Went to see The 1975 live back in January, truly incredible!! One of, if not the, best I've been to. Met Matty afterwards (the others scurried off, I'm guessing that's because everyone else was only really screaming for Matty, which was a shame) and he was a true angel. During the show he'd fallen onto the crowd and some stupid people had just kinda collapsed, leaving me at the bottom of a human sandwich, feet on my face and all that stuff. Matty, being the gentleman he is, hopped down from crowd surfing and tried to help me up, despite the security pulling him out. Instead, he settled for standing on the other side of the barrier and waiting to see if I was okay. I thanked him when I met him and he was the sweetest person ever, saying "Oh god, was that you?! I'm so sorry! Just wanted to have a bit of fun guess I just got a bit carried away are you alright, darling?"
If anyone calls The 1975, Matty in particular, a bad person, I fight them to the death.
Just thought id share my personal experience!! Hope everyone gets something like this (minus the injury, please stay safe lovelies) one day!!
@ I'mA-Renegade oh my god. what a doll! sigh. he just keeps getting more and more perfect.
I agree, though, that it's a shame they only scream for matty. the others are equal parts in the band. they're just as talented and amazing. and just as attractive.
@ semisweet. The others did come outside, but they were just kinda blindsided by all the girls screaming for Matty. The most I got out of the others was a very thankful smile from Ross along with a wave, probably just for recognising he was even in the band. It's such a shame.
@ the 1975 I went through an All Time Low phase when I was younger and they had first come out. I have no idea what the new stuff sounds like but I think my face would look the same if they collaborated. That'd be so weird and just... no.
