Unexpected. ||Closed||

Emma frowned a little as she heard his words. She tried to interject quite a few times but he wouldn't let her and that hurt and she shook her head. "No, don't you dare talk like that - nothing is worse than going through all of that again. I thought I was making the right choice here - I was giving you a good life!" She argued but the line was already dead. She was talking to the air around her. What hurt the most is she knew that she wouldn't get over him either. She never would. But it was too late to tell him that. And she didn't want him to stop trying - that was her sickness too. She wanted him to keep fighting. Because she didn't want it to be over. It had never been truly over before and she didn't know how to handle that. She wanted him and that was it. She walked out with her tear-stained cheeks. "I'm sorry..." She told Jake.

[good - I miss you ]

Jake held her shoulders and looked at her with concern. "Its okay Emma." he had been eavesdropping, but they could discuss it later. "So is it over? Are you two done?" he asked hopefully.

James yelled and thrashed around his already wrecked home, just thinking and wondering why she'd do this. James wasn't even sure what he'd do with his life now, since she was out of it. Anything he wanted had her in it - move to college with her, make love to her every night alone till morning then sleep in until she realized she had school while he worked to help pay her fees but eventually they'd see eachother again at night until they coul move on after her education. They'd move somewhere, maybe even have a few kids but James doubted it. Childhoods sucked. Maybe he should kill himself. Emma was gone, there wasn't anything to live for except for the high he got from crack and cocaine, or possibly the temporary pain free life he got from alcohol.

Emma looked up at him with her tear-stained cheeks. What had she done? She knew that she loved James and that she just wanted him. She was afraid of what he would do to himself now. And she couldn't deal with that. She needed him to live - that was the point of this whole thing. How badly she wanted him... But this was her choice, and she couldn't take it back now. She had to move on - and she hoped he did too. It hurt so much. She wanted the future she had always pictured with him... But she just shouldn't have gotten involved with Jake then. This was all her fault - and that's why she needed to let him go. Because she was going to get him hurt if she didn't, and she wasn't going to let it be her fault. She wanted him to be okay. "Yeah..." She said softly, sadly. "I think it's over..."

"Oh baby." placing his hands on her neck, he kissed her cheek and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "That bastard didn't deserve you anyways. You can't cry over him, he's not worth your tears." grabbing her hand, he lead her to her car. It was over, James was gone. Out of the picture. Jake doubted that he wouldn't try to get involved and steal her back, but he had no chance. Emma chose him.

Oddly, Kate and Lucky were both gone. It was probably a good idea they were, James wasn't ready to deal with it. He wasn't ever going to get over her, he'd live in pain like this every aching moment knowing that she was with him... How could she not see his true colors? He may love her too, but his heart was dark. It wasn't made for loving.

Emma sighed a little, still gasping a little as she sobbed and she shook her head. "No... You're right." She said softly and then sighed. "Where are we going?" She asked vulnerably and she shook her head. She didn't feel like doing anything. She lost a half of her. He was her true soulmate and she felt hurt. She hated knowing that she had to lose the man that she loved so much.

"Is it appropriate if I ask how long you've been together?" opening the door for her, he watched her get in his fancy vehicle before returning to the other side. "No where... I just thought maybe we should go somewhere quieter, farther away from that creep." he was being gentle, but at the same time he was still angry that he didn't get the revenge he wanted on James. He took the most important thing from him, but still..

Emma frowned lightly and shrugged. "Yeah... It's appropriate." She said softly and then shook her head, looking away. "Its just... Been awhile." She said softly and blushed. She didn't want to talk about for much longer... It just made her heart hurt and she didn't know what to say. "Oh... Okay." She blushed lightly.

misshhhhhh you too!! FINALLY get a break in 2 days so I'll be here then, things have been so hectic you wouldn't believe. I'm going to read back but could you give me the basis on James and Emma again? Gahh I miss them so much and you awesome girly!

I miss them too, so much!!! And I've missed you, lovely!!!! Basically, emma is with Jake right now and james is all broken up about it. She did it for his own good because Jake was threatening a law suit against James because of all of the stuff. So James and emma spent the night together and then she left in the middle of the night and everything. I hate that so much! Lol I missed you!

Okay fanks!! Read the last 5 pages and I got it now I think :) it was really sad reading it though...

"Im sorry for asking.." he said realizing how uncomfortable she looked. "Emma I want you. But I don't want to see you like this over James, you won't ever see him again..." he took her hand with the free one, just driving no where on the highway. "Your parents must be so worried. Maybe you should call then Emma." he glanced at her quickly with concern.

James knew what he was going to do. Kate must have taken Lucky with her and left him alone for a reason; to "cool off" and get over her. Didn't she realize it wasn't ever going to happen? What James wanted right now was a body to fuck, something small and warm and loving and like Emma, plus a big tall bottle of vodka. It would take his pain away. He was done, done taking it out on walls and miserably laying at home. This was exactly what Jake wanted, and he wouldn't have it.

Emma frowned lightly and then nodded her head. She shivered lightly as he grabbed her hand and blushed as he held it tightly. She didn't know what to think currently - not when she really just wanted to be back with James. She wanted to be in his arms again and now she couldn't take back what she had done... She could've just stayed there.. but risked losing him in a completely worse way. Maybe this would be better. "Okay..." She said and pulled out her phone, calling her mom.

James put on a dirty shirt from his laundry basket, and left the house. He didn't bother locking it as there was nothing to steal, so he took his keys from the bowl and sat in his truck. Driving towards the bar, he stared off at the side of the road thoughtless, emotionless, and just wishing a certain someone was beside him right now. He would never cry again, never love again, and never ever make the mistake of trusting someone again.

"Baby I think you should stay the night with me. He knows where you live and I don't trust an inch of that bastard." he clenched her hand again, turning around his Porsche and started driving back to where they came from.

Emma pouted lightly and shook her head. "I know... But he won't come after me... I've broken him and I know he won't... I think I need some time... Just alone." She said with a whisper. She wanted Jamie back so badly.

"Please Emma. You don't know him. He beat up my brother. I don't trust him for a second with you, he could HURT you! We don't have to stay in the same room or anything. You can stay in the guest room." pulling onto the side of the road, he turned to face her and squeezed her hand. "Please." he pleaded.

Emma blushed lightly and looked at him curiously before nodding her head. "okay..." She said softly. She didn't want to. She wanted to go to her room and just cry... Cry until she was empty, but she knew that she shouldn't argue with him. There was one thing Jake was forgetting - he loved her and she loved him... But she couldn't take it back.
