Kalya watched as the girl stormed excitedly upstairs, a small smile on her face. She mused about the suggestion, thinking Ice Skating wasn't a half bad idea, given the other students would take kindly to it as well. Rayna got up from her seat, scoffing at the others in derision, heading upstairs as well. If anything, she was definitely not going to lose to some little twerp who was so beneath her it was laughable. She had this in the bag- so long as she took out a few little hangups. Like Hiroki for one. Amin gave Bambi a wicked half grin, a slight daring glint in his eyes. "Oh, we have no objection. We just hope you don't cry when we beat you, little one." Adel laughed, standing up from the couch and stretching, turning around with her own alluring smile as she looked at those still in the room. "This will indeed be interesting," she mused in her native tongue, a wicked grin on her lips. She turned to Amin, motioning her head towards the stairs. "I'm soloing this one for now. Make things interesting." she grinned, turning and running up the stairs, leaving her brother with the fox, witch doctor, and grumpkin.
Amin sighed, looking back at Bambi just as the door opened and in slinked a slightly battered Ryker. His eyes widened as he took in the forming black eye. He shot a glance at Ki, who as usual was snarking up the situation, and watched as Kalyani twisted around suddenly.
Once she heard Bambi's exclamation, her eyes had shot straight towards Ryker. She immediately felt her pulse picking up in anger, her breath hitching in her throat. She saw red.
Someone had assaulted her student. She reacted immediately, jetting forward to grab the boy, but of course he knew what to do by now and she stopped midway in her approach to let him into the kitchen. "Bambi," she called brusquely, all traces of fun and joking gone from her voice. She knew the vampire didn't particularly
need the first aid kit, but she also knew the witch doctor well enough to know she would insist on it. "Get the first aid kit, and come back immediately. The kitchen is off bounds for everyone right now," she added, her gaze falling over those in the room, before turning around and heading straight for the fridge. She grabbed an Ice Pack, contemplating its uses, before tossing it in Ryker's direction. "II realize it probably isn't much use, but humor me. It might help with the bruise at least."
She closed the door, striding over to stand next to the boy, arms crossed as she gave him a once over. She flushed, her nostrils flaring. "Who did this to you?" she demanded, a look set to kill on her face. "Who hit you, and who did you hit? What happened, Ryker?"
As far as Kalya had been able to tell, no one in the house had known of any fight or alteration that Ryker was going to be a part of. He had made it seem as if he was going to go fucking around. Kalyani suspected that this, possibly, might have been a ruse. That, or the boy had genuinely been caught off guard by some idiot students.
Outside of the kitchen, Amin was still sitting with Shion, who was giving a puzzled look at the door. "That did not look good," he murmured, and Amin grunted in acknowledgement. He offered a reassuring smile to the small boy, pointing upwards to the second floor.
"Did your partner in crime leave you, too?" He asked, chuckling.
