    1) ELF liquid eyeliner, Smashbox primer, some sort of pale foundation that keeps me matte + Maybeline (idk I can't spell it lmfao) Lash Stiletto mascara File
    2) Smashbox photo finish primer, potentially some concealer if I have any acne that day that is bad, foundation, curl the eye lashes, winged eyeliner, black eyeliner for my upper waterline + white eyeliner for my lower waterline, finally a brown eyebrow pencil.
    3) Not really no. But white eyeliner on your water line, tightening the line of your winged liner w/ black on your upper water liner + heating up your eyelash curler are things I will never skip. And that's what I tell people when they ask me how I do my make up.
    4) I started wearing makeup every day in 8th grade. It was originally just some foundation with mascara and a little shimmery shadow.
    5) A totally rimmed eye with very black eyeliner. My eyes are very round and I don't like them looking like two perfect circles on my face Facepalm
    6) FILL IN THOSE BROWS, LADIES. And oil blotting sheets are always a good idea too Facepalm

I use practically everything from Mac Cosmetics, but to be fair most of it is my mom's and I've collected things myself from birthdays and Christmases. Shifty

I use the palest (closest to palest? NC 15) foundation and then the Studio Fix powder. I then put on a light shade of pink blush on my cheeks and then fill in my eyebrows (although I need new eyebrow filler because my technique isn't working for me any longer and I'm not a fan... I want my eyebrows nicer looking, damn it!). After I do my eyebrows I put on a light shade of nude all over my eyes and then I do a light shade of brown on my lids and a little over my creases twice to make it a little darker. I line my bottom lashes with the same brown eyeshadow and then complete it with mascara. tehe

I used to get the technique of eyeliner down, but I've been slacking and I can't seem to do it anymore. XD

Do you prefer to use an eyebrow powder / eyeshadow to fill in your brows? Shifty I used to use MAC Espresso eyeshadow + a clear mascara (that served as clear brow gel, really) but then I switched over to Too Faced Bulletproof Brows, which is a pomade similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow.

It's all I use now and it stays on like it claims; I "converted" my mother to use it and she only has experienced minimal fading when she goes out for her daily exercise of running. Also important to note that I live in a very humid climate so I used to accidentally wipe my brow off if I was sweaty / my combo. skin did its thing. Facepalm I highly recommend it---although the Bulletproof Brows pomade is only available in a limited range of shades (brunette & taupe).

Maybe you'd have more luck with the Dipbrow pomade in that case since the range has many shades to accommodate different hair and skin colours. However, the Bulletproof Brows pot also has a combo angled brush + spoolie! Wow (Essentially an angled eyeliner / brow brush on one end and a spoolie on the other.)

Anyway, sorry for the super long rant of an explanation. I really do swear by the Too Faced product since I've been looking for a product that could save me some application time in the morning. It really is a good product for lazy people such as myself that have the tendency to spend way too much time making their brows look presentable.
I finally got around to "layering" my eyeliner and my friends seemed to like it. I did my regular black winged eyeliner and then a thin line of white liquid liner because I saw it in tutorials and photos. It was such a simple way to add something to the look without that much effort. Needless to say, I did my newfound technique two days in a row. Mr. Green

& since I am, of course, too lazy to upload & post the picture of me wearing the look, it's pretty much like this:

    Image

Except my eyeliner can't be that thick due to my Asian hooded lids with multiple creases in one btw.

I've never actually used eyeshadow for eyebrow filler, I use some pencil that's not Mac. It never comes out the way most drawn-in eyebrows do, which is super unfortunate, but I'm hoping that when I get something new it'll do the job. XD

I'll definitely look into the ones you recommended, though! They sound pretty promising, and I'm sure they're a lot better than the one that I have. tehe ... It also doesn't help that my eyebrows are practically nonexistent anyways. Cheese

Ah, your makeup routine looks so pretty! I can't do eyeliner for the life of me (at least not winged), so to be able to do double just sounds fantastical. tehe Those lips though. Holy moly, I wish I had lips like that! I'm sure everything looks fantastic on you!

I hope it works out for you. My mother actually has sparse eyebrow hair and she really likes how it doesn't look as harsh and drawn in since she uses the "universal taupe" shade (I use the brunette one).

Thank you though. Embarassed I'm sure you can pull off a lot of things as well though because of your fair skin and delicate features. I actually have to be careful with lip products---I try to avoid lip gloss because I don't like the texture and it makes them look even more huge. lmfao

In Love Oh my gosh your eyebrows are so on point in your profile picture! Is that the first product you mentioned or was that the other one you mentioned? I can't even get my eyebrows to look like that at all, but that's the end result that I want. XD My mom has great eyebrows too, she doesn't even really need to fill them in any which is nice, but when she does they look ten times nicer.

Not necessarily anything, although I haven't really tried a lot of makeup techniques since I don't think I'm too good at it even though everyone tells me otherwise. Twitch I want to get more confident in it though, but when my face stops looking horrible I shall get on it! Dark lipstick doesn't look good on me (as in dark purples and other odd colors) because I'm so pale, but I like the brighter colors anyways. With my red hair though nothing tends to match except a nude lip XD The lipstick you're wearing in your profile picture is really really pretty. In Love

You're much too kind. OMGYES In my most recent photo, I'm using Bulletproof Brows. I recommend the other one because my best friend uses it and I was actually supposed to order the Anastasia one but there was an issue when I tried to order it. But I'm glad because I could try something else that was recommended to me months ago and now it's HG to me. Cool Your mom is super lucky though, I only know a few people that can achieve such a feat.

"Stops looking horrible." What. OMG NO! You give good face, ok. I can pull off dark coloured shades typically but you can choose from a wider variety of soft, lighter / pale shades. You can wear a variety of nude / flesh tone shades and if you work up that courage---well, purple, blue, and grey are ~*~in fashion~*~ these days.

Cute Thank you x1000 again. It's Too Faced La Crème in Bon Bon. I'm a sucker for coral and pink lipstick shades---I like them on myself more than red lipstick, actually. Totally not biased because my fave colour is pink.

Oh, I see! Your brows are stunning regardless Cute I can't wait to go shopping now, haha, I never want to go shopping! Do you know where I can find it? I don't know a thing about makeup, really, but my momma helps me out a lot. If it was at a Target or Sephora, or something that'd be super handy since I have two close to my house XD

Ahhh, thank you! Hug I meant in the way that my skin is practically never clear enough to where I feel like wearing makeup, but the compliment was very nice and totally unexpected. tehe Oh gosh, blue?! I can't imagine myself with that color on me at all. Shocked

UGH, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON PINKS. I love pink. I think I have about twenty shades of it in my bathroom right now lmfao My favorite is Candy Yum Yum by MAC and Snob. ~~ Candy Yum Yum is literally SO bright and neon and it's amazing, and Snob's the exact opposite in where it's really neutral and great.

Just. Makeup. If I had the willpower to get my face did every day... In Love

I don't have any Sephora or Ulta where I live. Smiley But they have Too Faced products at Ulta, and I just made an order for another yesterday actually. The Anastasia Beverly Hills products are at Sephora though.

Cute No problem. & yeah, I'm not too sold on blue as a lipstick colour in terms of everyday wear (or on myself) but it can work for some people. To each their own.

YES, finally, someone who appreciates pink. Cool My favourite is MAC Girl About Town or Impassioned. I even have Milani Flamingo Pose (pretty close dupe to Impassioned / Party Parrot) and Hot Pink Rage. Fuchsias, bright pinks / corals are just love. In Love

It's super relaxing, having someone do your makeup. AH. When I do a full face on myself, I just get tired and I don't think I do it right.

What? How do you not? Shocked But okay, I see! I'll have to look online then, or something, just look around. Cute

Haha, probably Kylie Jenner File I wouldn't mind blue lipstick if my hair was dark (like a black or a really dark brown), or maybe even blonde, but any other color and I feel like it wouldn't work.

How can you not like pink for lipstick? It's just so.. In Love Oh, I haven't tried those yet! I'm sure they look great, though. Cute

Oh, I loved it when my mom would do my makeup. Unfortunately she doesn't do it now because she expects me to do it myself, but I'm just like MOM PLEASE LOVE ME DO MY MAKEUP. Cheese I feel like I do it wrong, too! Omg I'm so glad I'm not the only one. XD

I JUST GOT THE MALEFICENT LIP GLASS AND I'M SO EXCITED TO WEAR IT YOU HAVE NO IDEA. I've never tried MAC's lip glass so I hope that it'll be a great first experience! And also my mom thought I should do cosmetology school for makeup, and it sounds like it'd be a good promising thing, but I'm not sure if I'd get that much money for doing makeup, you know? I would like a job that gathers a lot, like doing hair or something (which my mom also tells me I'd probably be great at it Shocked).

I live in a US territory. Facepalm

Nah, she's got nothin' on you, and that's the truth! Hand I'm a firm believer in learning from makeup "mistakes" so it doesn't hurt to try things that are out of the box.

They're perfection. Cry I'm currently wearing an OCC Lip Tar though.

It's the other way around; I pester my mother to do her makeup. She doesn't like to fuss with hers (for her, a full face is her powder foundation, eyebrow pomade, lipstick, and mascara---I'm like no wait what about the other stuff, ma lmfao). I'd bother mine too if she was into makeup more than / as much as me.

I have one lip glass that I don't even use (used it 1x for a full night---prom) because the consistency of those products weighs down my lips and the texture grosses me out. But the swatches of the gloss are heavenly so I'm sure it looks fabulous on you. Cheese & I'm sure you could do it freelance / on the side?

My best friend is similar (good at makeup application on herself and others + has an interest in hair styling as well) but the pay, unless your some stylist / artist to someone on the A-List, guarantees the commission won't be that much imo. She plans on owning a salon of sorts. Have you looked into that sort of thing? Cute

If I was feeling better (I'm currently sick, ugh, I hate colds) I would totally be doing my makeup every day now. It doesn't take me too long to get it done, but I do a whole face so it is a little time consuming.

Yeah, I tend not to make too many mistakes in my makeup XD Although that is how I did my eyeliner for a while, from a mistake. I should work up to doing eyeliner again, but I guess I'm just too chicken to mess it up and then have to wipe it all off without me looking like a raccoon.

I wore my Maleficent lip glass today! I had to look pretty for my grandma's birthday dinner otherwise I would've gone without any makeup, but it worked pretty well considering I had Mexican food. XD

Mom please! Don't forget about the eyeshadow and blush and eyebrows! tehe I swear, my mother could do celebrity's makeup if she really wanted to. She's done a couple weddings before, and then when Halloween comes around she's really good at doing all those kind of effects and stuff with it, too. Ugh, she's great. I've told her more than once to work at MAC, but now she's just too busy. Cheese

I tend to do that too for school events! Use something once and then forget about it later. But most of the time I'm not going to go all out for every day wear, you know? It's too much work. That, and I can barely do a smokey eye. Facepalm Yeah, I was thinking of doing it on the side, perhaps! Something like that.

I'm thinking of going to cosmetology for hair or something, since I know it pays good and whatnot, plus I have a lot of people in the business so that helps too, but I'm still not 100% sure yet. I have so many other things that I'm interested in that it's difficult to just stick to one thing. Cheese

I don't feel like having a full face on about 95% of the time because of the humid climate & I'm lazy so don't even feel bad. XD

But you're one of those already gorgeous people that don't even "need" it what are you talking about. Coffee Ahem.

That's awesome about its longevity though---I'm incapable of not being messy whilst eating Mexican food!

Hail Unworthy. Your mother sounds positively amazing, it's no wonder why you're her offspring. There's no other explanation. She's probably much better than a good bulk of the MAC employees at makeup application, hands down.

It definitely works for people in the local artist / stylist scene around here. You can always go through with whatever plan you choose, career-wise, and go back to cosmetology. You can totally juggle that. Thumb up

    1) What are you makeup must-haves? Black liquid eyeliner (preferably Wet n Wild), mascara (preferably They're Real), a couple eyeshadows depending on what I'm wearing (I've accumulated a lot of palettes over the years), concealer, powder, and either pink, mauve, wine or red lipstick. Very vague but I do my makeup different every day pretty much.
    2) Your makeup routine? It's always different, but I'll usually put my concealer on, then powder, then eyeshadow, then eyeliner, then mascara, then lipstick. And sometimes I'll just do eyeliner and mascara.
    3) Do you have a special technique? I do winged eyeliner if that counts and I use a bunch of different techniques. I used to obsessively practice doing all kinds of different makeup all the time so I know how to do a lot.
    4) When did you start? I started wearing makeup when I was 12, but got really interested when I was about 14 and started to really practice.
    5) What was the worst makeup look you've ever tried and thought looked good? Oh god, there's been a lot. Probably trying to cancel out my very bushy eyebrows and drew on really thin ones.

    1) L'Oreal gel eyeliner, Too Faced Better Than Sex (Shifty) mascara, and MAC's Russian Red lipstick!
    2) Foundation, concealer, eye primer, crease contour, winged liner, brows, mascara, bronzer, lipstick. But I'm okay with just mascara and moisturizer.
    3) When I do my eyeliner, I make it thicker towards the ends then wing the line straight out (it curves when you open your eyes). This way I get even wings every time! Cute
    4) Around 9th grade, but I didn't get into it until last year.
    5) I was in a heavy bottom liner phase. Facepalm
    6) Russian Red is perf. Just perf. The red lipstick to end all red lipstick purchases!

I just found out that E.L.F. upped their prices. :( So I don't know if my make-up faves will be changing soon.

Brush - E.L.F's total face brush. I use it to apply my foundation, blush/bronzer, and to blend.

Setting Spray - E.L.F's Mist and Set. I used it to help blend my foundation (especially if I use a foundation stick) and to set my make-up.

Foundation - I like Maybeline's Fit Me Foundation Stick in the winter/fall months and Clinique's Stay-Matte in the summer/spring.

Eyeliner - I love Milani's black eyeliner (though I don't use that often anymore). For liquid liner that's colorful, I like E.L.F's liquid color. It's the only one I use that doesn't spread/smear when I blink.

Mascara - Maybelline's Great Lash basic mascara (I just think after all the years it's still the most consistently good mascara).

Blush - I only use Black Radiance's blush. The colors are perfectly pigmented - so you can use a little or a lot to get exactly the color you want.

Chapstick - Eos. It's the only chapstick I ever use until it's completely finished.

Lipstick - For matte colors, I go to NYC. They're really inexpensive and the color shows wonderfully and true and matte.

Eyebrow kit - Wet and Wild's eyebrow kit.
I just found out E.L.F has upped their prices, so I don't know if I'm going to continue using their brushes or if I'll find an alternative. I think an E.L.F. brush priced at a $1 is a good deal for the quality, but I don't know if I feel the same for an E.L.F. brush priced at $2. I feel like if I'm not paying $1, I can probably find better quality brushes for maybe about $3 a pop that would last a little longer. I don't know yet. I know Essence has decent make-up, so I'll have to see what they have for tools.

    1) Mascara, without a doubt. I use MAC Zoom Lash or Lorac Cobra with Tarte's or Urban Decay's primer. I could take or leave the rest of my make up routine, but I've noticed that if I don't wear mascara, my eyes look small and sleepy. It's pretty gross.

    2) Toner/Moisturizer, concealer/foundation and light powder, mascara and eyeliner (lower water line), and chapstick -- sometimes I'll toss on a lipstick or tint. Also my eyebrows, ugh, my eyebrows. They're so annoying (I have the Urban Decay eyebrow thing, a pencil from NYX and a black eyeliner pencil that I use specifically for my eyebrows for now. It's sorta touch and go because they're spotty and growing out. It's also a huge pain to do, but sometimes I don't need to do anything, sometimes I need just a brush through with color and other times the whole eyebrow needs to be done.)

    3) I have a special brush that I use for my foundation (Urban Decay Naked Skin, liquid) and I put a little right on the brush before blending it into my concealer. I found it looks wayyy better than if I do each one individually.

    4) I think when I was fifteen/sixteen? I used to only wear eye make up though. Ironically enough, I only wear eyeshadow now if someone does it for me or if I'm going out.

    5) I did my eyebrows, completely in pencil. The color was too light so they didn't match and they were thicker than they're waxed, but it was so on point I wanted to cry.

    6) I want to work on doing eyeliner on my upper lid. It's always thick and crooked but that's probably because I never practice. I always want to work on my eyebrows so I don't spend so much time on them. I really need to invest in more brushes, primer and I'm dying to learn how to highlighting on my face. A friend did it once and it looked amazing, I've never been able to recreate it though.

I think makeup is so pretty. I never have worn a lot, when I was in high school I wore eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick never foundation, I don't know why. Now I only wear mascara and lipstick.
