I'm looking to get a few new roleplays going after a long hiatus from roleplaying. I've got several somewhat fleshed out ideas, and others that are just basic ideas. I'm open to all and any brainstorming or plot changing, feel free to suggest things as well! I would prefer we double, it can be NC-17 or if you're not into that, it's fine as well.
More Fleshed Out Ideas:
1.The story of a group of peasant siblings in a fantasy/medieval based setting. They live on the outer edges of their kingdom, and when troops from a neighboring kingdom start pushing through the borders and ransacking towns, the siblings must flee for their life. Some may stick together, some may separate, some may find themselves doing whatever they can survive, and some may end up in surprising places. The possibilities are endless, but all of the siblings have the same goal in mind- to come back together, and to protect their family no matter what the cost.
2. There were twelve of them all together, each brought up within the same walls of the castle. Six young men, six young women. All of them raised to be the King and Queen, but in the end only one of them will be chosen. All of them come from different places within the kingdom, from different backgrounds and different ideas as to how the kingdom should be ran. This will be the story of the final year of their education- where they will choose who they'd like to rule beside, where they will do anything they can to try to ensure their spot on the throne. We can go several places with this, and I'd love to discuss it more.
3. She was The Marked Princess. In a moment of jealousy as a child, her twin sibling burned her face, scaring her for the rest of her life. Her face from then on out was to be hidden at all costs. While her sister was the beautiful one, she was to be ostracized by the rest of the court. When her father finally manages to arrange an engagement to a distant prince, one who must know nothing of her disfigurement, they come up with a plan. Her sister would pretend to be her, and woo the prince until it came time for their wedding day. That night, the Marked Princess will hide her face, and be the one to marry him. But when the beautiful sister starts to fall in love with him, will she let her jealousy get in the way this time? For this we would double- one as The Marked Princess, one as the sister, and then as their two love interests.
4. She has always been a woman of good morals. Nothing but a newly hired kitchen maid, her one goal in life was taking care of her younger siblings. Somehow she manages to catch the eye of the king, who shows an interest in her life. He learns of the responsibility she has to raise her siblings alone, he learns of the trials and tribulations she goes through, and in return she learns of the Queen's mental instability and cruelness. They begin to fall in love, but if they're discovered, it could result in the beheading of both of them. At the same time, his oldest son begins to fall in love with one of her younger sisters who also works around the castle, which creates another mess. I'm looking to play the girl who falls in love with the King in this one, and I'll play the son. I'm looking for someone to play her younger sister and the King.
5. Girl A was killed in a hit and run accident on her nineteenth birthday, and her death was so sudden and unexpected that her spirit didn’t move on. Instead she became a ghost, unable to remember her life before her death, and unable to move on until she resolved whatever was keeping her spirit there. When she finds that Girl B can see her, she creates a plan to discover who she was and why she couldn’t cross over, using her help.
Girl B came from a long line of women able to see ghosts, and her ability has made such a negative impact on her life that she’s practically a shell of a person, terrified of everything from the spirits to making connections with people. Girl B works as a waitress, although she’s on the verge of losing her job, at a restaurant ran by Guy A. Her fear of ghosts is what makes her go along with Girl A’s plan, hoping to resolve the situation and go back to her normal life as soon as possible.
Guy A is the kind of guy who has trouble containing his emotions. Whatever he feels, he feels so strongly he can’t hide it. He’s conservative, and has little patience for people without confidence, like Girl B. He’s been in an on/off relationship for a few years, but his callousness towards people is holding him back from having an actual connection with someone.
Guy B is one of the cooks at the restaurant, who is rather quiet and calm, but very attentive. He doesn’t do anything that goes against his beliefs, whether It be at work or in his personal life. Despite it happening a few years ago, he is still recovering from the sudden death of his best friend, who happened to be Girl A. At work, he looks out for Girl B, but sees her as a little bit hopeless.
While the girls are trying to figure out what could be causing her spirit to linger, Girl A lingers around the restaurant where the others work. At first, she just finds it funny to watch Girl B try to manage within the chaos of a busy restaurant. Slowly, though, she begins to develop feelings for one of the boys… which leads her to being a little less concerned about moving on, and more concerned with getting to know them. So, without the knowledge of Girl B, she decides to “borrow” her body occasionally. She would possess her, in order to get closer to the boy she has feelings for, and slowly the boy starts to fall in love with Girl B, not knowing it was really Girl A. This means that occasionally at work, the meek Girl B would suddenly have a completely different personality, confusing the employees around her. At the same time, the other boy begins to show interest in the real Girl B, and she develops feelings for him in return. This leads to all kinds of complications between the four of them, due to each girl using one body, but loving two separate men.
6. This is a medieval fantasy idea. A king relies on the word of his prophet to predict things that may threaten his place on the throne. Once they establish something or someone is a threat, the prophet is to eradicate the threat in a way that will ensure the king's place on the throne. When the king's first daughter is born, the prophet senses a threat, and sends her away. She grows up not knowing of her true heritage, only assuming she's the daughter of a noble. On the other hand, her sister has been the only other child born to the king, and he is raising her to be the Queen, despite the fact she isn't the rightful heir. This would be their story, as the firstborn daughter discovers her heritage and tries to take back her throne, while the younger daughter tries to prevent this.
7. A story taking place in a world where robots are a common sight. Scientists are working hard to make it so that robots are more lifelike, and have made a companion robot prototype. They decide the best way to test it would be on an unsuspecting person, and one of the male scientists choose a friend whose had bad luck with guys in the past. She falls for it, and while she's falling for the robot, the original scientist is slowly falling in love with her. At the same time, the daughter of the head of his department is working on her own robot prototype, and as she's seeking his advice, she's slowly falling for him as well. We could go all sorts of directions with this, and I think it sounds super fun.
8. I’m looking for a new original roleplay in a dystopian environment. I was looking to figure out the ins and outs of the world with a partner, along with the plot. Whether we spend a lot of time fleshing out the world or just get the basics and go, I think it would be a lot of fun.
