I kind of have as well, so if we were to go ahead, I'd need to start everything back up again. It looks like it'll be more likely to be tomorrow before I get this up (I've written half of it but I got distracted ) but it will definitely be done by tomorrow. I've got the whole day to myself tomorrow.

I did have a better beginning for the chapter but I accidentally closed the tab I was writing in and couldn't recover it.

It's up to you. I mean, I'll still be on board if you still want to write it but my vote would be deserting it (at least for now) and then maybe a while down the road it's revived, with the same ideas from before but refreshed and added onto. And alrighty. Although tomorrow is in an hour, but who's counting?

I do that all the time, it's nightmarish.

I think I might end up doing that, I've piled too much on my plate as it is without adding another co-write onto the list. I absolutely arsed up and didn't get it finished when I said I would, but I finished it and put it up now. I have no idea how planes work so I was just winging it.

Yeah, especially as you're going abroad soon. It might be best if you save all the stuff from the thread (or I could?), notify the other co-author (though she hasn't been online for a long time) and delete the thread so that when you come back to it, you can start afresh.

Yes, I saw! I am SOOOOO excited for this. It goes down in the next chapter. It'll be goooood.

Exactly, starting it before I go is just going to give me way too much to do. I might actually do just that. Saving everything shouldn't be a problem, I can do that all just now (I'm supposed to be packing so I need all of the excuses I can get) and then get the thread deleted sharpish.

I'll try and get it written tomorrow but if not then the likelihood is it'll either be Monday or Tuesday seeing as I'm moving out of accommodation during the weekend.

That's fine, don't worry about the time! I'm pretty much swamped for the next week anyway. Apparently leaving the country for six months means that everyone wants to see you before you leave, who knew?

We had agreed that we were going to have one on the plane and one off the plane, hadn't we? I just thought because I've started writing as if Matthew is going to be left on the plane but I can't remember what we had decided after the other authors couldn't continue.

[also, for reference, the two that the hijacker chooses in my chapter -- obviously if Matthew's getting off I can change it before I upload it -- are Luka Milic (44) and Evaline Mayer (62)]
