[OUAT was soooo good last night, oh my God Swoon]

Krissy was still trying to decide what to do when the door opened. Looking to it, she saw Derek standing there. He looked pretty damn exhausted, though that was to be expected after the rough night he'd just endured. "Hi." She said quietly, unsure really of what else she was supposed to say. She knew that they had things to talk about, that she had a shitload of explaining to do, but that didn't mean it made the talking part any easier. In fact, it made it harder for her. She didn't even really know where to start. "How's Cora?"
Scott chuckled slightly. "Alright." He said. He hoped that she didn't completely regret moving here. Despite everything, he was glad that she was around. Sure, things were pretty hectic right now, but that didn't mean that he didn't like having her in Beacon Hills. She was probably one of the few good things that had happened to this town as of late. He nodded in response to her words. "Yeah, they'll be fine." He was glad that both Boyd and Derek's sister Cora would be okay. After discovering that Erica wasn't, it was just a relief knowing that there hadn't been other casualties. "Listen, about Allison..."

    [ I know right! ]

Derek hadn't really figured this would be the most normal conversation in the world or anything, honestly he'd kind of expecting it to be awkward. Though considering he'd never thought this would actually be happening given he'd thought she was dead and all it made sense that it wouldn't be a normal conversation, or that it would indeed be awkward. However he hadn't expected it to feel this awkward when he'd found out she was alive again. Probably because this wasn't an awkward 'it's been a few years since we've seen each other' awkward. This wasn't one of those time when it'd been a few years and they didn't know much about one another any more because they'd grown apart. This was a more of an awkward I don't know what to say kind of thing. And well he didn't know what to say anymore than she did. It'd been years since he'd seen her last, but the thing was the last time he'd seen her he'd also been holding her in his arms while she died. He'd spent all these years trying to find a way to come to terms with her death and not let it eat him alive only to find out she wasn't dead. Honestly he didn't know how to deal with this, but he was going to find a way because he knew it had to be dealt with. "She'll be okay." He told her shrugging his shoulders a little, "she really just needs to rest. And I don't want her worrying about everything that's going on." He told her since he knew that couldn't be good for her recovery. "Uh you wanna come in?" He asked finally figuring the least he could do was invite her in and they could talk about everything inside.
"That's good." Kalin said glad they'd be okay, even though she didn't really know them that well she wouldn't have wanted them to die. She bit her lip, this was the conversation she'd known they'd have sooner or later. Of course it was kind of clear that they needed to have it and one that she knew she wanted to have no matter how weird it was. Because Kalin really liked him, she liked Scott a lot more than any other guy she'd 'liked' before but she wanted to know where they stood. Were they just friends, on there way to being more than friends, could they ever be more than friends with Allison in the picture. She just needed answers, no matter how weird the conversation might've been. "I'm listening." She said not sure what he had to say about her, but she knew what she had to say about the whole matter.

Krissy nodded. "That's good." She said quietly. She was glad to hear that his sister was doing okay now. She knew that he'd been worried when they were trying to figure out a way to capture both Cora and Boyd, and rightfully so. She nodded once more, stepping through the doorway. This was proving to be rather awkward. She knew that she had a lot of explaining to do, she just didn't really know where to start. He wanted and explanation, and she completely understood why he wanted one, but there were just so many things that she had to tell him. "So...you wanted to talk?"
Scott sighed. "Allison and I aren't together anymore." He told her. "We were together for a while, and things were pretty serious, but they aren't anymore obviously. I don't really know where she and I stand anymore, but I just want you to know that I like you, Kalin. I like you a lot actually. I understand if Allison being my ex, and also being a good friend of yours changes things between us, but I just thought you should know what's been on my mind a lot lately." He cut himself off before he rambled on even more. He watched her silently, waiting for her response.

"Yea it is." Derek told her nodding his head, it was definitely a good thing that Cora and Boyd made it out of the bank vault, and the school, and everything they'd been through over the last few months safe and sound. Sure it might take a bit until they were both normal again and all but he was sure that they'd be fine. Which was all he could ask for. "I did," he said biting his lip. He wasn't entirely sure where they should start, or even how they should start. But well honestly they needed to start somewhere. "There's just a lot that I think we both need to get out." He told her rubbing his neck, "I mean I have a lot of questions and I'm sure you have some of your own."
Kalin let Scott talk, and decided to take a chance when he was done talking by kissing him. "I don't think we should let Allison stand between us." She said softly when she pulled away, and she really did mean that. She was friends with Allison, and she got that Scott was Allison's ex but she didn't think that that should matter really. As long as Scott wasn't dating Allison still or they were talking of getting back together and all then all was well. "Plus I'm sure she'd want you to be happy even if it was with someone else. So as long as you're okay with this know I'm okay with this."

Krissy nodded. "Yeah, I think you're right..." She said quietly. She knew that they had a lot to talk about. Both of them probably had a lot to say to the other, and there were just questions that needed answering, and really this conversation just needed to happen either way. It was kind of inevitable really. There was no way of getting around it. If they both wanted to move forward, not to say that anything would actually come of this, then this conversation had to happen.
Scott's eyes widened in surprise when she leaned up and kissed him. He kissed her back though, smiling when she pulled back and spoke. "Good, I don't think we should either." He said quietly. He didn't want Allison to be the reason why they didn't try things out between them. Sure, she was his ex, and one of Kalin's close friends, but he and Allison didn't seem like they'd be getting back together anytime soon or at all for that matter. "I'm okay with this. I'm really okay with this."

"Well whatever you want to know I'll tell you." Derek told her hoping she'd do the same for him, because he had a lot of questions that he wanted truthful answers to. And he didn't see why she'd hide anything from him, really he didn't have anything to hide from her either. He'd hate it if they did feel like they had to hide things from one another though. Sure he hadn't seen her since before the fire, and well a lot had changed since then including himself, but that didn't change the fact that he used to know her. Hell he'd loved her, and to this day he tried his best not to think about her because it was to painful to go down memory lane with that. After all he had spent every day since the last time he'd seen her thinking it was his fault she'd died.
Kalin was glad he was just as okay with this as she was, she was glad that neither of them wanted Allison to be what stopped them from taking a chance. They could both still care about Allison and have the girl in there lives without worrying about her surely. They were open see one another if they wanted just as much as Allison was open to see whoever she wanted, and Kalin was pretty sure Allison would understand that too which was also good. "Glad we're on the same page then." She replied softly with a smile. Kalin had a good feeling about whatever this was, or maybe she just had a good feeling about Scott. It was obvious that he was one of the few good guys left in the world, which was probably the card she'd pull if he ever had to meet her dad. Which really that was a day Kalin didn't want to even imagine right now.
