AliceAlice stared into the darkness in front of her with naive bravery. The idea of walking along the two lane gravel road alone at night had never crossed her mind as dangerous. Just as the repercussions of jumping in after Tundry hadn't hit her until now.
She could not help but wrinkle her nose as she felt the uncomfortable sensation of her wet socks sliding around inside her bright red sneakers. Dust clung grossly to her new shoes, she'd have to ask Kali to help her wash them later. Once she took a nice hot shower, maybe have Shion make her some of the coco with the fluffy marshmallows. That would be really nice.
Giggling as she moved Alice took her time, hopping from side to side as she made her way down the road. Most of the time this path was what they took to school when they walked in the morning, not many cars took this route. So she wasn't worried about walking on the road.
She found it strange after a few minutes of walking when a car did show up. An old clinker which sped past her giving hardly enough time for the girl to jump out of the way as it zipped by. She would have hardly thought much about it if the driver hadn't slammed on his brakes a few feet down the road. The bright red brake lights shined hazily in the twilight air, before the truck reversed sharply towards the now startled girl. Alice only closed her eyes as the metal came inches from hitting her, before the wheels slid to a stop.
The rusted red ford stalled as if waiting for her to pass by. Alice stood from her spot staring at it in confusion, the ford which was on oversized tires made it impossible for her to see what was going on inside the truck. She only blinked when the lights flashed signalling the car had been shut off and the rusted out truck doors burst open.
Two teenage boys burst from the car like a confetti popper, dressed in identical gray sweatshirts and dark washed jeans the redheads made large strides towards the small blonde.
"H-Hello?" Alice asked eyes wide as she took a hesitant step back. "Can I help you? Did your car break down... I don't know anything about cars, but if you have a phone my friend Ryker he knows everything about cars, well motorcycles but they're like cars right?" the girl asked looking at their truck with concern as if the two boys might actually be in trouble.
"Alissa Riber?" the first boy called out his voice deep and challenging as he closed in, he was the oldest of the two at least Rayna's age he made a beeline for the younger girl not waiting for her answer as his hand erupted in flames.
"Y-yes, how did you-" Alice couldn't finish her words as the boy's flame engulfed hand wrapped around her pale wrist easily throwing her off the road and over the small drop off to the right.
He was good at it, like one of the boys which would throw her around on stage, maybe that's why her body went so far because she was used to being thrown. The only thing which caught her this time though was the sharp pain as her ribs made contact with the side of the grassy hill, her thin body cracking over rocks as she rolled painfully the rest of the way down the hill. Panic consuming her.
Fear finally came to Alice's eyes as her brain swam, the word
Run rang in her ears as she tried to pull herself to her feet, stumbling over her own feet as she tried to make it for the woods, the cheering sounds of the boys as they stumbled down the hill after her.
"Rocket, don't play so rough," the other boy whined his hands also erupting in flames, as he followed the other boy towards the stumbling girl.
"Wait! Wait," Alice cried backing away from both her hands extended almost peacefully as she looked for a quick escape.
"Listen, did I tell you to get up?" Rocket asked cocking a brow as he broke the distance, his blazing hands sizzling as they grabbed a handful of her hair, yanking violently upon her strands he sent the graceful girl to her knees dragging her along the ground kicking and screaming back up the hill. The smell of burnt hair and flesh lingered in the air.
"Patrick, a little help?" The boy asked a tick in his voice as he threw the girl to the gravel, at the other boy's feet. The child now sobbing as she grabbed onto the gentler boy's legs hidden behind a wave of burnt and broken white blonde hair. The white strands sat next to her smudged in dark red blood.
"Stop it, stop it," she whined. Alice had never been touched like this before. She had never felt heat so intense before, her ice almost curled up and died inside of her, she couldn't feel it, she didn't feel cold and it wasn't a relief.
A sharp kick to the face sent the girl to the ground again, and she didn't bother getting up, instead she curled up, sobbing. No one had ever hit her before, she was never spanked as a child, never shoved, never manhandled before, and this was absolutely devastating. She didn't know how to process the pain.
"Don't curl up! Take it you little bitch," Rocket growled his burning hands searing flesh as he flipped the girl onto her back, his boot jamming into her stomach as he stomped on her, blood spurting from her nose as he
missed.
"Pleaaaasssseeee," Alice sobbed trying to hide her face with her hands.
"Fuck'n A- Patrick! Hold her down! Jesus," Rocket growled straddling the now fighting girl underneath him his burning hands smoking as they left imprints upon her skin. Burning material to flesh as he dodged a weak punch sent from the halfblood.
"Yeah, Yeah, don't get your knickers in a bunch," the boy only snorted his heated hands sticking to her wrists as he thrust them over her head so Rocket could get his punches in just the way he wanted them. So Patrick had to watch his semi-drunk friend get the revenge he felt he needed.
"Fucking Halfbloods," Rocket growled, his fingers now working on the underside of the girl's T-shirt, burning red blotches around the girl's waist, angry red welts which caused such twitches and screams as they decorated her once pale skin. "You shouldn't have been born," Rocket slurred shaking his head as his nails cut into the burns, "Your existence disgraces our race, the Seelie Court, the whole fucking community," he spat, hatred clear upon his face as he shoved his blazing hands deeper into her sides, gaining the high pitched screams he'd been craving. "Weak, you're too weak, and I'm going to kill you, before you kill someone,
F-r-e-a-k." He whispered as if promising himself, before pressing his hands to the squirming girl's cheeks, trying to burn the screams from her.
"You need to stop telling people you're an elemental, you need to stop saying you're a Seelie, you understand," Patrick tried reasonably as he pulled his hands finally away from her wrists grimacing as skin came back attached to his palms which wasn't his. "Is she supposed to look like that?" Patrick asked skeptically kicking at Alice's head he was surprised to find she didn't turn it back, passed out most likely.
"I'm going to kill the bitch who cares," Rocket growled eyes blazing as he shot his friend a dirty look.
"She didn't kill Karen," Patrick argued softly not stopping his friend as he pulled out a small pocket knife from his pocket. It was the sort of thing Rocket always carried with him.
"No, but she can make more of
them," he threatened pressing the blade of the knife against her throat, drawing blood in the process.
"She's a kid Rocket," Patrick rolled his eyes watching as his friend suddenly dropped the knife instead his hands going towards her jeans. Movements sloppy as he went to undo the top button.
"Hardly," Rocket hissed, annoyed with how hard it was to undo the zipper.
"Rocket, are you kidding me? She's like fucking 10," Patrick growled stomping forward, "If you want a lay, let's get the Fire Witch next she sure dresses like a slut, one little dead Halfblood won't matter you rape the kid and we have a different kind of shit storm to deal with," Patrick threatened shoving his friend off the girl.
"If you're going to kill her kill her, otherwise let's go before someone finds her," Patrick demanded running a bloodied hand through his hair.
Rocket only glared at the boy like a child about to throw a tantrum. "F-I-N-E," He hissed, picking up the knife, he stared down at the unconscious girl. Knowing exactly where he wanted to aim, the small blade disappeared into her body before he ripped it out. Eyes full of hatred as a sharp kick sent the stabbed and severely burned girl down the other side of the hill.
"Now, let us be done with it," Patrick sighed, following Rocket back to the truck, content with their work. One less Halfblood to worry about.
