would break under any pressure, but the hold was still secure and protecting. Abby laid there as warmth surrounded her body from the other person, her mind was running a million miles all at the same time. She wasn’t sure how long she was like that as she had no way of keeping track of the time, it felt like hours before the warmth turned soothing because it never once left her. Slowly the tears stopped forming and her heart beat slackened in speed, her breathing also gradually stabilized and it was only then that her eyes opened. Her cheeks were covered in tear stains and she still looked a mess, but her eyes landed on Steve. It was him that had carried her to someplace quiet and hadn’t left her, he was still holding her even if he looked uncomfortable. He was half sitting on the bed and half off, but he was still there and hadn’t moved. “What if I can’t be without her?” Her voice was weak and raw from the sobbing, she doubted that Steve would hold her answer but the question left her lips before she could think about it.
