Emma smiled a little as she headed off to school in the morning. She was a good student - a goody two shoes in all aspects of the phrase. It wasn't really a bad thing - not when she got the grades that she got and the praise that she got from all of her teachers. She never caused any trouble and was nice to everyone, shied away from the students who she knew as trouble and was managing to make it through high school with a 3.90 GPA and becoming very successful. She knew she had a full life ahead of her and she wanted nothing more than that, even if now, she still was managing to get by with her virginity intact and barely a simple kiss from any guy. It wasn't anything she was worried about - it just couldn't be... She had more important things to worry about than that kind of stuff. That was for later in life. She barely paid attention to any of it anyway.

    [sorry for a terrrrrible beginning]

    (It's not terrible! Don't worry.)
James adjusted his hat, sitting in his car. His rent was almost due, and he was still without a job. His two hands clasped the sides of the steering wheel, his head resting in the middle. Sighing, he swore. He knew he would need to start his life, and that first step is to find a career. Starting his truck, he shifted his gear to D. Pressing on the gas pedal, he drove around, thinking about certain things he could do. James grew up on a farm, and thought about finding something involved with farming. He stopped near the school, and parked a block away from it before pulling out his phone. Right, phone bills almost due, too.
Pulling up the classifieds, he found the perfect job.

Emma got to the school in her little convertible car, mint green - her favorite color. She found a spot that was nearly saved for her. She lived a good life... Her parents were married and quite well off - she lived in a richer part of town where her parents were probably the richest of them all. She lived in a nice big house and was an only child - so she was normally spoiled - though also very sheltered and kept innocent. It was quite nice really.
As she got out of the car, she hugged herself into her thin jacket. It was a rather warm spring day, so she was dressed casually and just simply. It was just perfect.

HELP WANTED: chores around the farm.
James was joyous to read this. It was a suitable job for him, and didn't require education, considering he didn't graduate. Jamie pulled out his cellphone, and called the number on the ad. It was a short and brief conversation, but let's just say that no one had taken the job yet, and the pay was $14 a hour. Not bad, considering he was broke right now. He smiled at himself, proud that he got a job.

Emma went to her class, smiling at nearly everyone there we she walked in. They all knew her, and not like they all knew sluts... She wasn't a slut - she was much different than them. She was just the girl that was really friendly and innocent - and everyone liked to talk to her. It was nice being that girl, because she wasn't invisible, but not a bad girl either.

James decided that Starbucks was the way to go. He pulled out his arm to check out the time.
    3:09
He drove his little truck to Starbucks, where he ordered a coffee with cream. He drank it gleefully.. Never had James been so happy before. He was usually glum, loping around like a fat cow. Eating and sleeping, watching television occasional. Of course this small job made James feel super wealthy, but he still lived in a little house, and unfortunately, by himself. He wasn't known around the town, nor does he make his appearance. He just recently turned 20, and everyone gawked at him. People teased him about how much of a fail his life was, what his life would end up like: Drugs, sleeping with prostitutes, alcohol, etc. No one never took the time to know him, for he didn't purchase drugs, nor did he purchase prostitutes, and only drank on social occasions.

When Emma made her way out of school, she went over to the little Starbucks there. She grabbed herself a small hot coffee and took a seat. This was her homework place. She pulled out some of her most difficult things and smiled lightly. It was nice to be here. She was a person watcher so she watched everyone. She watched everyone, wondering what their lives were like. She just liked it.

For some reason, the girl across from Jamie caught his eye. It wasn't because he liked her or anything, it's just that her life must be so different then his. She was doing some work, probably too complicated for his so called idiot mind. Her hair was in perfect condition, and he could smell it from where he was sitting. He started thinking of what his life would be like living where she was, because he too, was a people watcher.

Emma felt someone watching her. She looked up for a moment and caught the eyes of a boy across the way looking at her. She looked away right away. He seemed so bad. A bad type of guy... Just so different from her and she couldn't put herself in any funny positions like that. She looked out the window that she was sitting at then and just shook her head. She didn't know what to think of it. Usually guys just didn't look at her, and she didn't know what to think - she didn't really like having guys looking at her.

James looked at his tattoos, trying to remember what each one's meaning was, but couldn't remember. That girl looked like a "prissy", a little "goody two shoes". Of course James wasn't a pussy, so he got up and walked over to her. "So, are you a good girl? Top grades, perfect life, wealthy..." he asked.

Emma looked up at him when he approached, surprised by his move. Most weren't so forward..: it was surprising - but maybe she liked surprises... It took her a moment to comprehend what he was saying and then she blushed all the more, nodding her head. "I... I guess so." She said softly, managing a smile.

"Thought so." he leaned back. He didn't know why he was here, talking to this girl. She wasn't his type, after all. He took a sip of his coffee, and observed her facial features. Her hair was a beautiful color, and her lips were full. Definitely kissable. Her nose may have been a bit wide, but it certainly brought out her big eyes. Must belong to some parents who are wealthy, judging by her clothing, and the way she talked and blushed. "Where you from?"

Emma didn't exactly understand this. She didn't know how some guy like this - some guy who was certainly not her type - could be talking to her like this. It was definitely different, though she was intrigued... Maybe it was the sleeve of tattoos or the way that he seemed to be questioning her all this time with this eyes - the intensity there.... Just something was intriguing. Not intriguing enough to do anything about it of course, but he looked at her with a sort of expression of lust that she had never seen in a guy looking at her before - and she would never act on anything of the sort. "I live in town. I go to the private school just down the street from here... I'm a senior - I graduate this year." She was younger than the rest. She had just barely turned seventeen when everyone else was turning eighteen. That was why she worked so hard. "What about you?"

James tilted his head, leaning against the chair in Starbucks. He gave her a open smile. Gosh, if there was anything he desired, it was to grab her glossy deep red/brown hair, and touch it. According to guys like himself, she would be consider a huge catch, considering the money (usually to buy alcohol) the good looks (to have sex with) and the good education, which would come in use for the future. This was ridiculous though, since James was not ever ready to settle down and devote himself to a single women, as hot as she was. He liked fucking random girls he met on the streets. The routine was usually to find them, date them for a week or two, before they dumped him for being a ass. "Private school, I don't doubt it." he laughed, a charming smile appeared on his face. "I'm not going to tell you my age, I want you to guess." he teased.

Emma could see something in him - something that seemed calculating and serious as he watched her, and it almost scared her. She knew of this type of guy. She was innocent, but not naive- well, maybe she was, but she wouldn't tell herself that. She rested her chin on her hand softly as she watched him and nervously ran a hand through her long brown with a tint of red hair. It was all natural. She looked up at him nervously, wondering about what he was hoping to get out of her for the time being, but then he flashed a charming smile and she gave up caring for a few moments. He was cute, in a bad boy kind of way, and she knew she would keep herself unattached and uninvolved, but it would all be good... "Hmm..." She said at his challenge and a light blush came over her cheeks. "So - not high school level then hmm? Older?"

"Not high school level. In fact, I have ought to go to work soon. No school for this bad boy." He chatted with her, listening to her soft voice speak. While this happened, he ripped a chunk of the napkin, and wrote his number on it. On the bottom of the note, he wrote:
    PS: I'm 20.
He managed to tuck it inside her binder casually, without her suspecting anything. "I best be going to work. First day." James was proud guy, which sometimes turned him into a passive aggressive person. He gulped down the last of his coffee, and got up. "Nice meeting you. I didn't catch your name?" He stood up.

Emma smiled at him lightly and nodded her head. Of course not... A bad boy type that was also going after younger girls - younger innocent girls. She didn't understand it... There had to be quite a few more willing high school girls around her that he could - and she just kept reminding herself that he was wasting his time! "I'm Emma." She said with a smile. "Emma Johnson." Her dad was the owner of Johnson Co. One of the biggest and most well-known companies. She really didn't know that much about the work inside though. She held her hand out to shake his and blushed all the while. "Good luck on your first day."
